I'm a strict PC gamer with a 4070. I bought a XBOX ONE for $50 with the power brick only just so I can play EA NHL Hockey games since they aren't available for PC. Definitely worth the value.
I've also got my beautiful Xbox One S, the mainly reason why I'm still keeping it and I will be is backward compatibility and... Kinect. I love Kinect❤
"STRANGE" I just gotta say I love my XBOX SERIES X you don't know what your missing, you should just play a SUPER NINTENDO if you never upgrade....FACTS!
I just got a Xbox one x refurbished for 200 with a 2 year replacement warranty. I just wanted to play some call of duty and maybe some Halo. I used to love playing these games online. I'm almost 40 now but hey I love going back in time
Exactly what I did! Got the vcr 1tb and 10 games for $150. Traded the controller and some of the games that came w/ it for a new series controller did a reset and a quick cleaning and it works great! Highly recommended this approach for casual gamers!
I got mine for $15 🤣 I already have a series x , was on eBay and decided to buy a listing of 2 Xbox ones , the original , in good cosmetic condition. No cables , no controller for $30, $55 on checkout . One was dusty and couldn’t read discs . The other was dusty and had a noisy fan . They got here I connected them and they both did work . I cleaned the one with noisy fan , replaced the fan , paired it with a controller I already had and nb2k17 and madden 17 and sold it on offer up for $140 🤠 I cleaned the one that was dusty and couldn’t read disc and decided to keep it ! It’s basically digital only but I already have a series x for discs or blu rays if I need to pop one in . I already have gamepass , couple of series controllers , so this was a come up in disguise lol still functions well and it freed up space on my series x since I’m using the Xbox one for only Xbox one and 360 and original Xbox games , leaving me more space on my series x for series x/s games only . Anyone who is on a budget , I recommend the Xbox one, yes even the original model as I tested halo infinite on it and still works fine , that’s coming from a diamond 5 player on series x and now on the one occasionally. Great budget option for sure .

From 2017, until December 2023, I gamed exclusively on XBOX One (VCR model). I played so many good games on it, including very demanding games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Halo Infinite, all running natively in the XBOX One. Never had an issue. Not only that, but backwards compatibility allowed me to play some great games from OG XBOX and XBOX 360, that I would not had experienced if it wasn't for the XBOX One. Last December I bought a Series X and thought of selling my XBOX One, but decided to leave it as a secondary gaming machine and Blu-Ray player on our second TV.
I’ve had an old VCR style Xbox one for nearly 10 years at this point, dad got it for me when I was like seven years old I’m 16 now, I can intestate the Xbox. It survived quite a bit. It’s been to South America, which most of our phones didn’t survive. It’s been through a lot always been there for me. I can attest from my experience. It’s a great consul. It’s been my main for most of my life and I just recently got a series X.
My brother just moved back in after unfortunately being homeless due to drugs. (He's doing well getting clean) He got an Xbox One as a teenager and 10 years later he's gotten back on it and playing EA FC which is helping him keep distracted whilst trying to get sober. It's pretty amazing to me that 10 years later he's still able to play new games which is a good distraction is pretty amazing to me.
I enjoy the Xbox 360; it's my favorite system, and I own four for display and use. I acquired xbox one for its slightly faster loading times and improved graphics. It's a solid system, especially since the disc drive can play movies. With its proper applications and other features, it's almost a Windows clone, particularly if you're just using Edge and the Xbox app, which are my main uses. I hardly need my PC anymore, except for the data on it when I need to create a quick invoice, as I can use Word on Xbox. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but it's possible. What I mean is, the experience isn't bad at all for what you're getting; it's essentially a compact starter computer. Depending on its use, it's also an impressive next-gen Xbox 360 system. However, I do miss having downloaded music, something my PC and the 360 offer that the One doesn't handle well.
I grew up with every gaming system, though Atari wasn't much in the picture during the 2000s. Instead, Nintendo and the Wii reigned supreme. I've owned every Xbox and remote, experiencing nearly every gaming system and its computer counterparts over the years. In my opinion, the original Xbox remains the best in the lineup. It may be old and somewhat forgotten, but it's a true gem for those interested in retro or modern gaming. With keyboard and mouse support, plus multiple controller options via adapters, I could even use a 360 controller on my original Xbox if I wanted. Despite its slower speeds and the fact that it won't receive new updates-likely making this its last dashboard-I'm content to say it had a great run and can rest as a notable console in history. However, since it's still common, affordable, and functional, it's an excellent system to use. With proper care, it could last another 11 years. I haven't upgraded much, and it's served me well. I even reverted to this original model after trying all the newer ones. I never switched to the Xbox X because the Series S wasn't a significant step down, except for some improved ventilation and graphics processing speed, in my opinion.
