I WATCHED THIS MOVIE FOR A WHOLE YEAR SUMMER OF 2005 ON MY PSP ... MAN THOSE WAS THE GOOD TIMES
Broooo you literally read my mind, I watched this on my psp as a kid and it never left my mind
🐐
Same😂🤟
Same!!!
I see your a man of culture
Ever since I got this movie as a PSP bundle back more then 10+ years ago I loved it. One of my top faves.
I was thinking where did I see this movie so much until you reminded of all the car trips just watching it on my psp
Same here!!
Facts!!!!!!!!
I was just thinking how I've probably watched it over 100 times on my PSP because we didn't really have anything else to do on road trips lol
Childhood memory unlocked
Criminally underrated movie
What are you talking about everyone talks about this movie...
@@DiegoRomer0 yeah i do i still watch it man
I actually don’t think this is underrated. I just think that when you find someone who ranks it as their best movie, you have found love
So true!!!!!
I don’t know a single soul that also seen this movie
I watched this movie when I was like 5 year olds, I can still vividly remember it sparking my love for skateboarding.
Viva la Bam, PSP, Tony Hawks Underground 2, punkrock, this movie... man the year 2005 was awesome. I wanna revive this.
Gas was high, but the Mcds dollar menu took everyone home! Lil Wayne would make his re-debut, then later that year Katrina would hit the N.O. area. Snap music was thriving and Rock had a new sound.
YESSSSSSSSSS
This and mid90’s give me great vibes of the carefree world being at your fingertips as a child
I hear you brother
this movie doesn't get the recognition it deserves man.
Especially since this is the only movie made by both Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures!
Good under the radar movie. A Ledger performance bout as great as his Joker. Cool that it's a true story and has an equally good documentary.
I don't skate but I snowboard and I can appreciate this 100%. Great movie.
Favorite movie of all time, just got done rewatching it.
I was a kid during this time, skateboarded everywhere in bare feet in summertime, constantly read SkateBoarder magazine and would always thumb through the adds for all the different kinds of skateboards and parts that were dispersed in between articles and photos. It was an exciting time for the sport, I got the classic Alva board with tracker trucks and red Kriptonic wheels. What more could a kid want.
I use to watch this movie back to back on my PSP, very underrated movie
I don’t care if you do or don’t like skateboarding this movie is freaking awesome!!!!
Probably the best film from my middle school days.come home watch it and go skate lol
I watched this movie on my Playstation Station Portable (PSP) in 2006, and it was such a good movie. Now I shall rewatch this movie as soon as possible. 😁
Dope!! The movie and the documentary are worth watching.
Cool bro as soon as I find them on DVD's as soon I will watch them, looks quite interesting to watch.
I've seen this movie over 100 times on my PSP as a kid, yet somehow never realized Heath Ledger was in it. I think I'm conditioned by his accent in A Knights Tale and as the Joker. Man had such range.
Heath ledgers performance as skip was incredible.
He was incredible
And I thought I was the only one who watched this on the PSP😂😂I'm so glad others had the same childhood experiences
I had to get this movie as the extended version when it came out on DVD, still own and love it!!!
I saw this on Netflix back in 2015 and it was an awesome film!
Love this movie.
Its summer 05 and you got your brand new psp and got this movie on repeat!!! Life was good then...
Once i heard greenday playing i got smacked with middle school nostalgia..lol
Best skateboarding movie by far. Yet I am more surprise that Johnny Kncoksville is in it.
Knoxville, you mean..?
Watch Skate kitchen
love this movie ...... watch it 22 times already
So I guess this was an epic movie we all missed to see until now!
Speak for yourself, poopdick
I can't believe this is the only movie that Columbia and TriStar collaborate together! We'll never get to see them together again in future films like that!
Why?
Heath ledger destroys the role of skip..with delicious relish !! Up there with the joker... fake teeth and extensions and All...excellent performance!!!
I started skateboarding in the 70s because of Tony Alba and Stacy Peralta. I still have issues of Skateboarder magazine with all the Z boys. Had a freaking subscription. I wish I kept them all.
One of my all time faaavs
Legendary movie!!!!
