I love you cooking and “what I ate in a week” videos, and love the classical music. Even though your meals look easy to make; they sure do look delicious! Keep them coming Casey!!❤️👌
I never ate liver and mushrooms. I will try it. I always made it with onion. I tried your cranberry drink very good. The second one I added a splash of Rum. Also good.😄
i love liver and onions and never had mushrooms and liver but i am going to try for sure, there is a lot less carbs in mushrooms than in onions thanks for the recipe, here where i live you can buy calf liver in single serving with 4 to a packages that makes it great not having to cook the whole package like it use to be
Omg I am so glad you finally made this video. I think my moms liver was just always over cooked and was tough. I’m excited to make this, maybe shocked is a better word lol!!!
Great timing! I recently bought beef liver at a drive thru farmers market. Unfortunately I do not have any mushrooms as I have not been in a grocery store for 7 weeks. Fresh eggs come from my daughters chickens on my farm. My freezer is well stocked which is typical for farm families. My daughter is clever at obtaining food from various drive thru sites. She has not been in an actual grocery store for a month.
Lambs liver is much milder tasting. Cook with onions and garlic. Just a few minutes each side so nice and pink inside the liver. Also cook mushrooms in butter. In UK liver is so cheap. Sometimes add some lambs kidneys in with the liver.
We always made bacon liver and onions.. makes the best gravy over boiled potatoes ( just sharing that last part before my low carb- keto days) although I find cooked radishes are a good potato replacement. Thanks Casey, love your videos!
I have been reading that with beef liver, you should rinse it off and soak in milk. Do you do this or any variation of this step being keto? I am keto also, and have been wanting to make liver and onions. However, I don't like milk. Plz help. 😏
Try cutting your liver into bite size pieces before it’s thawed out. Then quickly stir fry it with your mushrooms onions etc. Don’t overcook it. And you won’t need as much if any water! Takes less time. Cooked quicker, it stays softer, more tender.

Oh, I’m not a liver liver but I try to force it down. Tried cooking it every way under the sun; but just can seem to develop a real taste for it.
Liver lover I meant 😝
Glad you like them!

Made this tonight. I cooked white onions with the mushrooms. It was delicious! 😋 Thank you Casey!
Glad you liked it!!
I love this classical music in the back of the cooking, it sets a hilariously ironic tone, to the simple instructions.
😉
I’ve only had calves liver and onions. Thank you Casey!
You're so welcome!

I got 3 packages of lamb liver yesterday. I'll be trying it for the 1st time tomorrow!

I do neither of those things. 😉
Watching this video, while putting my face mask on heading to the store for some beef liver!😋🍽
Love that!
I hope you put the mask on when entering the store and not before you drove there.

Thanks. But I'm pretty happy with how we do it around here.
Take out some of the mushrooms and broth blend them, add them back in for a thick gravy.
We're pretty happy with how things turned out as it was.
@@GoKetowithCasey Just a suggestion, for comments,
I have all kinds of issues with liver but still want ideas
My take on liver has evolved. 😉
i love liver, i just hard not to eat it with rice and gravy.
You can do it! 😜
Looks Delicious, Seeing as I'm single, I could make this and get 4 meals out of it.
😉
Really really wish i liked the taste of liver lol, i want to, so bad.
I evolved from barely being able to tolerate it to now really looking forward to it!
Hi from Australia, can you please subscribe the taste and especially the texture.
Omg i meant describe
It's too subjective to describe.
My husband won't eat it but I grew up eating liver among other parts that most people turn their nose up at LOL! This may be lunch tomorrow!
😉
Need a spatula for your kitchen?
Uh ... ❓
