I doubt we'll see a remake of the original Paper Mario, since it's already easily accessible via NSO, but I could absolutely see Super getting the remake treatment if the TTYD remake sells well, since copies of it for Wii are long-since out of print and the Wii U's eShop (where it was available alongside a few other Wii games like Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 and Metroid Prime Trilogy) is dead and gone.

the most interesting change about ch 2's bomb is that in the original, if you let the bomb go off right as Lord Crump's about to turn the timer off it just pauses right there as the bomb goes off, makin it funny. but in the remake, Lord Crump very pleasantly, surprisingly actually gets an animation of flailing his arms around if you let the bomb go off right as he's about to shut it off, this's a very neat and unexpected change. this's deff important to show off if all da game-overs are ever compiled Ch. 1's Spike room is actually scarier too cuz it waits before the plunge in the last few seconds instead of plunging all the way 🤔

The only game over ive gotten so far is from the diary game over. (I am at post game rn) I got too curious so i saved the game, and opened the book. Lets just say i found out real quick why that was a bad idea.
I think it overrides the emblems, at least a little. I messed around and I couldn’t really notice anything different between wearing and not wearing them.
There are still other game over scenes probably secret ones especially the lottery tickets if you caught cheating and having superguard move that are not programmed to be superguarded

I know this might sound crazy, but it would be cool to see a game where Mario gets possessed and kidnaps Rosilina and takes over Bowser's castle and Ligi and the good guys must work with Bowser and the bad guys to defeat Mario.
