ഇപ്പോ സഹതാപം കാണിക്കുന്ന പലരും toxic work culture സഹിക്കുമ്പോൾ സപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യില്ല. High paid ആയ പല ജോലികളും including banks(public&pvt) resign ചെയ്യാൻ പലരും മടിക്കുന്നത് സൊസൈറ്റിയും ഫാമിലിയും ഫ്രണ്ട്സും ഒക്കെ എന്തു പറയും എന്നും , വേറെ ജോലി എന്ത് എങ്ങനെ എന്നൊക്കെ ഉള്ള കൺഫ്യൂഷൻ ഉം കൊണ്ടാണ്. സാലറി പോലും ശരിക്കും ഇല്ലാണ്ട് അടിമപണി ചെയ്യാനൊരു വേറെ. പറയാൻ എളുപ്പാണ്.
ജോലി വിടാൻ ഓർക്കുമ്പോൾ ആദ്യം വീട്ടുകാര് തന്നെ തള്ളി പറയും. Loan, emi, investments etc വേറെ. ജോലി കിട്ടിയാൽ ഉടനെ lifestyle upgrade ചെയ്യരുത് , ബാധ്യത ആകുന്ന savingss ഒക്കെ പതിയെ മതി. Investments, insurance ഒക്കെ ആലോചിച്ചു ചെയ്യണം. എമർജൻസി ഫണ്ട് mandatory ആയും വേണം . പിന്നെ time to time upskill courses ചെയ്തു update ആവണം

Anna de same type of Manager aayirnnu enikk last 4 months Even I had several pressures and heavy workload. Night 2 vare irunna situations undaayirnnu. Everybody is working for experience. Anna fresher aayth kond thnne max pidich nikkan nokkiyittund. But health is more important than anything. Salary polm ippol valare kuravaan edukkunna panikk kayill kittunnath valare thuchamaya thuka aan.

US, UK, JP , NZ, AUS etc.. people will be working in their respective timezone (9 to 6) and will be off on their public holidays. But Indians works on 24/7 shift and can't take foreign holidays bec they work in India and can't take Indian holidays since they work for foreign clients.
Sad truth is that even though we received independence on 1947 but in corporate world we are still slaves for the foreign people.

Remembering my manager who complained that am giving more importance to my family than work! Their major concern was me leaving working at 5 skipping my lunch break so that I can go to my 1 year old who was in daycare. I asked I completed my tasks then what is the issue here and she said you can take the next task! The director of the company was telling me to learn new technologies while cutting for vegetables at home like one colleague mentioned to him! For every interviews I attended after that I clearly told I prioritise my family over work and if that’s okay am ready to join! Happy with my current companies and even the other companies I have worked with.

This is what I really experienced when working in a school. I was in confusion since I couldn't live for only working. Im working since I want to live. But all others were running to satisfy the authority. And making fun of me. The authorities always promote this foolish competition since they can make profit. I lost all my self-respect. I was feeling like I was nothing. Gradually, I started to lose control. So I have to quit the job. But now I'm right. My decision was correct and I'm pround about myself on considering me.

Before I join my current company, I used to work in Indian based IT companies and they used to make us work like hell. There were many instances where I never used to get Sick leaves, even when I was unwell. Only when I joined my current company, which is one of the giants in IT industry and a US based company, I used to understand work-life balance is a bare minimum requirement which every employee is eligible to get. Unfortunately, such realization is not there for most of the employees who works in corporate. This shift of mindset should happen among employees , management and leadership team of most of the companies. It's a high time govt should also frame labor laws supporting the physical and mental well being of working individuals.

Annual leave ഒക്കെ നമുക്ക് നാളെ discuss ചെയ്യാട്ടോ എന്ന്. അതും പറഞ്ഞ് അവള് ഒറ്റ പോക്ക് 😂😂 പോകുന്ന പോക്കിൽ എന്നോട് ഒരു സോറി പറയാനും മറന്നില്ല.പിറ്റെ ദിവസം രാവിലെ വന്നപ്പോ എന്നെ അടുത്ത് വന്നു വിളിച്ചോണ്ട് പോയി 3 weeks annual leave approve ചെയ്തു . വെറും 3 മിനിറ്റ് നേരത്തേ പരിപാടി ആയിരുന്നു പക്ഷെ തലേദിവസം ഡ്യൂട്ടി കഴിഞ്ഞോണ്ട് അവളത് നോക്കില്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. 😂😂😂 അതാണ് പാശ്ചാത്യരും നമ്മളും തമ്മിലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസം !!! ഇവിടെ എത്തിയെ പിന്നെ ആണ് ഡ്യൂട്ടി കഴിഞ്ഞ് ഒരു മിനിറ്റ് പോലും നിൽക്കില്ല എന്നൊരാളുടെ മുഖത്ത് നോക്കി പറയാനുള്ള ധൈര്യം കിട്ടിയത്. നാട്ടിലെ നേഴ്‌സുമാരൊക്കെ അങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞാ പിന്നെ പിറ്റെ ദിവസം ജോലി കാണില്ല 😂😂

I have never got work life balance when I was working in India both in private and public sector as n Engineer. It was hard to get the leaves approved from Managers. I left the job and went to Canada just for having a work life balance. It is so good here. Just do your job for the allocated hours and go home ; sleep peacefully 🙏🙏

ഞാൻ പഠനം കഴിഞ്ഞു ആദ്യം ആയി ജോലിക് കേറിയ hspital ഇപ്പോൾ ഓർക്കുന്നു. Avide ഹോസ്റ്റലിൽ താമസിക്കുന്നവർക് duty time രാവിലെ 7 തൊട്ടു ഉച്ചക്ക് 12 വരെ, പിന്നെ 4 തൊട്ടു 7.30 വരെയും ആയിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ lab technician ആയിരുന്നു. 7.30 എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാലും ടെസ്റ്റുകൾ തീർന്നു lab അടിച്ചിട്ട് പോകുമ്പോൾ ഒരു സമയം ആകും. അതിനു ശേഷം patient എപ്പോ വന്നു test ചെയ്യണം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാലും അപ്പോൾ നമ്മളെ വിളിക്കും. സമാധാനം ആയി കുളിക്കാനോ കഴിക്കാനോ ഉറങ്ങാനോ പറ്റാത്ത അവസ്ഥ. മിക്ക ദിവസങ്ങളിലും രാത്രി 2 നും 3നും k വിളിക്കും. അതിലും വലിയ രസം എന്താന്ന് വച്ചാൽ ഈ ടെസ്റ്റുകൾ ഒന്നും emergency അല്ലാരിക്കും എന്നുള്ളതാണ്.
ഏറ്റവും കഠിനം work environment തോന്നിയിട്ടുള്ളത് പുരുഷന്മാർ കൂടുതലായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ ആണ്. (Eg: Oil & gas sector , construction, refinery, power plants, process piping.....) per day 14-16 hrs നിർബന്ധം work time ഉണ്ടാവാറുണ്ട്. Gulf & India both same
