Thanks for this tutorial! I was looking for another way to close the cat beanie without using the yarn needle and your method worked so well and looks really seamless.
Not me using paper clips and safety pins for stitch markers😂😂Anyways, this tutorial really helped!I have a friend whose birthday is tomorrow and I managed to make two beanies for her because this tutorial was so quick!thank you!❤
Thank you so much for your tutorials, i made this along with your other beanie and they turned out PERFECT!!! 😊 It's the first time I've made these and I can't thank you enough for your slow explanations, so easy to follow as I have difficulty concentrating. Looking forward to more videos!
I'm a crochet newbie, only made a scarf prior to this cat beanie. This video was super easy to follow and it turned out perfectly! Thanks for creating and sharing this tutorial 😻
it turned out really nicely! i used up some random yarn i found, but it was a really ugly neong green colour, so I'll buy some new yarn and make it again! the tutorial was really easy, but it did take me some time as the wool was too chunky. i think i spent about 2 hours(?) on this project, so i count it as a success
I was looking around to find a tutorial on this, and this is the best one yet! I cant thank you enough for this. I just finished my first hat with this tutorial and i am super happy with the results ❤❤
omg i was having so much trouble with this project at first but your video was so simple and informative i finally got it and my hat turned out great!! ill definitely try out another one of your tutorials one of these days
thank you! I've been struggling with how to make one of these and this tutorial made it so much easier, the beanie I'm currently working on is looking great and I learned some new things along the way thanks to you 🫶
i have a question, if i half double crochet the 2nd stitch, will the first stitch be gone to yarn over? Like if i do the 2nd stitch when i have already done the first stitch would i not be able to see the 1st stitch in the line? Im sorry if that doesnt make any sense-
It’s a discontinued yarn from Joann’s I think it was lion brand I bought a few years ago. However the type of texture is called ‘Boucle yarn’. Some other brands carry this type of yarn. Hope this helps!
Hi! I started on this a few hours ago so I only have a few rows, but I'm starting to notice that its just making a bigger circle instead of going straight like yours did. Is there something I did wrong or a step I missed? I'm a beginner.
Does the first half double crochet stitch go into the same end stitch you put the slip knot into or the stitch after. I started with 73 stitches in my foundation chain and somehow ended up with like 84 by my 5th round… so confused how that happened
I was wondering do you have to use the double stitch? I hold my needle and yarn all in my right hand and it makes it really hard to do. so can I use the single stitch and still get the same results?
Absolutely I think it’ll look the same. My single crochets are slightly smaller/less ‘tall’ than the half double so I would just add more rows of single crochet if that’s makes sense!
Mine goes wonky like it's not a circle it has a like when it's not right I don't know how to explain but when I crochet it together it's fine then after the second row it goes wrong
She explains how to prevent that from 2:30 to 2:50 in the video. Basically, when you are working into the foundation chain, make sure that the chains are all facing the same way before slip stitching to create the circle. This will prevent your work from twisting. :) hope this helps
My only issue was that the back of my work fold up and even it flipped inside out it was the same so I was not able to make this hat anyone can please tell me what I did wrong?
I cant do this and I probably can never I’m a horible crocheter I’ll never be as good as all of you I’m crying because of how bad I am I hate my project I teared it apart
this the only cat beanie tutorial that actually helped me😭 thank you!

The moment I saw the cat in frame, I knew a panic would ensue!
Frr
Having a cat while also learning hobbies that involve strings is a test of emotional fortitude
you have the easiest tutorials to follow
I've tried and tried and still don't understand this tutorial. As simple as it is it makes no sense to me.
its easier to just combine 2 rectangles together

Hi would you do a tutorial on how to make one with two or colours?
Hello 👋, thank you 🙏 for your time and information. Question, why didn’t u show how to add the ears? The most important part.
Ears are included in tutorial, it is no added element. The ears take shape when the square beanie is placed on head 👍
omg i was having so much trouble with this project at first but your video was so simple and informative i finally got it and my hat turned out great!! ill definitely try out another one of your tutorials one of these days
Im 11 and this is really easy actually this is my first time making this so it didnt tuned out as good as yours but its still so cute!
I've been looking for a tutorial on how to make this hat yours was perfect thank you
I made one and it’s soooo cute ❤❤❤
i just finished my first ever crochet project and im so happy with the results!!! thank you so so much!! you just earned a new subscriber!!
what brand of plushy yarn did you use?? i love the way that one looks!
I think she had said acrylic yarn 🧶
How much yarn did you use?
...a lot, it hurts
hi how long is the beanie height? im planning to make this but with a thicker yarn
I think it just depends on how long you want your beanie to be
me: I SUFFER MY HANDS AHSHSBSBS
Also me: Im making two for my bestie and me :)
thank you! I've been struggling with how to make one of these and this tutorial made it so much easier, the beanie I'm currently working on is looking great and I learned some new things along the way thanks to you 🫶
How much yarn is required to make this?

How is the white thread from the white beanie called? I want to find and buy some.

@@MindfulKnots yes, thanks! I will look for it.

i have the same issue 😭
Bro has big muscles🤩
THANK YOU SOOSOSOOSOSOSOS MUCH!
Hi! How many rows is that? Thank you!!
She said she did around 25 i think!
Confused why you need the stitch marker?
Thank u so much I'm happy with your work ❤❤
how long did it take
Is it okay if I use a crochet hook which size is 4.0 mm?
👍 yes!
What kind of crochet/stitches is required?
she says in the vid
She says that she's using half double crotchet, but I'm seeing double crotches all around
Question the stitch marker for me keeps moving backwards around the work, with every row away from the original starting passion is this normal?
Does the first half double crochet stitch go into the same end stitch you put the slip knot into or the stitch after. I started with 73 stitches in my foundation chain and somehow ended up with like 84 by my 5th round… so confused how that happened
you probably crocheted in the same stitch a couple of times
I was wondering do you have to use the double stitch? I hold my needle and yarn all in my right hand and it makes it really hard to do. so can I use the single stitch and still get the same results?

@@MindfulKnots that makes sense 😊 thank you very much for helping.
How many grams of yarn is needed for this hat? I just ordered 100g and not sure if it’ll be enough
5:35 just to remember when i finished

Do I chain up one for each row?
Thank you for the tutorial. I wanted to ask how do we do that embroidery thing you talk about, to emphasize the ears a little more? Thanks in advance.
I will make a part two soon!
TYSMM IT WORKEDD
How to measure the size tho
perfect tutorial thank you
Mine goes wonky like it's not a circle it has a like when it's not right I don't know how to explain but when I crochet it together it's fine then after the second row it goes wrong
i did. this but on my second try i couldn’t get the chain to stop twisting
Can someone help because my hat is slowly becoming tighter and tighter as I crochet
My 2nd layer was straight but on my forth and 3th it was wrinkly did I do sm wrong?
Maybe you added too many stitches? Or just work a few more rows and it’ll straighten itself out. Hope this helps! 😁
@MindfulKnots too late I opened it should I try again
What the msterial name
Why when I do it it comes out sideways. Like twisted. I only did two rows
She explains how to prevent that from 2:30 to 2:50 in the video. Basically, when you are working into the foundation chain, make sure that the chains are all facing the same way before slip stitching to create the circle.

My only issue was that the back of my work fold up and even it flipped inside out it was the same so I was not able to make this hat anyone can please tell me what I did wrong?
That's what happened to me
It is great but the end part can't I just sew that part to take it faster work smarter not harder and I am a beginner and even I know this no offence

Im still confused
No offense but isnt it just easier to put two rectangles togeather
Js a little thing 4 me 2 remember pls ignore
