    These women are so mature and well spoken. They all seem like amazing moms.

      If you’re a mature woman, you wouldn’t have had a child underage.

    "discipline doesn't have to involved punishment all the time especially physical punishment." well said.

      Why did I read this right when she said it ? Weird

    The only times I do agree on physical punishment is when it's a simple slap on the wirst. Like the kids about to touch something that could harm them then a small slap on the wirst is way more effective than telling them to not or yelling at them.

    Wait, 'Maddie' says that the childs father is an amazing father but the reason it isn't equal custody is that 'it is a hassle to work everything out'.
    That seems weird to me

      he was not around the first few months i believe (this was in the first video years ago) so it makes sense she had full custody

      For real though. She’s got a great outlook on things and I found myself agreeing with her the most (I’m a guy so my opinion doesn’t necessarily matter in this). But she seems very level headed.

    I thought more would be jealous but I guess they will realise latter on that teen peranting comes with great loneliness down the line. When your friends start getting married left and right getting kids hanging out will become impossible, finding a partner will be much much harder. Not to mention that the risks to your body when giving birth as a teen is somewhat high so having another might be impossible.

      I mean I don’t she meant all, but you have to admit a very large amount of younger people are not stable. They are living at home or working more unreliable jobs. They often times don’t have a lot of money which creates more financial stress. And I think there are a lot of us who don’t feel stable mentally as well. So I think it is fair to say you may be more unstable as a younger person compared to an older person who has more time to become stable. But that doesn’t mean it’s always the truth.

    When a 17-18 year old steals from a store a cop isn’t going to say “I’m sorry you felt you needed to steal” they are going to handcuff them a take them to prison. I don’t think you should spank a young child under 5 years old. I think I that as the age to teach them right and use time out. After 5 years old if they still do bad things such as disrespect then I think they need to be put in their place. I’m 16 and I grew up that way and I’d say I turned out quite well.

    Personally I think discipline depends on the child and what done. There other factors that play into it like time, support unit, culture and lifestyle. People forget that there parents are only human and was using the resources that they had available at the time. The internet has helped people gain access to so much information, allowing people to find what works for them. I do feel bad how people look down at people who don’t use the method that they believe is right. And not every discipline method works for every child. People being disciplined with some of the new methods that they interpreted wrong and they are stressed out parents with bratty kids.

      Maddie says that it might be OK to spank your child if they're doing something really dangerous, like running into the street, although I would say in that situation you should quickly pull on your child's arm to get them out of the street, and have a talk with them afterwards about why that was dangerous.

  • @LittleMsShine
    @LittleMsShine 2 роки тому +27

    Connecting with your child emotionally after spanking them is worse because you’re teaching them to accept gaslighting. You were angry and you hit someone and that’s never ok

    • @willwagner3675
      @willwagner3675 2 роки тому +1

      I don't because you need to teach them punishment\discipline and you do it lovingly not spanking them out of anger. You do it cause they need to learn that actions hive consequences, whether its physical discipline or taking away privileges. Then the talk after that you help them understand why you had to discipline them and what they should have done better

    Being a teenage mother also has physical benefits such as a chance for a healthier baby and the mother doesn't experience pains in the lower back, the mother also heals and/or goes back to there original body a lot faster than if they were in their mid-thirties
