    Awesome video, so much more detail than any other video I have seen on adding LSA supercharger to 5.3. Great job!!!

    When I did my blower bracket I put a small zip tie on the spacers that way you can still start the bolts then cut them off with no issue. Also the pro meth direct port system is nice. Also with the blower and head adapter gaskets I put a lil Vaseline on them, makes it easier to line everything up.

      Just finished my built 5.3 LSA swapped 2001 Silverado this week. Street tuned Sunday and can't wait to get it dialed in on the Dyno. Trucks making great power.

    I haven't watched the whole video yet.. but if this thing doesn't have a 4L80 yet, plan on doing that as soon as you get the blower on. When we did the Procharger on our Denali back in 05 it fried the stock trans in like 500 miles on only 5 psi. We've been through 2 built 4L65e's since then. Finally going 4L80 now

    i used to be a tech and i appreciate your technical approach to videos. However a little constructive criticism, take it or leave it, and maybe im off, but id speed up some of the time lapses a little bit, some of them are a little long winded. Other wise keep up with the videos i enjoy the content and the ideas and execution. I'm sad to see you only at 5k subs, but hopefully that keeps growing, I don't see any reason why you and John shouldn't be at like 50k-100k

    I can't wait to see the Tahoe done it's going to be badass!! I have access to a LSA supercharger I have a 08GMC 2500hd with the 6.0l it's been cammed bigger injectors & tuned!! How mush did all the extra accessories cost you? Thank you for sharing your Tahoe build!! You have me thinking really hard about doing this to my truck!! I was going to turbocharge it but I think that a supercharger would be more reliable!! 👍🇺🇸🦅

    • @trbolvr88
      @trbolvr88 6 років тому +1

      Bert Peterson , turbskies are fun and definitely make crazy pwr, iv built and had personally many of both , I use to turbo everything I touched because in my town when I started driving the turbo awd eclipses and talons were what to have and were kings of the streets around here ,but with getting older and alot of experience lol if I'm doing a more daily driver setup deff go with supercharger, way more reliable esp if your not really into working on your car/truck much . long term in my experience anyway s.c is way to go for a daily just my opinion , don't get me wrong I'm a avid turbo lover esp if your primarily drag racing for the tunability, alot more adjustable for racing conditions . Not saying which to go with to each his own , but again imo , doing more street daily driving and hit a drag race once a month S.C it doing more track/street racing turbo everytime lol

      overkill automotive performance I pull a lot with this truck it's pulls really good it has the 6L90E tranny & I put 410 gears in it also & that helped a lot I just want a little bit more hill power & try to get some better fuel economy!! My buddies keep telling me to get a Diesel but I'm just not a Diesel guy!! So in your opinion what would you think would fit what I'm looking for?👍🇺🇸🦅

    • @HighPSItv
      @HighPSItv  6 років тому +1

      +Bert Peterson I will have to figure out the total cost. Without the blower included I would say you're going to have two grand and parts.

      overkill automotive performance you do understand that the lsa blower is a piece together kit and this is his first time installing one. Granted he's doing a good job, some of us "UA-cam mechanics" have actually done this. My setup, lsa lower, zli lid, stock ls9 injectors, 92 mm TB, 3 bar map on 2bar SD tune, all on a Yukon Denali XL (06) .
      The "kit" wasn't designed for the truck, so there's lots of parts and research that has to be done to drop it on. There's nothing wrong with giving advice
