Do you use a low voltage cutoff in your starter box when using a Lipo battery? I'm using the Protek sure start box with the Protek 4s 2100 mah shorty lipo...thnx
That's what I do.. every time. My only problem is finding a good box. I have the protek box. It's a good box the starter wheel sucks. They dont last long. The rubber is to soft it gets chewed up to easy I went threw 2 wheels already
Did you put washers under the motor mount in the box? That will bring the wheel further out of the box. I had to replace a wheel as well but that was because I didn’t realize the compression of the new motor was preventing the wheel from being able to turn over the engine

Thanks! New to nitro. Bought a Ad b21 motor. Was having little trouble with the alignment. Was doing it with motor installed. Thanks for the help

I don't, but I make sure to top off the battery every couple of days at the track.

Yep I did that after the wheel would not touch the flywheel down.
The mugen starter wheel is the same as protek.
Yeah that happened to me and when I went to change the wheel the screw strip. I am not impressed with the protek starter box.
