I’m very new to crochet, can just about make a granny square haha but I’m gonna try this! I’ll update you throughout my process! Edit: UPDATE 1: after two failed attempts (and using the wrong-sized hook) I’m finally getting somewhere! I’ve completed around a fifth of the entire thing in the past twenty four hours! Proud of myself as this is my first ever project! UPDATE 2: after two attempts, I finished it yesterday!! looks amazing and I'm so happy!
@@party_cat772 that’s so interesting, granny squares are also how i learned to crochet and a lot of other people i know. they’re insanely easy, especially if you have as much experience as you do! i definitely recommend!
hey, i think the creator isn't gonna reply so maybe u know it. I'm trying to do this hat and instead of 17 I had to made like 50 so it completely goes around my head. Is there anything wrong? I'm using an other yarn sooo
@@teawithsugar490 if you’re using smaller yarn or a smaller hook, along with probably having a different head size than the creator, then it will take more stitches! just try it on as you go to check if it fits.

Doing this right now. For now, I haven't made any mistakes. Maybe this will be my first crochet project without fails. This beanie will be a gift for my bestie. I'll keep y'all updated on how it turned out. Update: It turned out fantastic!! My bestie likes it. Thank you for the tut! uwu
i’m doing mine for bestie’s birthday lol!! i haven’t started bc i haven’t got any yarn yet, but i hope mine turns out good!! i’m glad your friend liked it too!
I didn’t notice that mine was twisted when I finished the first row of double crochets so I had to start all over again and it twisted again on my next try without me noticing. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
I'm currently trying this rn and the all hard part for me so far was just the connecting part of the single strip!! all of the other parts your explanation made it easy to understand thank you sm!
my first ever project as a beginner! i only knew how to do a chain and a row and i loved how you showed to do each stitch and everything, definitely beginner friendly! i'll update you guys on how it's going tbh with you guys i'm not gonna update it ever i'm sorry to disappoint
Tysm for this video! I’m a beginner to crocheting and I wanted to make a cat beanie. I did pretty well but when it got to the end I didn’t know what to do, so I watched this video and you were amazing at explaining! Now I know what to do so thank you! ❤

hii thank you so much for this tutorial!! as a beginner myself, this took me around 2 days to create. It looks perfect although I still need a bit of practice on tucking in the extra wool. Thank you so much!!

This is my first ever project after getting some crochet materials for christmas and through a lot of patience and 2 days of work I finally got it done! Thank you so much for this tutorial, it was so easy to follow and I absolutely love the end product 🫶🏻
I had to sew it up a few times because I have three diff colors and some of the stitches busted but im almost done and so happy with the outcome as of now
just a tip since the loose ends seemed to be bothersome, instead of cutting the yarn to change colours just slipstitch the other colour at the end and keep them both attached
Good tutorial for beginners I had a lot of fun making this. It’s easy for young people (I’m saying this as a 11-15 year old) I have only done the first row so far I’m having a bit of trouble with the second row but I’ll get the hang of it. Any tips to make the second row easier? If so please tell me them it’s hard for me to get the hang of the double crochet stitch. It’s a great tutorial! it’s just me that’s making it hard lol.

I've been making this cat beanie for a few days now and it looks soo good! But I just realised I've slip-stitched it wrong so I have to start over, oh well. Thanks for the tutorial!
I started crocheting not long ago, meaning I’m a beginner. I’ve failed multiple times and took me very long time to get to the 4th row. I’ll update when I finish which will be in months. Update 31st January: Each row, they get bigger and it’s triggering me ☹️ I’ve been doing how she does it and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’m on my 12th row and I don’t want to restart it. For a tip also, at the top when you're joining the two sides, I like to hdc 10 on each sides of the beanie to make the ears a bit more pronounced xx

Yep
when making your slipknot make sure to leave a little extra yarn on the end than shown in the video so you can weave in the end easier!!
if anyone made/makes this mistake an easy fix is to work over that short tail on your second row.
Your content definitely motivated me to make crochet UA-cam videos 💝 thank you 😊
ahhh I'm so glad
Thanks I did mine in red and black 😊
excellently explained I already got down to making this beanie. Keep it up ♥ ️👍

Hii Alli! I wanna ask if i can sell the item that i crocheted from following your pattern ( the froggy bucket hat ) hope u answer this :3
Girl sell it you made it and there are many other people with the same pattern so I say go for it
do it
Just do it.
You're selling only the made ones, not the pattern. So i guess its okay?
Sell soul sister slay that mister mister
just a tip since the loose ends seemed to be bothersome, instead of cutting the yarn to change colours just slipstitch the other colour at the end and keep them both attached
Yes, I always do this too. So much easier instead of weaving in all those tails 😊
Thank you so much!!! I was able to make this for my mom for mother's day, she's gonna love it :]
If you want the line that separates the colors to be more defined and straight, do the same pattern just on the back loops only👍🏽
