Awesome! I was just thinking about how I wish they would do guitar lessons on their new music. lol I'm very new to the guitar, but I've already learned the intros to December and The World I Know. I tried Shine and Gel, but failed on those. haha I'll have to give this a try. We don't have to interpret and cover the whole song do we?

I discovered Collective Soul's music when I lived in America in the 90's (I'm from the UK) and I immediately LOOOOOOVED their music, and have ever since. It's such a shame they're not as well known here in the UK. Their music's great! I haven't seen any images of them in recent years though so I still had it in my head that Ed looked the same as he did 15+ years ago with long hair. I'm startled to see how different he looks now . . . not bad, just very different with short hair and, of course, more mature looking. He kind of reminds me of Kurt Russell now, although Kurt of course is still a lot older! Slightly disconcerting to me but I can get used to the look ! !
Well let’s see Ed was 30 Hints and Allegations came out in 1994, then he was 31 when the album of the same name came out in 1994 then he was 32 when the blue album came out in ‘95, he 34 when Discipline came out in 97’ and then he was 36 when Dosage came out in 99’ into the 2000’s he was 39 and so on.
30 in 93 if I may add.

Wow, Roland tells us a private roll in the hay, right from the sheets of his bed. Oh I must say there is nothing like the inspiration of romance mixed with a passion play. C-soul and Skynryd are my two favorite bands interesting they are both from the South, and have never been shy about God. This is super cool to share with us about the recording process Thanks !!!
