@@jorge8596 He isn't just a rich driver ffs.. To even get into F1 you need your super license which very few drivers have the prerequisites for; he absolutely dominated all his opponents through-out his years in karting and time and time again he has proven to be an excellent driver in a number of his drives in F1. He is definitely in the top 5 for having excellent starts and driving in the rain. He's an outstanding overtaker and he even gave Perez- a guy who's been with the team since 2011- a run for his money.
Look at Kimi, he crashed on his own and has made plenty of silly mistakes last year (the biggest embarrassment I think was his jump start) and the few people who do comment on him negatively are sugarcoating it. If it were Stroll- you bet your ass 90% of the comments would be filled with..... You already know... That's what you call hypocrisy, ignorance and bullshit- all wrapped into one. Look at his stats for yourself, he isn't a bad driver nor did he ONLY get his drive because of money; he's in F1 for a reason and without his father, Williams would not even be a team right now and same goes for Force India (which will later become an Aston Martin works team)... Why isn't anyone saying anything on that subject? F1 would be so different without the Stroll family stepping in.

They are not even close to be another Alpha Tauri. They just have signed a cooperation contract with Mercedes which has a specific operational time (like your mobile phone contract) Red Bull is literally Alpha Tauri, the entire organisation, even the funds. Mercedes is not Williams.

Josh's breakthrough came with the signing of Dan Ticktum to Williams as a development driver. Since there isn't much information on Torpedo Ticktum, Josh's excellent video on the lunatic gained him a lot of traction.
Josh deserves the recognition too, his videos are well-researched, entertaining and his presentation style is top notch.
It mostly came down to random UA-cam video surfing for me. 😂

Czech viewer here, Charouz is pronounced more like kha-rose.
"Ch" in Czech is the ch from "loch", not the cz sound (we have letter č for that) "ou" in Czech is like oh, r has more trill but there's no equivalent in English language.

While it is true that there is no k sound, it's not just h either. There's a reason why English transcription of that sound from some languages (Russian for example) uses two letters (kh). Refer to the second sentence, "ch" in Czech is the same sound as ch in "loch". Similar to h in "how" but a bit softer.

Following F2 for the first time in decades, I have only noticed Nissany as one of the last 3 finishers in most of the races except 1 I think.

I remember Nissany. The Dude was significantly slower than Alex Yoong. And he was like this super old dude doing tests for Minardi. I didn’t know about their Hungarian background, which is interesting. Do one on Zsolt Baumgartner. That’s like the only ever proper Hungarian F1 Driver I can think of. He was kinda slow too, but scored a point at Indy coming in 8th... and last. I remember seeing his F3000 results he kept coming last or something, so I was surprised to see him Male it to F1. I think he did some Champ car and then kind of disappeared.

Why? Because they recently copystriked a F1 meme channel worldwide, even though fair use is allowed. They only have the broadcasting rights to F1 in India, they act like they own it all.
I’m an Indian and this is embarrassing.

As an Israeli F1 fan I really wanna see Roy prosper in F1 and develop into a well established driver in the sport. Motorsport has been a taboo in Israel for decades so for us it's even more special and prideful :)

Problem with star india is that they have paid a huge sum for showing Formula 1, Formula 2 in their channels and their mobile app for a very small group of people 😅😅
He is a nice guy, he was featured and interviewed in the Hungarian television yesterday (as he calls Hungary his second home❤🇭🇺) he isn't that slow in f2 this season and Claire said he completed his tests without mistakes. Don't blame him for having money, he does deserve at least an f2 seat, but at the moment nothing more than that really.
Literally one day before he launched a braindead overtake attempt (he was 5 car lengths behind) and crashed himself and his teammate out of the race on lap 2... Quality driver!

@@mrcmacc Yes but with average drivers and a bad car they aren't going to score many points. Few points = low income from the series. I fear that Williams is in a downward spiral. I've been following them from 1980 and I see the downfall as a sad thing - not that there haven't been other big teams that failed in that period (Brabham and Lotus come to mind).
It depends. If Russell is as good as some claim (not 100% I buy that yet) then it could work. Keep in mind Schumacher really dragged Bennetton up without any other drivers there.
That being said as much as I can stomach Latifi, he can drive on a F2 level so its not a crime to stick him in an F1 car (though I do predict he will be the worst driver on the grid) but Nissany is quite painful as this guy isn't going to produce any useful data.
@@simonkevnorris Except no one is expecting any points from Nissany, as he's not a full time driver. He doesn't even own the super license and won't be getting it in the forseeable future. They signed him strictly because he brings money to the team, and they need it immediatly if they want a chance to survive as a team.

Honestly, the idea of Nassany joining an F1 season, even in a Williams, is just a touch too stretching the suspension of disbelief. His prior results just aren't up to snuff. He'll probably be going the way of Gelael in terms of F1 involvement. It's honestly kinda depressing watching a team that was once a titan be reduced to chacing one pay driver after the next.

I think what people don’t consider before making dumb comments is that all the good junior drivers immediately taken by Ferrari Mercedes and Red Bull academy systems leaving teams like Williams to sign people we’ve never heard of. Example, Latifi. He is obviously a decent enough driver, at least better then Kubica, but who else could they get? De Vries was off to Formula E, so Latifi was next best in F2, and probably better than Vandoorne, Ericsson, Sirotkin or any other drivers that lost their seat for 2019. I’m just saying, before you judge their decision, look at the other options they had.