Depending on the Xbox model you use, and aside from its modern specifications, the Series S supports 1440p, whereas the original Xbox One supports full 4K. While counting pixels may not make a significant difference, if you're seeking a system that matches your display, this could be worth considering. I stream movies from my Xbox to avoid using my PC when it's not necessary. I've moved away from using a TV since I don't binge-watch television shows or movies. Instead, I play them while working or sleeping, rarely watching a film in its entirety. It's convenient to have a lightweight system capable of running online and disc titles, as well as music CDs, if you still have them. The Series S doesn't seem as useful to me since the Xbox One nearly meets all my requirements. I don't need a fast system, just a reliable one. Despite lower graphics, which don't bother me after using the PS2 and 360, it's quite up-to-date compared to other systems, even without considering the hardware specifications.
Main reason I got an Xbox one originally was it's also not a bad wireless display that works great with a controller. It means you can remote play a PC on your tv in a usable state of you need to which has been really useful from time to time.
I still got my OG Xbox One as well, same exact big body model. Once I got a PS4 in 2016, I basically put it down completely. Then when I was living with college roommates between 2020-2022 I left it in the living room as our entertainment box since I kept my Series X & PS5 in my room. For streaming vids and movies it did fine, and for our late night high as hell gaming sessions it did great considering we mainly played Rocket League and Jump Force lmao.
I got an Xbox One from my brother-in-law for basically $100 a few years ago. Base model and I'm fairly certain he had it since launch but I love it. I don't really care about "4K" or "HDR" or "One X Enhanced", I'm just happy to play the biggest games that came out for that generation.
I got an Xbox One a few years ago for like $50 at a pawn shop. I have a Series S as well, but also a decent library of physical Xbox 360 and some Xbox One games, so that's what I use the Xbox One for occasionally. I think the last thing I played through fully on it was Red Dead Redemption. Loved the video, Kevin!
@@RawwRexxbox one s if your on a budget. Or if you can find a one X. The series x is of course the best but not cheap. I got one around last Christmas and paid over five for a brand new one with extended warranty.
@50kkk89 yes, but not every 360 game is compatible. Try searching "Xbox One backwards compatibility game list" and you should be able to find every game that will work
bro the xbox one is still one of my favorite consoles maybe because I had more time to spend with that then my 360. I still belive no other console is going to replicate that old feeling for me
@@sirpugstudios it’s not so much the console, the Xbox one is obv more capable. It’s the games tho. The amount of quality games, and just the quantity of awesome and different genre/style of games that came out for the 360 is nothing short of staggering. Talking Ps2 level list of games here, but better. U should dive into them if u ever have the time.
iI understand what you're saying; I have years of experience on the Xbox 360, with over 2000 hours spent operating and playing on that system. I have nearly the same amount of time on the Xbox One, with 1200 hours dedicated to Fortnite alone. The nostalgia I have for the Xbox One comes from that game and the memories associated with it. Both have provided great moments in my life, but I must say, nothing has ever matched, and probably never will, the experience and games the Xbox 360 offered. It has exponentially changed the gaming industry as we know it today.
If you are going to get an Xbox One, grab a 1TB 3.5" SSD off of eBay and replace the hard drive inside the Xbox (also installing the Xbox operating system) and also replace the thermal paste on the APU and blow out all the dust inside. Its easy to find tutorials on UA-cam but this will make your loading times way quicker and make games run a bit better on the Xbox One
It’s perfect for casual media playback or even for a increasingly tight budget gamer. If you can find a XBOX ONE S for under $130, you’re getting an Ultra HD 4K blu ray player, plus an insanely large game library. It’s amazing backwards compatibility makes this a hard time to say “No” when your kid wants a game console. It’s too cheap to skip out on the passed- on savings.
Xbox one (VCR) is only 1080p. I picked up a white one and placed an ssd inside. You can get the Xbox One logo file offline. When you install a new hard drive, you lose the logo when turning on the console until a new update comes. Star Wars Squadrons still looks great on it.
I got my boyfriend a vcr Xbox one and he was thrilled. A handful of current games are still released on it like Prince of Persia, but also you have access to 3 generations of Xbox on that machine with backwards compatibility. He had put down gaming as a hobby for awhile so everything is new to him, even if it’s not a new release.

I just bought a working Xbox one on eBay for $20. It came with the cables, 3 games and 2 controllers. I mainly bought it for a movie streaming device since I can’t stand to use Roku/Amazon fire sticks, they are way too slow. The original Xbox one blows them out the water just for movie streaming so I’m happy and it works perfectly well for my living room entertainment system.

4:29 - There's not a real debate about Xbox One exclusives. There are about 12 games that are Xbox One only. A little more if you include backcompat Xbox 360 and original Xbox. The vast majority of third party games that were released on Xbox One are also on PS4.
@@AshtonGodbout True but the one s is the only xbox one console besides the one x to do somewhat native 4k output to the tv for streaming media. the xbox one is only 720/1080p.
Skip the og Xbox One and the One S and go straight to the One X. It's a beast. That's what they kept saying back then. Plays some games in 4K better than the Series S.
