Looking at the last graph, the engine made power faster at lower RPM before the mod, like 250 HP faster at below 5000 RPM????? Why would I go with this mod?
@@CompetitionAuto thanks I didn't no that I replace the intake on my 1997 mustang it kept showing the check engine light. But now that I think about it probably because I put a new intake 😅
Any bolt on not labeled as a Chevy/GM part will void power train. And the Brandon admin e p a is going after folks with aftermarket tunes. Cracking the ecu no matter if the tune can go back to stock it will still leave sensors with temporary changed variables visible to the dealer computers. Hate to say it but by 2025, no more drag racing, anyplace, no more gasoline vehicles, etc. and of course going electric will crash the power grid in 80% of nations around the world especially the u s, which has the most outdated p w r grid despite being the youngest grid. People forget that electricity comes from petroleum products, coal, NG, etc. there’s no amount of solar or wind that could provide power for 25% of earth let alone anything else.
As long as 10% goes to the big guy its all ok. lol Sad how bad things are now.. The corruption and push for EVs while the same people that use our money to subsidize it invest in the right areas to become rich.
I don't understand why more attention is paid to quality plugs (Iridium) and quality wires? They make an enormous difference in power but especially efficiency.

Like others have asked, what mods to get to 501 RWHP? I thought w/ headers cold air and throttle body the most one could get was 460-470 RWHP

What was the round diameter after it was opened up to a bigger diameter?
This would be a question for 1320 junkies. Its mostly about the flow not the size.
The real question is what size throttle body?

Catts don’t add any real power. Full exhaust/headers might add 15-18 hp to the C8. The longer exhaust of the previous models gained more power

Not sure what you are looking at the engine never lost any power through the entire rpm band. And ran a best time of 10.30 1/4 mile!
I think your looking at where I hit the gas at. That will very, you need to look at the top of the graph

There is no need to tune it for the intake, these are wide band cars the o2 will make the corrections.

501rwhp stock? I don't think so. Must be corrected numbers/high reading dyno. These car dyno around 430-440 stock.
