Todd, I cannot thank you enough for your channel. I am 50 years old and began racing a gold pan RC10...back in the mid to late 80s. I have dabbled in RC, but have recently become really, really drawn to nitro RC. Without talking on and on...I don't know how to reach you other than here. I have so many questions! Haha! Even with the internet and modern tech, I still feel like nitro/glow powered RC is a big of a secret society! Haha!
I am happy that electric is where it is, compared to the NiCad days.... but anyone can do that. I have built cars and choppers...and so this fits me well.
(I will be quiet now! I just wanted to reach out and thank you for your work here!)

I have gotten into and out of rc over the years, I started with a radio shack red arrow back in '89. Years later after picking up a stadium blitzer I got deep into electric. I built my own packs. But eventually I moved on from that as well. This has been my longest continuous period in the hobby, and it's because of the nitro engine. It might not have kept my interest if it was easy. The early frustration made me want to learn. And then, at a certain point, you get over that hump. You develop your ear. You start spending more time running than wrenching. For me the next fix was racing on a track. I bought all the books, read countless forums and watched a ton of videos. It helps, but wheel time is what gets you there. Thanks for watching.

@@NitroTalkwithTodd Thank you so much! I seriously enjoy your unique spin on things... and, yes, it is the engine for me as well that has sucked me back into things. I look forward to more videos! I have a lot of catching up to do!!!

I just threw away a blue chrome-top starter box and a pink 1/10 box, both by Ofna and both with single motors. Didn't realize some people still might want them. Got them from a friend for free 13 years ago and never used them, and when I got back into nitro 4 years ago, I got a used, more-modern Ofna blue box with dual motors that I use today. Converted it to Deans for 4S lipo, and I even wired up a simple automotive relay so that the contacts under the lid don't have to carry the motor current.

Is it my Bluetooth headphones or is there a high pitch buzz noise thru out video?
I love the older blue and Chrome ofna box. It doesn't do to well on my rc8b3.2 nitros though it's to wide. But it's perfect for my ofna 9.5 ravenger and hyper 7s

92571 is the part number for the power panel, don't think you can purchase components for the panel separately. Thanks for watching.
