I towed a Time Out behind a Harley-Davidson and lived on the road from 2014-2018. Coast to coast 4 times, touched every continental State. Saw amazing things. Best time of my life!
I'm getting ready to start my adventure next June. Full time living on my bike/ tent camping for 3 months to start off. I'm so excited. Thank you for inspiration
Robert Wells, commonly known as "Bob", should be given the title of " Goodwill Ambassador". He never expected this channel would grow into something to what it is today. He's made an impact on many people's lives and that's priceless at the end of the day.
It would be fun Bob, if you could find some of these wonderful people you've interviewed (this was 2.5 yrs ago) and see how they're doing now. It would be so interesting to see how they did using your tips and tactics! I'd love that. Anybody else?
Bob, I can't thank you enough for this I have been religiously following your channel the past few months and as a passionate motorcycle rider who wants to transition into nomadic living, this struck a chord in my soul and played sweet music. Thank you so much!!!
Me as well ! I want a Nomad life but will not give up my motorcycle. Not sure a trailer is for me either but definitely something to think about. Thanks Bob .
It's really a tardus: the interior opens into another dimension. But seriously, watch out for wind storms. A friend had his tent destroyed by wind in Death Valley in summer when the wind came up in the afternoon heat.
What a nice man is Kevin and how happy he is on his travels.... He should have his own channel as I think many would be interested to follow him...thanks Bob...great bike and trailer Kevin. Thanks for sharing xxx😀👍
I never knew something like this existed ... amazing! Kevin is living his dream and Bob was instrumental in helping him have a vision ... good for two really nice guys!!!
Whenever I watch a new CheapRVliving video I think there's nothing new, then BOOM, another huge surprise! What a fantastic trailer! When Bob said mansion he meant it: two separate areas, a king-size bed, panoramic windows, lots of storage and height. This is one of my favorite videos...I know I'll say this again soon! lol
When you travel in a car you watch pictures pass by. When you ride a bike you ride in the warmth of the sun and down under the tree canopy into coolness. You smell cut grass, barbeque, pine. Lavender and food cooking, etc. It stimulates all your senses. There is an overwhelming feeling of freedom. Any depression, stress or anxiety disappears as the wind blows through your hair. I have traveled on my Harley Road King with a small tent and slept on a "tanker roll" like I did in the Army but that was nothing like this rig.
I have been camping with a 1989 kompac trailer for the past four years. I just returned from a trip to Key West, rained almost all the time. The camper makes a great place to hang in the rain.
Adventure has no restraints, ingenuity no foe. Cast your line in the current (like this gentleman) and let the winds blow. My shell is now open, my time is sand, sharing freedom through out this great wonderful land. All is good, all is right, bed beneath the universal stars at night.
I just discovered this channel a month ago. My whole life I've dreamed of being outdoors and getting away from 50 hours of work, traffic, and rent. This spoke to me enough to give me that push. Unfortunately, summer is almost over so i may have to wait till next spring but im commited an Cant wait to escape societal pressures to be something im not.
As a full timer motorcyclist (with nomadic dreams), this was an awesome watch for me, thanks Bob for sharing this one, I'd often wondered about those trailers that I see bikes pulling, as always, awesome video! 😁
A great little trailer and would love to see how it folds up and how the bike tows it in real time! Hope Bob will do a part 2 video with this great biker 👏👍
Brother Bob, you did it again, made a very inspiring video! It brings joy to my heart to see both you guy's enjoying one's company so. Keep them coming, Mr. Wells. 💙✌️
Wow this is gonna inspire alot of People as it did me and what were going thru in these times Bob has showed us choices and Thank You so much for being here for all of us Bob.🌸🐯🌸🐯🌸🐯🌸🐯
Yep I agree Kevin needs his own channel. I think watching him travel on his bike and truly camping would be fantastic. I would love to do it if my health would let me. People don't wait til you get sick and old to try and enjoy life. It is too late then believe me.
My first camper was one of these! I pulled it with my Buick Enclave. I especially loved how spacious it was. It was great, however. I'm 5'4" and struggled putting the rods up for the tent part of the camper. The rods had those little buttons you had to push in to extend it or make smaller and it was just not easy, so after awhile I sold it to another person and purchased a TAB 400 teardrop trailer!! I can see why a guy would especially love this little camper. For me, as a woman, I wanted places to hang my clothes and to store things. It's just the greatest camper! Just not right for me at this time of my life. (I'm 71) Did I tell you how much I love my Nucamp TAB 400??
I was a full time bike rider back the 80s. I rode a shaft driven, dual range 10 speed transmission 1982 CB900 Custom Honda, with Hondaline full fairing, luggage rack back rest and saddlebags. I put around 50,000 miles on it over a 4yr span. Always had to sleep in an old A-frame style tent.😁 If I'd had a trailer like this back in the day, there's no telling where I would've wound going with it. Watching this video has caused an awful lot of awesome memories to come flooding back. Thanks for sharing. 🖒🖒
What a wonderful video, Kevin seemed like a wonderful gentleman. Each video of yours I watch makes me believe more and more that this life is possible for me, thank you Bob❤️
update:: we would just like to know if the rider is still on the road,, A where are they now episode....? thanks again Bob for another great informative video the inspiration continues... I just discovered this vid after watching your video about Chris and Richard touring in a motorcycle tent ,then a motorcycle trailer.... thanks again, Robert in Va.
Wow!!!! that is beautiful! How amazing after a nice long ride to just hang out in your own space! I would have liked to see the break down and set up as well. love this!.
This was eye opening. So many ideas! And, thank you for his channel: you are doing a great service to so many people> I am proud of what you have done through all I have watched so far!
We have this - ours is a red body but, same exact pop-up. My husband’s done a ton of camping in it, pulled by a Goldwing. To give himself a bigger living area, he adds an EZ up with removable walls to the front of the pop up, and that really extends that living space. Anyhow, great story, safe travels to you, sir, and shiny side up!
Yes mr Bob is a beautiful kind human being i hope to meet him one day this is the first time ive heard of motorcycle that's pretty cool god bless u both on ur safe travels ty both
Wow, Bob is very engaged in this interview, the most engaged I have seen him, and this bike fella really has his ducks in a row and knows what he likes. Very nice to see. Cheers
Hi all, been riding with a kompac tent trailer for four years and enjoy it. I've gone cross country, the Rockies, smokie mountain's and Key West. I ride a Goldwing 1500 with 35 mpg
I towed a Time Out behind a Harley-Davidson and lived on the road from 2014-2018. Coast to coast 4 times, touched every continental State. Saw amazing things. Best time of my life!
I have the timeout....just getting started with it....think I'm gonna love it
Brian Reid hopefully you’ll enjoy it! Not the fastest setup, but completely off the ground. I needed a step stool to easily get in and out lol.

