That wasn't from being shot by the Ukko though - it was a combination of things that happened all at once, including the Greedcursed liquid.

Hey brother, love the video as always! Just came across one of the most destructive wands in the game. Might be worth checking out. In seed # 557788523 there is an always cast meteor wand that can destroy everything on the screen in seconds. It is in The Vault almost directly under the first temple water pool just a little bit down. Played the seed twice to confirm and it was there both times. By far the craziest wand I have seen yet. Throw an energy orb on it and get the cast speed reduced with modifiers and you can literally destroy everything on the screen almost instantly. Amazingly fun to play with and the visuals are insane.

Love these seed videos. I've only completed the work a couple of times, so still not at a level to survive these wild setups. Also, don't mind me feeding the algorithm.

Things named "Pandora's Box" always bring crazy things in any game. It's basically the devs bringing chaos, as a Pandora's Box would.
I've played on this seed before, it is possible to open the chest without breaking the potions by kicking it into the small hole at the left and surrounding it with water. You can also take one of the monstrous powder flasks into NG+ and kill it there, which is what I did

You could get telekinetic kick and take the chest to a big body of water, and open it there so no flasks break.
Would it have been interesting to see that instead of spawning all the pit bosses? I HAD to break the flasks for the video in order to show everyone.

lol, I know, right? There are a couple more that are equally as interesting (at the moment) but hopefully people help me find some more xD - a "sampo in spawn great chest" seed would be AMAZING.

Great vid! Collecting all of the 11 orbs with greed curse was a real challenge! I wander is there any other way to unlock omega sawblade, not counting chance for it to spawn in the hourglass?

So I came to this video because I *think* that in one of your videos when you opened a great treasurechest, Fury, you asked commenters to leave seeds where they found one? Either that or seeds where they found their alchemic precursor recipes.
Either way; I'm about to open it, I'm very scared to, but I found a great treasure in the western (left) side of the mines on the way to the collapsed mines. I'm definitely recording myself opening this, this is my first GTC! I'll put an edit of what was in it when I'm finished!

Unsure if Noitatools has been updated for the release's AP and LC recipes, but if it has, this seed seems to have a fairly easy pair with LC being Ambrosia, Swamp, and Lava, while AP is Lava, Oil, and Worm Pheremone
Edit: It had a water stone in it, but aside from that, all it had was fungal spores, some gunpowder, and some chaotic poly, all in flasks.
Edit 2: Oh yeah, it also had alot of hearts. I think at least one was a heal as I went from 40 HP to over 170
Edit 3: Aaaand I just found both an oil flask around the collapsed mine area, and a worm pheremone potion on the way to the lava lake I'll stop updating this now but this seems like a really fun seed

i just saw omega saw blade first time today, and tested it in holy mountain - not sure what i was expecting but somehow i survived with 10% hp (of 2k) :D What a coincidence
Have things like certain projectiles mixing and changing liquids or certain items like the fire rock (Name escapes me) being able to turn them into steam been covered? I've noticed in my recent runs that glittering field and bouncing burst change acid or mix it with water really well. Also apparently fire is considered a liquid so freeze field puts it out and makes a small puddle of fire.
stuff like this scares me.. I imagine that I'm having a god run but then I open chest like this and it's over

I did a challenge where I tried to beat noita with the minecart mod and the plank mod and I couldn't get out of the minecart it's really interesting you can get a lot of momentum going to kill high level enemies easily (I moved around mainly with kick) and the plank mod is so you can move around and block enemies your not ready to fight yet
Best way to open the pandoras box and survive would be to shoot it from the caves entrance and just run in

I didn’t find the seed myself, DunkOrSlam posted it in a playthrough (link: ua-cam.com/video/VGyVZpPNcI0/v-deo.html ) (I didn’t see anyone else talking about this seed yet but just in case they did, ignore this comment, please)
apparently the recipe for it is: water, soil and mud, so as long as water touches soil, mud is created and there’s a chance for alchemical precursor to appear It looks absolutely crazy

It's a reference to a player who did a crazy Maximum orb run. I can't recall the details right now but Fury did do a video on secrets in the 1.0 update and this was one of them.
It's an ode to Bamalam, who killed the max orb boss in NG+max.
I'm not sure if I mentioned it in a video yet, actually, but I'm working on a video about all the tree pillar pieces and it'll be in that.

