When Judge Vann told her she would miss him for a week and have him for two and her only response was to look up and say "what?" I busted out laughing so hard, because she dishes it back to him just as bad as he dishes it to her. I die laughing at there interactions all the time
9:46 so true! Just lost my English Bulldog in October last year. 3mos shy from being 11 years old, had him since a pup. He had character and personality that I've never experienced in any other dog. He was more like a person than a dog. I swear he would get embarrassed if I talked to people about the silly things he would do. Ugh, I miss him so much 😔

That Mr. Steiner segment made me sad. He's apparently had some really lousy breaks and turned to alcohol and pot as his world fell apart. The one guy isn't entirely wrong with the "making money off phone calls" bit. Prisons and other facilities charge a collect calling rate that is MUCH higher than the industry standard. So much higher that some telecom companies refuse to accept their calls directly, instead forcing prisoners to use a third party calling card company as middle man.
This isn't new. They had been doing it for decades. Its the price you pay for being a criminal. A cup of Ramen can go up to $10 per cup. Best to do is stay out of trouble.
Do you have even the faintest idea how much it costs to house, feed, and secure a single prisoner?! And you're concerned that prisoner telephone calls are pricey?!

Of COURSE, one case in one situation with a specific set of circumstances different from another. OR, can we say murders don't serve jail time because O.J. got off, ignoring the vast majority of other cases?
That said, the argument to Erich you replied, reference the cost of imprisonment. So let's address that. Should there be less people in prison? Maybe? If you believe that, you - yes, YOU - can feel free to he more involved in the election process. Run for office. Get legislation changed. Do something in the real world about it.
Until then, we taxpayers are fitting the bill for prisoners and generally speaking are not fans of spending more money on prisons when there are lots of other issues in need of addressing.
I'd love to see a reduction in military spending, but whay with us having hit the debt ceiling for the nth time recently, there is work to do.

The guy who didn't think he had probation limitations, i think, probably has some sort of dementia or beginning demtia. Im a nurse. I see this a lot in order in older folks that they remember things they swear are true. They can also get distrustful of others trying to help them. They get get irritable.

My son got in trouble in Wichita Kansas three years ago when he was 17 it’s 20 now going on 21. We’ve been to court 71 times and the prosecution the DAs office has yet to be ready we go again in another week and I am trying to convince his attorney to have the case dismissed like that shit if they can’t be ready in three years, it’s ridiculous.