I just watch for Cody--jk THANK YOU, BOB!🏕🏍🛣
Here Here
So true 👍 I’m from Denmark 🇩🇰 and I love watching his videos. I’m inspired
Bob and his message offer so much hope and that banishes fear. I agree.
It would be fun Bob, if you could find some of these wonderful people you've interviewed (this was 2.5 yrs ago) and see how they're doing now. It would be so interesting to see how they did using your tips and tactics! I'd love that. Anybody else?
I am someone who has had a motorcycle in the past, and I had a very modest tube tent for shelter. This rig is like staying in A luxury hotel!
Sweet!!!!!! "He who dies with the most memories wins..."
Brilliantly put
I need that shirt
"He who dies w the most memories wins." Good one!
But you have no memories once you pass?
Bradford Palmer if you can remember them!
Of course, this is a twist on the old line; "he who dies with the most toys wins", but you can be a slave to your possessions - I prefer freedom!
"He who dies with the most toys - dies broke" ...me
Semper Fi
Am writing that on my vision board
Did not expect such a nice set-up. And so much space!
When he pulled back that tie-die tapestry to reveal his bed I was like "wow, he has a good amount of space there."
@@TucciDaGucci I know, right. My mouth dropped open!
Blown away how much room was in that pop-up tent. I never would have guessed that by looking at it from the outside.
Happy travels nomads!
It's really a tardus: the interior opens into another dimension. But seriously, watch out for wind storms. A friend had his tent destroyed by wind in Death Valley in summer when the wind came up in the afternoon heat.
Coolest lol motorcycle tent / trailer ever, This guy has got it made Living Life to the fullest!👍♥️👍
What a nice man is Kevin and how happy he is on his travels.... He should have his own channel as I think many would be interested to follow him...thanks Bob...great bike and trailer Kevin. Thanks for sharing xxx😀👍
Monnie Garland
Good point. And he could make some extra UA-cam money. I’d watch! 😁
I really enjoyed seeing Kevin talk about his motorcycle and popup tent. That tent is amazing. Wish Kevin had his own channel
He's also very handsome right ?
Indeed, he seems so calm and serene, amazing!

That is a pretty amazing design. Thanks for showing it.
This guy is so rad, he seems like such a genuine soul!

Wow, for so many reasons. Such a handsome man, Kevin. Robert Goulet-like handsome.
I agree - I was also thinking this is what Robert Crane (of Hogan's Hero's) would like if he had lived past 50.
Tall drink of water!!!
Absolutely!!! A tall drink of water!!!
Thank you, Bob. You're an inspiration *and* a great source of education. 🌸🐯
Amazing setup! And really sweet gentleman. Thanks, Bob!

Great interview with an excellent concept. Thank you both.
