Amazing video, Parker & Landon! I am extremely humbled to see myself mentioned on this channel. Thanks for all the knowledge you've shared over the years. As a person who never attended a formal film school, it's videos just like this that helped me learn and grow my own business. Keep crushing! 👏
Hey daniel, been a fan since the early days of your channel. Im a starting filmmaker doing a education in filmmaking and im planning to buy some lighting. Could you recommend me a light to buy?? I was thinking about an apurature 120d. Thanks!
Never thought I'd be mentioned in a video like this. I am so grateful for all the tips that Daniel and James has been providing here on UA-cam, without them I'd never be able to shoot the way that I do! Great to see that you inspire others with videos like this!
you, Daniel, James, Fulltime Filmmaker, and the other "epic b-roll" people are the people I have learned THE MOST from. I like the "epic b-roll" trebd SO much because I learn the most from them in the shortest amount of time. Seeing someone execute a shoot from start to finish and explain the process DURING it is the best kind of educational content. It's the most learning in the most compact amount of time. It's basically like digital job shadowing. I greatly appreciate all you guys who do it, even though I'm sure it gets tiring and somewhat repetitive to do.
I know some people get angry that this “Epic B-Roll” stuff is trendy rn but I personally love to see creators inspired by other creators. Shoutout to Daniel and James for pioneering this but also shoutout to you guys for adding your own flare. Lovin the video so far!
ya everyone's raging about it and "tired of it." But honestly I like them SO much because I learn the most from them in the shortest amount of time. It's the most learning in the most compact amount of time.
Mystic Productions thought the same thing as soon as I seen this! Had Daniel’s style all over it! He’s a master when it comes to this work. Plus being an fcpx editor instead of the norm w premier
Love the tip to use the finger to glide against surfaces. Havent heard that one before and I'm gonna put it to use! Also bigups for shouting out Daniel Schiffer. He's a beast!
This Full-time Filmmaker team has probably taught me more about cinematography in the last few weeks then all my prior studies combined!! Keep it up guys and thank you!
Fantastic info. These are the sorts of tips you really wouldn't figure out until after you've missed the mark on a project, so thank you for sharing them!
I love trendy B-roll...but at the end of the day it's just that...trendy. Right now it's cool, but who knows what next year holds. Its refreshing to see Parker's crew try something like this, but ultimately Parker is all about high quality professional gigs. I respect and appreciate both styles as there is currently a market for both. Parker's style though is a more timeless craft.
just shot a outdoors day event (lowrider picnic) using A BLACK PRO MIST FILTER stacked with a ND filter. These really improve the visuals big time. I shoot with a D3200 Nikon Crop Senor DSLR and 35mm kit lens. HAND HELD and Mavic Mini Drone.
This was a great video. Super insightful and much different from what’s been presented by other creators lately. Well done. My thanks for putting it out there. Learned a lot!
Awesome video guys! i just filmed a energy drink commercial for film school and used this video and it turned out so good! Really appreciate you guys putting all of this information out there!
Parker you are about to hit 1M on April 28, 2020. Congratulations in advance. More vids in the future... Continue inspiring us your subscribers with your videos.
I'm a beginner videographer and I've been shooting a lot of B-Roll lately, but it's come out very shaky and unstabilized. Hopefully this will help me! Thanks for the tips!
Good job Landon, well done video. But that peach/protien powder/water jug commercial with the fox logo is still my favorite from you; perfect music choice in that promo 👌🏼
hi, I'm your Russian subscriber, and even though I'm not good with English, but I watch you) I'm also learning how to shoot cinematographically, Hello from Russia)
Yes Me To, never thought I'd me mentioned in a video like this, so Thank You! Oh, wait, I was not mentioned, I guess I better go watch more of your wonderful teaching videos so I might someday get Mentioned. Thanks for all the hard work you do on this channel. :)
What a great video! Thank you for the inspiration and all those useful information! For me getting better in food videography is to keep learning and trying! I will absolutely try to implement some of your tips in my videos
Wow!! These are fantastic 5 tips! They looks pretty easy to do. for sure though, I will have trials and errors by doing these tips. But I will never give up until I make them right. Thank you so much!! Peace! ✌ 🙏🙏🙏
Your videos on shooting handheld AND with stabilizers have been very helpful for learning to shoot close slow moving and steady shots without the dreaded judders - like the pro Steadicam guys do it. A few thoughts on focus, aperture, and lighting trade-offs would be welcome sometime.
that is solid stuff really great video super helpful particularly about lens choice and how that helps not only get wider field of view to ensure get the subject in frame but also for it helping to hide those hand held shots micro shakes - super stuff !

Daniel, Peter 👌.
Handheld is more easy than using a gimbal and faster process. Plus anyone can use it without that much practice.
