Thank you! I am sorry she didn't have money to tip, but she still allowed herself to say it was ok to short the server, WHO, btw, has to pay taxes on that sale. A lot of people don't get that. If no one tipped that server, Uncle Sam still says they DID. It's called allocated tips. When you don't tip a server, you aren't just stiffing them, you are taking money out of their pockets. They make a lot of premade food at the grocery store. She could have asked her friends to meet her in the park, someone's home, the cafeteria at school etc. Allowing yourself to stiff a server IS unethical in my opinion. That is not to label that young woman as "bad" and the server should NEVER confront a bad tipper. But at the very least she is being ignorant and should learn better.
I hated all the examples of the "good people doing bad things." All of them were just bad people. Bad tippers are the worst. Take the stairs one floor unless you're in a wheelchair. People who are unapologetically late consistently are scum who never learn. All of these are just bad people. Stay away from them. I do what I say I'll do, I don't treat anyone in a way I wouldn't want to be treated, I try to help people and give them the benefit of the doubt, I take the stairs and I tip appropriately.
The more I think these things through the more I realize how hipocrite we are lol
Helped me very much in understanding this term - especially now with all Uni's online. Thank you!
BRUH THE EXAMPLE WITH CHEATING ARE U KIDDING ME?😭
If you don't have money to tip, don't go to a restaurant that expects tips.
Very well explained to help me better understand the FAE!
A very good explanation especially with the different scenarios. Should help me in my exams.
This is wonderfully explained
Thank you ! Nicely explained 😍💪🏻
Great video, thank you!
ok but also, if you don't have money to pay your server don't go out to eat - don't make them work for you only to give them pennies
That’s a tough take
@@yeknom626 HA yeah it really is lmao, I was just fired up about it bc I’m a server and I gotta live off those pennies
This is a conversation to have with your boss, not the people you serve
watching this in 2022. I agree, if you didn't get your paycheck you shouldn't be eating out to begin with.

this is an interesting video. why it has only 25 views?
There's a video called "this is water" that explains these things better.
If you don’t have the extra money to tip, don’t go to a place where it is etiquette to tip. Many servers rely on tips as their main income.
If lazy or stupid or