Well, to be honest, the whole point of the video was to showcase the monstrous powder in the chest at the beginning, but I was hoping the wand connoisseurs would follow me a bit deeper into the levels.

I'm curious why you didn't you leave the chest or even kick the chest into a corner so that you could dunk it in water first to prevent flask breaking?
Because spawning the bosses was the entire POINT, lol.
To give more detail: this is a showcase run of this seed. If I had just kept the flasks from breaking and told everyone, "oh, there are Monstrous Powder flasks in there too..." it wouldn't have been as entertaining, right? I also put that little death montage in there on purpose, for entertainment reasons. I could easily have started this without dying, but...that's not the point.
Can you prevent the bottles from breaking if you submerge the chest in water?
You can, but I wanted them to break (i.e. it was way more fun to have them break and then have to try to "escape" from all the squidro bosses in the intro of the video). Unfortunately, this seed has changed and this chest is no longer a "great" chest, so no longer contains monstrous powder.

That's because the devs changed where great treasure chests spawn in the Mines, so that is just a normal chest now.
Can you prevent monster powder flasks from shattering by submerging chest in liquid?
Sometimes, but more often than not they will break anyway because of the gold rain. I've run this seed about 50 times (no exaggeration) and the flasks almost always break.
Have the great treasure chests been this good in the past?
In all of the old videos they roll the loot table hundreds of times, giving you a mountain of flasks, extra 800 hp and more.
When i got my first treasure chest (not including the livianthan's barely ubtainable chest) by picking up curse of greed, traveling through parallel worlds to find a greed die and using projectile thunder field to get two treasure chests i've got my biggest dissapointment in the entire game. One health upgrade and a wand not worth picking up (and the greed die also dissapeared). I've survived the end of everything many times and only got one flask of a rare material and it was a glowing fungal spore that broke offscreen for no reason. It's loot has been nerfed so bad that it is only usefull now on seeded runs and for the 34orb ending with the use or rng manipulation. If i find one naturally generated the only good thing i would get is a new seed in my seed collection
the fact that you can lose like 500 hp from a single ukko shot is a bit stupid tbh

Can you spam E to grab all monster liquids?
Well, there are 10+ of them, so you might be able to grab a couple. You can kick the chest into a better spot and then cover it in water and hope that the water cushions it enough so that the flasks don't break, but the gold rain event can sometimes just cause flasks to break no matter what. Still, yes, it's totally possible to open the chest without any flasks breaking. I was sort-of playing it up in this video for a bit of dramatic effect ;)

It totally is, yup.
How do you get the omega sawblade?
You unlock it by opening the chest containing the End of Everything. I have a video on the entire quest (fairly easy) but you only really need to get into the chest location and open the chest to unlock both EoE and Omega Sawblade.

It used to be. You used to not be able to destroy it with anything except high-tier digging like Black Holes. It changed awhile ago though, to give us more options in the beginning of a run.

I miss the banging intro...
It's gone. I'm sorry. The channel very much needed the change. I had that intro for several years, and I've gotten some complaints about it, never took them very seriously, but I figure if the INTRO to my videos annoys some people (and I can easily see how it could've been annoying, with the hammering sounds and flashing lights) then it's a good thing to get rid of it.

Do you consider playing with a determined seed as cheating? I managed to find a wand with Circle of Vigour as an always cast (died in the Tower, got polymorphed)

What's the problem here? Just find a way to stop the Flasks from breaking. Drop down some water or something. Kick it over into that puddle.

It needed a change. I had it for years and I have gotten a few comments recently about how it annoys them and then triggered a seizure, SO...no bueno. Old intro is never coming back.
