00:20 come on, 'handicap' is such an outdated term with negative connotations. you could use the term 'disabled'.

      "Hey pastor, I'm gay"
"Cool, Jesus loves us all. Come join us for communion, all are welcome at God's table."

@@jake_from_statefarm7209 You see, that's not at all how that's supposed to work. A couple of things need to be addressed here. Firstly, yes, Jesus is love but he is also justice. Christianity is *the* faith of love and peace but it does not at all neglect the concept of judgment. For without judgment there would be no justice, period. For all the criticisms that are often levelled against Christianity (all of which can be answered) I would sincerely hope that no one would ever accuse us of having no concern for the dealing with of sin, justice and judgment. Alas, however, the situation you described does actually occur all too frequently. The minute you only love people with no concern for helping them deal with their sin problem you have utterly failed as a Christian. If people don't deal with their sin then they don't live, "for the wages of sin is death". Christians must be deeply concerned with sin, both within themselves and in others. Mankind's reconciliation to God is the core message of the gospel (2 Cor 5:18-19), it is our sin toward God that we all need redemption from, that cannot be overlooked. Love is to be shown at all times to all people with welcome, open and deeply caring arms but sin none the less needs to be dealt with and it is not at all dealt with when it is not even addressed as in the example you gave above. Secondly, I wish to point out that the quote "all are welcome at God's table" is not from the Bible. Whilst the sentiment of God calling all of mankind to repent, be saved and enter into eternal fellowship (characterised by Jesus in scripture as eating at God's table at the wedding feast) to use that phrase in the way you have is entirely unscriptural. The fellowship of those that believe with each other and with God (in your example this is communion and eating at God's table) are only ever for those that believe; it is the fellowship of the righteous together with God so then how can someone living in (currently) unrepentant sin partake of it. Notice in scripture how in scripture where Jesus institutes the last supper (where communion is derived from) that Judas had already left at the point in the evening. Communion is not for the unsaved. As for eating at God's table, the most applicable scripture here would be Matthew 22:1-14, demonstrating that yes, all are welcome at God's table (many are called) but those that are called often scorn his invitation (and often God's messengers, us) and reject the invitation because they will not turn away from their sin and back to God. Mate, I love you and really want you to understand the truth, I hope that this has helped you understand that God wants and has always wanted a perfect world and we must love one another as he does us *as well as* deal with our sin by trusting in Jesus, who has taken the punishment for our sin, in order to enter into that perfect world and perfect relationship with God having been reconciled to him. Same-sex attraction is not God's way and together with God someone who has said attractions, if they humble themselves toward God, can be rid of them. It's just like any other sin, if by turning away from sin the kleptomaniac can supernaturally be rid of their desire to steal and the pathological liar can supernaturally be rid of their desire to lie then so too can those with same-sex attraction be regenerated in mind and spirit and be rid of such desires and inclinations.

@@jordanclekovic9434 You know, this reminds me of another video I watched recently. They said "it was ok" to engage in sexual intercourse with your relatives, back when there were only a few people on Earth (Adam, Eve, and some more). I mean, how come something as outrageous as that was acceptable in the past and not now? Double standards.
As a friend of many homosexual people, they are not sinners at all. Two people loving each other and not hurting anyone, how could it be wrong? The God I believe in is clever enough to realize that. By the way, we live on an overpopulated planet, and resources are falling short. Fewer children will help us all.

@@alexam87 Hey man, just thought I'd respond to a few of your assertions. Firstly, the practice of what we now call incest did occur for the first few generations of mankind. However, it is important to note that this was ok for a while as the human genome had yet to be badly corrupted and thus incestuous unions didn't result in any defects. After the fall in the garden of Eden corruption on a genetic level entered the world but occurred over time not immediately. You can see this if you plot on a graph the age at death of all of the genealogies mentioned in genesis and then the ages of all of the notable characters through to Moses. It forms a downward exponential curve with Adam living for over 900 years and Moses living for 120. Even at the time of the book of Exodus the genome was intact enough that while God outlawed marriage between siblings he permitted it between first cousins. Now the human genome is so bad that incest is no longer practical (and is therefore immoral due to the high likelihood of birth defects).
Secondly, it's not up to us to say whether or not we think something should be moral. If i said to you that I'm going to go have sex with your wife and she had already agreed, what's wrong with that? It's two consenting adults doing what they want to do out of love. Do you see the problem there? Saying that something is right if it feels good or doesn't hurt someone sounds good until you start asking some hard questions. At the end of the day, if you don't put your trust in God for determining what is right and what is wrong then you will always end up justifying atrocities. Its a form of subjective morality, which as much as you or anyone you know would like to say that that that line of thinking doesn't allow for horrible people to do horrible things, it does. Morality (righteousness) is set in stone and has been from before the world began and will be forever after the world is no more. It does not change and it is fully beholden (as are we) to God, it's originator and perfecter. At the end of the day my friend, Christians love homosexuals but we cannot condone what we know to be wrong. We want then to come to the knowledge of the truth and be free from their sinful nature just as we want and desire all people to be, and that they may know God like we do. No one knows the fullness and purity of love without knowing God and we as ambassadors of that great love want to see all people saved. I love you friend and I hope that you understand that this love comes from God and will not relent trying to see the lost saved, the blind see and the broken hearted to live again.
