Well..... thankfully, I didn't get to this video until Saturday evening. Soooo.... I won't have to wait too long. I sincerely hope it's nothing serious. Continued safe travels !!!
Enjoy your videos. Our shower bag is a dry bag with the shower hose and nozzle on the bottom. That way if I want a shower at midnight I put the water in, boil some water and add it to the proper temperature. No leaving in the sun and waiting for the heat or not showering on a cloudy day.
Motorcycles are very personal extensions of the rider to a great many motorcyclists. Especially one on which you have enjoyed a lot of travel and adventure. So I get it that losing a bike in the middle of a long trip is something of an emotional setback. Not to mention that unless you are very lucky with the replacement, you will have to fit the bike to you so that you can comfortably ride long distances on it. I’m anxious to hear the tale and learn what the resolution is going to be. Best of luck finding an affordable and suitable replacement that speaks to you!
Oh so beautiful! Glad you found the lovely water to hang at. Awesome to meet up and go kayaking. Beautiful again. Doesn't get much better for sure. Those wild horses...something to so look forward to! Thanks for the hike to ruins. Awesome! You are rocking the pony tail Chris...from your hair guru..lol! Thinking Rich could grow his and braid it. It's the awkward time you have to go through. Hmmmm....whaaaat? You got us wondering big time on bike...... Were like she could ride behind Chris ...not. Be watching next weekend for some hopefully good news.
Oh so sorry to hear about your bike's misfortune Chris :( ..so many memories..can't wait to see your new ride complete with all its own set of journey's and memories!! Keep on..keeping on 'guys'..Cheers!

There are so many fantastic rides in AZ. Roosevelt Lake Dam used to be a favorite ride for us. You can go around the dam and down the hill on Highway 88. Fantastic ride to Tortilla Flats (great history here). Go past Tortilla Flats and it is a very windy road that goes down to the Lost Dutchman Mine State park and then to Apache Junction.

@@TwoWheelsBigLife I would go for a Honda ST1100 but I’m very biased on that model. ;). If Chris is in the position to replace her bike with close to what she had, the FJR is my suggestion. Having said that, the two of you will have figured it out and know what is best for your needs. Sunday isn’t too far off, and I will admit very curious to what actually happened and what the solution is. Cheers.
Hey Chris, That pounding noise you mentioned that you didn't know what it was. Is a Tin beaked woodpecker. Common to the southwest they only forage for food on or near metal post and feed primarily on ants and small insects. Their favorite nesting place is campers pulled by old farts on Harley's. ( I'm not saying Richard is an old fart or anything like that. BUT! he dose ride a Harley and he dose pull a camper.. hahaha.) Sorry to hear about your lose Chris. I know when I wrecked my big touring bike I spend about three years trying to decide what I wanted from my next bike and what I wanted to do with it. Which is why I choose my 2011 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive. fully automatic 6 speed on the fly gear box. 56 liter storage under the seat, three deep clove boxes, same wheel base as a Harley 883 wind screen that slide up and down a the touch of a button, Mirrors to. 4 gallon gas tank in the rear. full fairing. and thanks to the all gear final drive it will not only keep up with Richards bike. from a dead start it will out run his Harley for about the first 20 feet. While the burgman 650 executive is listed as a scooter its anything but. it's more like a scooter on steroids.
Wow that left me opened mouthed and praying things get sorted out for you guys. I do not know what i would do if your adventures came to an end. I sincerely wish you guys all the luck and now all i am doing is waiting impatiently for the next episode. i do hope you get it sorted.
