      @lawtalkwithmike I had to go through the legitimation stuff in TN and my friend did it different circumstances in GA it’s about the same. My husband and I weren’t married but he signed the birth certificate so TN automatically filed in court to legitimate her because neither of us were saying anything different so it was automatically approved and after 6 months she was legitimated. My friend filed for. Hold support and in order to receive a court order they both have to take a test to prove he’s the father whether he says he is or isn’t doesn’t matter you have to take the tests then his name WILL go on the birth certificate and child support is ordered. However it will be effective as of the day the request was filed.

    Judge Alex is So right. I was 5 when my parents were getting a divorce and my mom was always talking bad about my dad and that is exactly how I felt. Like I was bad or stupid. She would even tell me sometimes, “You look just like your Dad when you say that!” After awhile I started feeling so sorry for my dad. It’s like she was shoving us closer together rather than pulling me and my dad apart. It’s a terrible thing to do to a child. 😿

      One great thing I learned from my mom is to never speak badly of the other parent. I’m so grateful she never spoke negatively about my dad, even though he signed his rights over for me and my sister. He came back into our lives when we were 16 and I have a great relationship with him now. And my mom is super supportive of it. I am positive she has many reasons to not like him, but she’s never let that impact my relationship with him, even when he wasn’t in my life.

    • @DarthDesolous
      @DarthDesolous 3 місяці тому

      I am glad your situation turned out for the best between you and your father. I own the other hands had the opposite effect. My son‘s mother would always badmouth me to my son. I was young when I had my son and my parents told me never say anything bad about your son‘s mother to him, ever, because that’s your son‘s mother and he will love her unconditionally and don’t go there. So I took my parents advice and I never said anything back to my son about his mother. She ran me down the road with my son and eventually when he was 16 years old, nine years ago, he didn’t want anything to do with me anymore. From the age of three till 16 I always flew him and his older sister that didn’t have a father up to where I lived for the complete summer and the complete winner. I took care of them. When he started school, I flew him up here in the summer and gave him as much time as he wanted to be around his friends where he lived and then flew him up, but I gave him that decision. Even when his sister turned 18 on January 1, she was always with me. I always celebrating her birthday with her to anything that she wanted. I cared for my son and his sister. Money was never an issue when it came to both of them. When they weren’t with me, I just tightened up my belt and just didn’t go on vacation or do anything outside of the normal day so I would have money for them. It’s been nine years now and we don’t even have a relationship and it was due to the fact of his mother always badmouth me. I know that because he told me that when he told me he didn’t wanna hear from me again when I wrecked my car driving to see him and made it there, but told him I had to go back to Houston the next day to turn my car in and get a rental car so they can fix it and then I would be back the next weekend. Four years ago, I called his sister and asked her why I don’t have a relationship with my son and she told me it was because of her mom saying lies about me. His sister said I knew mom was lying on you because I have spent so much time with you. I never saw the stuff. Your mother said you were doing or you said. She also said she tried to talk to my son her brother about it and he is 100% taking his mother side, but his oldest sister Has taken my side. I told her thank you for taking my side I said, but don’t let that interfere with your relationship with your mother. I said thank you for taking up for me in front of your mother, but there’s no need to do that anymore because I don’t want to see you and your mother have a bad relationship with each other. I wanted to tell you this because I am so happy for you that you have a relationship with your parents now. Both of them.

The cities and suburbs are much crazier. More rural areas are usually quieter. I lived in both. Some people can't help where they live. Some people might need to defend themselves. If a person goes to another persons house with a machete FULL STOP send them to jail for the rest of their life. That's so outside of acceptable human behavior they should forfeit their life. That's not a "mistake". If you can get to someones house with a machete without changing your mind then you can kill someone without changing your mind.
    Like are we really talking about the convenience of a man who grabbed an unarmed woman by the throat while holding a machete at her home? Kick him out of his house at the very least. Force him to sell.

    Oh Mike!! I'm catching up because I'm so behind!! I absolutely adore your videos and I love hearing your laugh!! These are gold, I tell you, GOLD!! No one can make these up!! Just a little note, the clips where the guy was smoking glue but thought he was smoking crack and the one where the dead pan magistrate asked the guy if he'd ever not showed up for a hearing and he says, "Possibly" and then he asked him if he had a drug or alcohol problem, he says, "I've smoked a lot of weed". I laugh every single time I hear these!! I finally played them for my husband and he understood why I laugh all the time. Love you much!!
