Wow...... Marvelous. All that space, and not sleeping on the ground. Wonderful. ( And i clicked "like" before I even watched it because your videos are always that good.) Living the dream. Enjoy. !!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi. Billy here. Your gonna love you bunk house camper. My preference is the time out camper. But the bunk house is also a quality unit. I have pulled a time out since 1977 or 78. Shure your going to have a bit more weight but if loaded correctly you shouldn't have much more than 20 LPS of of tung weight. Some tips maybe you don't know yet. It's a bit more top heavy , so be careful while making a U turn. Also add a little more stoping distance. Watch how you stop on a down word hill. It will or can drag you backwards. LoL mostly on gravel. Also to change a tire. Don't worry about a jack. Simply bust the lugs loose then drop you tripods on the side of the flat and your camper is off the ground enough to remove you tire. Also you'll find that for some crazy reason while parked people will tend to lean on you trailer. Don't really know why , it just happens. So I always left my bike in gear. Just so it doesn't move. In the old days they would push it off the side stand. Well your Harley side stand shouldn't unlock. Just saying.vnext since your pulling a bit more weight watch how you park. Try and park so you don't have to back up. LoL I'm not sure if the 08 bunk house has led tail lights. If not it's a great investment for safety. Hope I'm not boring you and may be telling you something you already know. But there may be someone else out there that's thinking about getting a camper for there bike. And this information can help them. Best of luck with your adventure. Your friend. Billy.
What I really enjoy about your videos are the way you guys compliment each other when you’re talking. You don’t try to talk over one another. And you seem to really enjoy each other. I like it!
@@TwoWheelsBigLife picking a used one on Saturday, couldn't find info on manufacturer web page. I just want to make sure I can get parts/ canvas before purchasing.
Hey guys, great job on the new rig. The electrical system on my Lumina XL is similar, but I also added a Renogy 20-Amp DC-to-DC converter (so my Harley can charge the batteries), and a NOCO GENIUS 10-Amp Smart Charger to use when I have shore power. My XL has been a running joke to see just how much luxury I can pack on it. I have a true fridge, hot and cold running water, toilet & shower, full-ish kitchen with a beautiful countertop, sink basin, and propane stove, and a complete office with a video studio. I have the same heated blanket you're using (in red), and my dog has his heated blanket, too. It's amazing what you can pack into these things with a little bit of ingenuity. Keep up the great work. I love following what you're doing.
Hi Guys, I don’t know if you thought about having Chris pull the Bushtec for extra storage? I don’t know what the tow capacity is for the Harley but it seems you might be reaching it’s limit. The bunkhouse camper is a great idea and the modifications that you made are fantastic!! Best of Luck!!
It looks very comfortable... and it looks easier to set up then the tent. A heated blanket, LED liighting, maybe a solar fan? You should look into LiFePo4 batteries... they are lighter, carry more capacity, more charge cycles, a superior battery chemistry over a lead acid. Great video... Good to see you guys are still having fun!
You all have motivated me an my girlfriend we are going to go buy a goldwing in a couple weeks an a camper to travel to see more states an it saves so much more money than hotels
Love the bunkhouse trailer . I have one that's a 1998 same color that I bought used in 2008 . it's a fantastic little unit I use every year. I load mine up with all the extras for a home on the road , even an Advanced Elements kayak that stores perfectly across the back in the belly storage. It's a great lifestyle , I envy you two, You have a new subscriber I'll be watching your journey. Great video content.
Thanks Don!! Welcome aboard. Love the kayak idea, but then we'd have to throw something else out to make room. Rich keeps trying to fish and bring home dinner, but he's not having much luck yet. Someday we'll hook up with a fishing expert and get some advice. Rich & Chris

Damn that’s the bomb that tent. It’s been -30 to -40C all week in Alberta Canada. Such a great video! I have yet to do touring and camping by motorcycle but I’ve done 15,000 miles so far by bicycle towing a trailer. Towing a cargo trailer has allowed me to carry a few hundred pounds of gear, it’s really nice when you’re riding across a hot dry desert to be able to carry 4 gallons of water, that’s a luxury most people can’t even imagine traveling on bicycles without Trailers. I’m just so thankful for your Good video and it will make my transition into motorcycling with a trailer that much more a reality. Just found y’all last week, but I’ve already watched all your videos. We’re also from the Dallas area. I’m going Saturday to pick up my 2017 Timeout camper. Due to neck surgery, I can’t do two wheels anymore; so we have a Polaris Slingshot to pull the trailer. We’re looking forward to “Three Wheels Big Life.” You guys are an inspiration and a great source of information.
I spend many years in a Bunkhouse. So glad you have upgraded. A fun and inexpensive way to track places you have been is keychains. I bought souvenir keychains that had rounded edges or rubber ones. I attached them to all of the window zippers so I could grab them and use them as pulls. They were decorative and functional.