Great movie I have to rewatch soon! :))
every time i see this trailer i put a big smile
Love the film
Amazing movie
I watched this over and over on my psp
This came with PSP and I loved it!
The only movie produced by Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures at the same time.
IKR
This movie always seemed like a salty shade thrown at Alva hahaah
My favorite movie
I watched this movie almost 15 years ago with my uncle actual banger and so sad at times
Awesome movie ❤️
If I had to choose between Grind and Lords Of Dogtown…I’d choose Lords Of Dogtown…It’s a crime how underrated this movie is…I was 14 when this movie dropped, 16 years ago…
just watched this movie it was so good I loved it sm this would be an a24 movie today
Will watch it. Thrashin' is still the coolest skate movie ever.
Fun Fact: This movie was co-distributed by Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures and it is the first (and so far only) film to be released by both Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures which are both trademarked by Sony Pictures Entertainment and are sometimes referred to as Columbia TriStar Pictures.
Un classic ! Heath Ledger il defonce dans ce film
great video would you let that boy grow up great video
Surf's up man yeah 😄👏
Will forever be on my top ten list
This was sooo long ago but I used to watch it on the psp of my oldest cousin🍵🌆
This would never get made today unfornately.
Lords of Dogtown
A drought in 1970s Southern California has an unexpected side effect: as people empty their swimming pools, a group of teen surfers from the Dogtown area of Venice Beach move in with skateboards, and a new sport is born. Based on a true story, this film follows "Z-Boys" skate team members Stacy Peralta (John Robinson), Tony Alva (Victor Rasuk) and Jay Adams (Emile Hirsch), plus manager Skip Engblom (Heath Ledger), as their fearless "pool surfing" leads to fame, fortune -- and misfortune.
I love love LOVVVEEEE me some skaters and surfers
PSP DAYS damn i'm getting old lol
Apparently this movie was filmed at the school I’m going to
0:11 James Gang's Funk Number 49.
These guys look radical
The edit for Boulevard of Broken Dreams is so beautiful in this trailer.
LoD is a favourite of Tarantino’s. His revival movie house New Beverly Cinema is screening a 35mm print of it on 4/23-24/2024.
Чуваки! Hey from Russia! Love you!
mid90s before mid90s
My older brother bought me a PSP and this movie came bundled with it 🔥 great memories
RIP HEATH
Just make sure you watch the movie BEFORE you watch the doc, because the doc is much deeper. Of course the Hollywood movie can only go so far.
The trailer gets serious after the song
The fact that this movie was on the psp means that MORE SONY MOVIES HAVE TO BE ON PLAYSTATION CONSOLES
Every time I watch this, I get the urge to grab my old Natas and go ollie everything in sight.
henlo copper
First song I forget the name
James Gang, Funk #49

Does anyone else remember it being spelled with a Z?

I hate how people think mid 90s is the only good skate movie..
Lol
u had NWA and then u had these guys
Not underrated.Cult Classic,like kids,half baked,and many more
Z boys Babby 😵😵😵😵
Nah.
Pretty good movie if Heap Leper hadn't put his Jim Morrison wanna be face in it. Such a dork.
I dunno. It was hard to like this movie. It seems like an eliteist's guidebook to look down others who weren't doing your 'thing' and how to be unbelievably self-centered for "some" characters in the movie. I mean, the story was good but it seemed like they could be insanely huge douchebags (which a lot of skateboarders i know were, not all). I was growing up in the time period but i didn't act like that with my friends. And we weren't saints, we got into some minor trouble but it seems like Skip's idea of "being a pirate" meant being a @#$% that looked down on people who don't act like you.....
nuff said?
Yet, based on a true story!!
Mid 90’s better 🥱🥱🥱
many blond and white guys ...where is the latino guy? the afro guy?
Or just it´s a film made for white people?
Got a problem with white people?
WTF are you talking about? Alva and Peralta were Mexican-American. One of the dumbest comments I've ever seen on the internet.
lol a Latino guy is one of the main characters, stfu
One of the main characters is literally Latino dummy.
It's not a fictional story. It's based on real people and real events in California during the 1970s. And they happened to be mostly white.
C'è anche l'attore che intrerpretò Elephant di Gus Van Sant
