You must also understand the Anthropology terms of high-contextual society vs low-context society. Even Europeans can be associated with either one. French or Italian are more "collectivist" than a "English" who are more individualistic...

Which is the right way to approach success then...I'm from India but I really love to be individualistic...

Being an u individualistic is not necessarily a good or the right thing. There always should be a balance in life and anything In General. Individualistic and collective cultures both have flaws and problems in their core essence that should be balanced out by the counterpart. Therefore success or failure are not necessarily merely related only to internal or external factors but to both to some extent.

2:08 Isn't the name of that bias (overattributing situational factors for oneself, underattributing internal factors) "self-serving bias"? Or does self-serving bias only apply specifically in good (overattribute situation, underattribute internal) and bad (overattribute internal, underattribute situational) events?

Might be late for you but the self serving bias is more about outcomes. Say I do well on the test, I’m likely to attribute that to internal factors like my hard work and studying. If I do poorly I’m more likely to attribute that to external factors like the test being unfair etc. similar but a bit distinct
