When the control arms where silver where those the first ones also what’s the ball joint part #s for 17 Chevy single cab stamped control arms
So I saw you have a spacer on the front arms, I’m assuming that’s where you can either get a 4” or 5” drop in the front? For a 5” drop you just put that spacer under the arm correct?
How do you replace the front stuts after this kit is installed?
I tried the conventional way buy trying to pull them through the upper control arm and lower control arm with no luck...just a littlr too tight to get it out.
Installed this on my 4x4 very easy to do on ground!
Did you have any issues like with the spindles? And how low did you go? I want to do the same to my 4x4

Just installed this kit on a 2016 4wd. It went smooth but the inner tie rods ran out of adjustment and needed to be trimmed shorter to get the toe set correctly.
We’re you a Able to get your alignment done?
@@guadalupeacevedo7236 Kinda. Camber can be set, Toe maxes out so you cut the tie rods down then you can set it. But the front alignment bolt maxes out so you cannot get Caster in range.

The way that you drilled the upper spindle for the upper control arm can that be done to the bottom of the spindle as well for the lower control arm ball joint ?
No just the top gets drilled out.

I have that same truck and the same kit you got there..! but I accidentally ordered aluminum/stamped and my truck has cast... can I just switch the upper ball joint to fit my spindle..?

What’s the point of removing the strut why didn’t you just take off the 2 bottom bolts?
So question, no spacer on the bottom of the strut gives me the 4” drop? and adding the spacer gives me a 5” drop?
I know this comment was over a year ago but using the spacer gives you a 4” drop and no spacer gives you a 5” drop. The spacer in effectively pushes your lower control arm further towards the ground giving you more height and without the spacer the control arm is higher towards the body giving you less height.
How i know what kind of control arm my truck have?

Are the control arms narrowed a bit to tuck rim ? I have a 94 c1500 and the driver side sticks out more than my passenger.
Our 88-98 control arms are a little shorter than than stock. About 3/4 of an inch.
If i want to do a 4/6 drop on my 2012 silverado 2wd do i need a c-notch?

Mine too. I have the short gold ones. Had a hard time getting them on but it worked out.

2014 silverado 2wd single cab. you have a 4/6 and a 5/7 kit on your website. It shows the same parts. what the difference
On the 4/6 kit i believe you get 1" lifting shackles for the rear and the control arm can be adjusted to 4" by moving 2 ihc spacers under the strut and lower control arms

The 3 inch arms, all it is. Is the lower control arms install.
My control arms nor my ball joints came with the nipples installed 🤦🏻♂️ i realized it when i was ready to grease them

No sir, we do not include u bolts. We use the factory u bolts, with our kit.

Just do it your self. Not worth the trip. Very easy if you follow this video. I did it in 1 day I never done this before. Great tutorial video

I have the kit installed on my 2016 Chevy Silverado crew cab, but the driver side control arms have been squeaking lately and I checked them and there fine not rips or nothing idk if it’s cuz the bushings are new but has anyone else had this problem?
I have a buddy having this problem, we haven’t figured it out yet, I’ll get back to you tomorrow with mor discovery!

do the spacers that come with the kit is it to make it drop an inch more or drops it more?
You can go either way putting everything the kit comes with to make it a 4/6 or no spacer and factory hanger to make it a 5/7.

With the spacer in, its 4" drop.
