I just got into racing last year, been a basher and into rc my whole life. This channel is great and because of you Im learning so many things. Don't get me wrong, the guys at the local track are great, but they're definitely limited to their bias. Im so new its nice to have varied knowledge, from basic to advanced, rather then brand specific. I have a tlr 8ight-x elite and a kyosho mp10. Can't decide which brand to fully commit to. JQ, i really really really appreciate your new Videos, there is soo much great Information and i really think you know your Stuff! I just wanted to give you Feedback on your actual Car: Me and 3 other guys from our Track were running your Black & Grey Editions. But we all moved to other Brands, but not because of the actual Performance, but because of Material and Kit Quality. We were bending Links, Shock pistons, drive shafts and so on like crazy, there was hardly a Day when we didn't have to fix something. Also the Kit Quality itself, the manual, the dremeling of the arms etc. were just not up to Industry Standards. IF you would create a Car with the durability and Quality with lets say Xray or Mugen, combined with your geometry knowledge i think you would have an absolute Winner. And just to clarify, i drive the Xray equally bad to the Grey Edition because my driving sucks and i crash a lot, but with Xray (or Mugen for the other guys) we get away unharmed 95% of the time.
Translate to portuguease and i buy. ;) Portuguese and Brazilians would be forever grateful for the opportunity to have this book in their mother tongue

The general concepts of your book can be apply to any Rc hobby grade car and for any kind of driver experience? In my case, newbie and I own a Traxxas Rally 1/10
@@invisiblespeedrc Hm, good question... So there are still quite a lot guys that use the Xray Setup book. But I think this is outdated and in some cases not correct. A guy who races often at my local track creates these Xray Setup Helpers. They´re not bad but very general. All these setup books are in English which should not be a problem for the most racers. Maybe you can check how well it is sold in German speaking countries and decide then if there is still a market for a German version. For me personal I would buy also the English version but in the native language it is more comfortable to read, of course.

They're used to monitor and analyze grip usage to maximize utilization of grip. If you haven't, do you know anybody who has? If not, any idea why people aren't doing this at high levels of racing?

A good book for 10th scale on road is Speed Secrets by Ryan Maker. I don’t run much off-road anymore but I ordered the book anyways. I will enjoy reading it.
@@GrandeGixxer Ryan Makers book (which I own) should be considered a supplement to Invisible Speed. Ryan's book doesn't use physics theory to explain things so you will be mislead in understanding of what to change for a given situation.