Oh my, I’ve been commenting on this type trailer & am soooo excited for you! It’s exactly what I want. My husband wants to tow our cargo trailer w/ bike in it then, set up for a trailer week & bike then move on. I think maybe move on sooner or not backtrack & won’t this! Boon docking easier. Let us know how you like it.
Congratulations! After watching you guys freeze in that snowstorm I thought that was the end of Two Wheels Big Life! lol You two are troopers! I love your videos and enthusiasm! Very nice new setup! Now you can rest well before getting back on those twos!
U found you from Bob Wells. I used to ride, but not anymore. I travel by minivan now, but starting to think of traveling by foot and small airplanes. :)
If your external area was extended by a little over a metre you could install two separate, adjacent cubicles (made of nylon, with zips) and install a shower and a toilet. (The tent entrance is then moved to the side). Before you laugh yourself stupid, my brother did that. The loo is a portable seat with an odor-reducing chemical in a bucket below the seat and the shower is a 20 litre suspended can with a hose/shower head and tap on it. If you wet yourself down briefly, then soap yourself, then rinse quickly, you will have enough water for two people in that can. The water drains thru a hole in a thick plastic sheet on the floor. So digging a very small drainage hole in the corner is all that is required in hot, dry places. My brother also fitted a large battery that was charged by an expansive, unfolding solar panel and this battery supplied power for lights, electronics, including a laptop and a 24-hour fridge (when everything was folded away he connected a wire to fixed solar panels on top of the trailer and so the battery/fridge could be charged and operate while he drove along the road and remain independent of the truck's generator). Admittedly he has a vehicle rather than a bike so he welded a stainless steel dish to the exhaust manifold under the hood, put a chicken and veges in there and after a five hour drive it was cooked to perfection (I know, I tasted it! - fumes kept out by simple pressure-cooker valve). He also made a solar oven with a very basic, unfolding reflector, looked like a windmill unfolding and this cooked a chicken plus veges in 2 hours.
Very nice upgrade and for a used one looks in great shape. You got my brain ticking away already. Nice solar system and kitchen set up. Keep up with the reviews 👍 and thanks for the walk around.

Hey Chris and Rich, hi again from Canada! I hope where you are at this time (Feb 18th) that you are harboured up somewhere warm and cosy. Your home State is in quite a weather and electrical state right now. Hope you two are ok. Take care.
Hi Chris, Hi Rich, I love to watch the change in your way of life and I need to tell you ... I‘m jealous. It‘s sooo wonderful to see how you make it and I thank you so much for sharing. The Bunkhouse rocks. I love the battery and solar setup. And the Bushtec style hitch. Also, the little hanging storage is nice. You guys should enjoy this camper.
Congratulations. We used to have a pop up camper. And loved it. But as we get older and gr. Kids that go camping with us. We upgraded to a 25 foot trailer. I loved our little camper. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we did ours.
I found myself rewatching your videos today. I really miss you guys. I’m still looking for a trailer like this. Unfortunately still no luck finding one.
Definitely better camping conditions. Was thinking a few months back watching a video when y’all were struggling with the rain/water ,how about upgrading to one of those bike campers .You are off the wet/cold ground plus you have a screened porch.
You know about heater safety I am sure but you may get a bunch of warnings from people. Looks nice when you get back up to Oregon let us know so maybe we can visit :)
That is cool and I hope you get to come back through Arizona some time before May ! If you have a chance go through Hatch NM and eat at Sparkys Burgers ! Fun town to check out . Looking forward to your next video .
Nice... Sorry if this has been covered before. But I've seen you talk a few times about oil consumption. I had the same issue. But then found out my 103 had a happy place on the lower end of the oil dipstick that it did not use oil. Also I noticed with synthetic it foamed more toward the upper end of the dipstick. Conventional not so much. Also alot of oil gets sucked into the breather. There's a easy mod to make the heads breath externally. That may help too. Safe travels y'all...
Wonderful! So glad you have a solution that is such and upgrade plus you still are technically roughing it. Please don't take this as a criticism rather simply a question by someone who just wishes to know. but you have invested a bit into solar, I have a battery storage inverter that I charge off my bike when driving. When we get to a campsite I have enough power to charge our phones plus allow for all night lighting along with keeping my laptop fully charged. I am just wondering why solar when you can charge a LIO power pack off your bike as you travel around for the day? Keep in mind I am a weekend camper not full time like you folks.
Omg…you two bring moto camping up to new levels of glamp, love it! That trailer AND heated blanket?? I’m imagining the level of cozy you guys must feel when heading to bed each night.
