Started crochet at the end of August, saw your tutorial for the ribbed beanie with the mostly half doubles, and have since made about a dozen. Picked up a single stitch, made my cat a bed, or was bullied into it as that was about 1/3 a way into what was supposed to be a blanket. Will likely switch and try this pattern next. Been struggling a whole lot with existing, due to internal and external things for awhile, but your tutorials have been very helpful in keeping me focused on something decent. Hope you and yours are well, kindest regards possible from some random guy a yt comments section
I am a long time crocheter but your tutorials have taught me quite a few things. I am busy making beanies for Christmas presents using your patterns. Thank you so much. I would love to know how to make Pom poms to add to the hats. Mine are disasters!
Hi Viv: What a wonderful tutorial! Such clear instructions and your voice is so soothing. Your nails are gorgeous, by the way. Looking forward to seeing more. New subscriber. 💜😎🇺🇸
I made a checkered scarf for my girlfriend when we first met a year ago. Im going to giver her this beanie for a matching set on xmas. Also what a great tutorial, very informative. Thanks for the time stamps. It will make coming back and looking things up more helpful. Do we hcarryo carry over the colour? I usually slip knot and cut it and then tie it back in later so i dont have the seems
I loved this tutorial Although the 1st time around it ended up being to small since I myself messed up but my cat now has a warm beanie 😂 I did infact make an adult size one so we match ❤
Does the chain two count as a stitch? When I reach 20 stitches on round 2 there seems to be a single extra stitch leftover and I was wondering if you have any insight on what I need to correct. On another note, I made your ribbed beanie pattern recently and it turned out great!
Great tutorial! I’ve been following your beanie and skin care headband tutorials for many gifts to friends. Would you recommend this pattern (starting in a round) to be easier than your other beanie tutorials (rectangle, then slip stitch)?
Look at your chains from the front to see the sideways V, then flip it to the back to see the straight lines going across the back of each V. You can also search up “crochet chain back bump”
Hi Viv! I'm newly addicted to crochet and your tutorials have been my favorite ☺️ I will definitely be trying this beanie next! I was curious if you happen to know about how many inches across your circle is at the 6th round? I have a bulky yarn that I'm thinking of using for this one but have a feeling it may be a bit bigger if i do the same amount of rounds. I can always test it out as I go though, so either way I'm looking forward to making this one! ❤️

The chain two (your turning stitch) does count as a stitch !
@ Thanks!
Great video 💜
Do you have scarves tutorials?
I have a heart granny square scarf and I’m posting a hooded scarf tutorial soon!
Love it❤😊
Pls try cardigan for the next video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Will do one soon!
Great tutorial! I’ve been following your beanie and skin care headband tutorials for many gifts to friends. Would you recommend this pattern (starting in a round) to be easier than your other beanie tutorials (rectangle, then slip stitch)?
Thank you! I would say the rectangle is easier than working in the round for most beginners!
Could you please knit a pair of fingerless gloves for winter?
Did you use all those yarn for that beanie?
No, I used about 70 grams total!
I’m about 5 minutes in, when I try to pull the tail tight it doesn’t pull the way it should and I can’t figure out where I went wrong 😵💫
for the first part i don't have a loop in the back...and i followed it 7 times over and over XD

Are you able to do a Chowder beanie tutorial?
I will probably not be doing one, but I have a sack hat tutorial that you might find useful!
@ Completely missed that, thanks for directing me to that, I’ll check it out!
