WTF Happened to Narain Karthikeyan?

- He was India's first ever Formula 1 driver. And yet, a lot of people look at him as less than. Why is this? Because as we'll find out in this video, there is more to Narain Karthikeyan than you may think.
A special thank you to Collin Buchanan for designing the awesome thumbnail for the video. Be sure to check out his portfolio down below!

I’m one of the “pandemic fans” who started watching formula 1 this season but I have to say, good or bad, Narain did introduce an entire country to Formula 1. Even before I started watching and when I was a wee little kid, formula 1 was on everybody’s lips in India because of Narain.
I agree, me too, and then came Mallya with Force India and I was all eyes since then
Same. It was really easy to catch up on a lot of stuff. I remember when so first started watching F1 I was struggling to remember each driver
@@shaarif6489 I think jehan might bring back alot of indian F1 fans back. alot of Indians have already started following formula 2. Jehans father is connected to the shapoorji paloonjis too so they can really bring back F1 in india like Mallya did.
I had been following F1 for a long time; but the fact that F1 was known by everyone even in the quiet hillside town I hail from just because of this man is undeniable. Even my dad, who is as far removed from motorsport and cars in general as is humanly possible knew about him, and in fact was the one who introduced me to the sport.
Same. Started watching in March, now I’m working to get a job in F1.
It is tough to become an F1 driver from India, we Indian F1 fans have a lot of respect for Narain Karthikeyan.