I follow many campers on youtube. Those with portable heaters recommend having a carbon monoxide detector in the tent when you run heaters. Please be safe out there. Love your vids!
Thanks for bringing that up - it's a great tip. The Mr. Buddy heater does come with a detector installed in it and in addition we have a stand alone carbon monoxide detector that we use as well. Can never be too safe.
Hey guys that rock. Now for the mooshy stuff , I have watched a pile of moto camping vids since the wifie passed away and at 56 im doing a couple of month camping trip on the ole not so harley ideal kinda just because of you two because I think you have the coolest moto camping vlog out there Prob being a sissy but I'm doing it during the nice months on the east coast haha

Hey Chris and Rich, hi again from Canada! I hope where you are at this time (Feb 18th) that you are harboured up somewhere warm and cosy. Your home State is in quite a weather and electrical state right now. Hope you two are ok. Take care.
Thanks Ran - we're doing great and nowhere near all that snow and cold weather.
Hi Chris,
Hi Rich,
I love to watch the change in your way of life and I need to tell you ... I‘m jealous.
It‘s sooo wonderful to see how you make it and I thank you so much for sharing.
Wish you a fantastic time and I wish to meet you on the road ... so god will.
Take care and stay healty. Save rides and happy trails.
Manfred, Germany (but american by heart)
Thanks so much!!
We pulled Bunkhouse with a Honda Goldwing. Biggest trip 11,900 miles in 45 days. 7,200 miles in 42 days.
We love our bunkhouse
Wow such an amazing camper. Very nice.
Thanks
Looks really good folks ! Very cozy lookin , good luck with it , an keep the greasy side down !!!!
Boy oh Boy, you guys are definitely roughing it now 😆. All that equipment appears to add so much weight to what his Harley is having to pull
That is the most impressive set up I have ever seen
The Bunkhouse rocks. I love the battery and solar setup. And the Bushtec style hitch. Also, the little hanging storage is nice. You guys should enjoy this camper.
Yes, we're enjoying the comforts that come with this type of camper for sure!
Congratulations. We used to have a pop up camper. And loved it. But as we get older and gr. Kids that go camping with us. We upgraded to a 25 foot trailer. I loved our little camper. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we did ours.
Game changer right there
She sure is
I found myself rewatching your videos today. I really miss you guys. I’m still looking for a trailer like this. Unfortunately still no luck finding one.
I absolutely love that camper. You are going to be the envy of the park. Thanks for sharing.
Wow your camper came out pretty neat looks like fun
Definitely better camping conditions. Was thinking a few months back watching a video when y’all were struggling with the rain/water ,how about upgrading to one of those bike campers .You are off the wet/cold ground plus you have a screened porch.
Nice is a word under rated these days. Nice, very nice. Nice people. Nice camper.
Genius..Great work
You know about heater safety I am sure but you may get a bunch of warnings from people. Looks nice when you get back up to Oregon let us know so maybe we can visit :)
I’ll be riding from Ca to Florida starting Feb 20. I’ll be cruising through Arizona and New Mexico in I10. Maybe we can get coffee and chat
Great upgrades! You became real experts in moto camping now! Thank you for your videos and the positive vibes!
Glad you like them!
That is cool and I hope you get to come back through Arizona some time before May ! If you have a chance go through Hatch NM and eat at Sparkys Burgers ! Fun town to check out . Looking forward to your next video .
That would be cool!
So much for the camper,Bunkhouse is out of business
Bunkhouse is tried and true! Best wishes, guys! Yeah!
The bomb 💣
Wow that is awesome beyond words. You must fell liberated. 👍🏻❤️
It’s pretty nice. Can’t wait for more adventures
Been waiting for this video .. nice hope it brings you lot of fun & awesome memories. Thank you for the video.
Thanks
I cant wait for this season,,, Be safe
awesome.
Have a sweet dream. Thank;s for sharing.
I own a mini mate and come November I am heading out west. I have 2 heared blankets powered by 12 volts and electric heater that run all night.
I skipped ahead and had to go back. Could not believe all of that setup came out of the camper.
It does it all fits.
I follow many campers on youtube. Those with portable heaters recommend having a carbon monoxide detector in the tent when you run heaters. Please be safe out there. Love your vids!
We live on a sailboat but love following other versions of tiny life!
Thanks for bringing that up - it's a great tip. The Mr. Buddy heater does come with a detector installed in it and in addition we have a stand alone carbon monoxide detector that we use as well. Can never be too safe.
Hey guys that rock. Now for the mooshy stuff , I have watched a pile of moto camping vids since the wifie passed away and at 56 im doing a couple of month camping trip on the ole not so harley ideal kinda just because of you two because I think you have the coolest moto camping vlog out there
Prob being a sissy but I'm doing it during the nice months on the east coast haha
