Been following Daniel for years: it's good to see he found his cinematic voice. Those who are saying it's repetitive, be patient: think of these as his Short-films, he is definitely working on his Feature Length, yet to be released! I really believe one day there will be a term like "Daniel-esque B-Rolls".

DO NOT FORGET THE VIBRANIUM (it's the most important part)! But in all seriousness, don't be intimidated by the gear I use- you can get one of those reflectors for about 15 bucks, and you don't need a light nearly as fancy as the one I am using. Thanks for watching :)

I have the links to Wakanda so let's go. But in all seriousness, I did a b-roll segment with just a point and shoot on my channel. And aside from making the mistake of shooting in S-log, it turned out alright. You don't need all the fancy stuff, the process is everything.

Hey Daniel, since you’re slowing down most of these shots, are you recording 60 FPS or above for these scenes? I know as a filmmaker they say you should know what scenes you want to slow down and where you would have to bump up your frame rate. But is there a sweet spot where you can continuously shoot in a single frame rate and still be able to slow it down later if you decide to in post?

Make it yourself!! You'll learn so much more. Plus, it's custom. You don't have to worry about sounds being out of sync. Buy a cheap $150 audio recorder and build your own library!
I wander around my house at 1 in the morning with an audio recorder recording random stuff. I look ridiculous, but it works.

I'm with you on this man. It's not that this video doesn't look great (it does), it's more or less that the execution of the visual elements don't really complement the music in some ways. Some of the moves could have been much simpler and still be just as good if not better for the final product. But hey, he still killed this video regardless.