If you're venturing into the used market, it's a much better deal to get a used Series S for around $150-$200. Smaller footprint, 1440p resolution and current gen level gameplay. Not to mention it's an emulation beast!
I got an OG Xbox One for free cause the disk drive was bad and was sluggish. Replaced the disk drive, formatted and installed an SSD, and redid the thermal paste and that machine is awesome. Plays 360 games and newer games and boots insanely fast
My hang up with Xbox One, is that it requires an internet service to initialize it after a factory reset. Someday the servers won't be there, and the console will not be able to be part of its retro golden years.
about 2.5 years ago for reasons i didn't have a games console so i bought a vcr xbox one for around £50 this was just to play like 6 games i ended up keeping it for like 6 months because all the games i played was good enough around charismas 2022 my little cousin broke his xbox so i gave him that xbox and got myself the series x
I have a series s and love it, it’s my first actual console and it’s great. I love the price and I only play cod and Fortnite so the storage isn’t an issue and I’m not missing out on the disk drive. The 120 fps is great and the load times is great
Still use my Xbox one VCR. In fact, that’s why I’m here. I was playing Diablo IV, and I streamed a lot of Starfield. I do own a series x, but I leave my Xbox one at my parent’s house, and play on it when I visit.
Theres many factors are definitely worth considering for the One, specifically the S and X imo due to the better hardware which opens up more games to being far more enjoyable: 1. Price as you mentioned which can make the system and its games a great bang for your buck purchase. 2. Disc drive which accepts used games and Smart Access games which dont need an online check vs the Series that forces it to play the same game. Also Bluray and CD playback which baffles me how the PS4/5 got rid of it (just to promote their music streaming app). 3. MS Reward Points which definitely is handy for making games cheaper, I got Halo Infinites BP for free because of it. Add in an SSD and that thing can provide a ton of fun, but I would certainly avoid the original.
Upgrading the internal HDD to a 2.5" SATA SSD is pretty trivial and really only requires a screwdriver, a flash drive, OSU1, and being able to format the SSD to NTFS before installing it in the system. Completely rejuvenated my Xbox One VCR, improved boot and loading times.
Got one this week for £40 - only had a Switch otherwise. Looking forward to playing GTA V again, and Fortnite/Rocket League at frame rates that don't suck and bit at 720p
@@overturee1928 Originally launched as an entertainment system primarily for online interactions, the inclusion of a 4K disc player is redundant when content runs natively in 4K. Previously, there was a superior storefront for movies and a TV tab that allowed streaming services like Telus Pik TV directly to the Xbox One, rather than through a television screen.
I like that I could plug in my switch hdmi into the other hdmi port on the xbox and just use that as a way to play it. It was nice not having to change hdmi over I could just click in the TV app for it
Great video. I loved my Xbox One when I got it in 2016 and about 5 games for about $325. I donated it to my friends son when I upgraded to the One X and he played it for a couple years and had fun with it. When it comes down to it they are way more reliable than early 360s and you can play physical media in them. Good stuff for $70-$80
Its not just about cloud gaming as some of the newer titles run really well on xbox one like Hogwarts legacy and fortnite FH 5 look really good RE 4 remake would run perfectly on xbox one x but given the older xbox one the one x is suffering a early death as the Xbox one x was the world's most powerful console back in 2018/19
The major reason you should buy this is the price, it can play games from 3 generation and some from this current gen, it's quiet, you only need to swap the HDD for an SSD especially if you play recent games
Simple Phil Spencer cross gen gaming policy which more for those 3rd party studios still use HDR tech over series X/S units ability game in Dolby Vision with HDR10 color spectrum technology. In simple words much more colors with more realistic look like AAA First party game like F1 racing or everwild or star field would look.
As someone still rocking a Xbox 360 in 2024, this would still be a decently big upgrade especially now that the marketplace is closing. I'm gonna go for a series S tho alongside my "gaming" PC for my studies
These videos are fun and interesting, seeing how a PS4 or XB1 can run modern games and what deal you are getting for a older system. I know it is not the same thing but I think it would be worth doing a similar video on the Wii U. Those are around $150 and the give you access to the Wii U games that have ported over to Switch. And it plays Wii games. Something to consider. Thanks for the video!
Physical games are still important to some people in the event that we don't have an Internet connection. Even if it's just a temporary outage. I'm glad I went back to buying blu rays and physical games again. Every now and then when I'm off and there's an Internet outage out of the blue I have games and movies that I don't need Internet to use.
If you're really going to rely on Game pass then you might as well get a One and spend less cash, a Series S will not do anything when streaming that the One can't.
I got my original Xbox One back in 2014 and I had some good memories on it. Then it died this year and I upgraded to Series X and I remember saying to my self “how did I ever play games before”.
I have bought a XboneS for 150, which was the cheapest I could find. Wonderful purchase, have been using it for a year now. Gamepass has a large library of games and most xbox OG and 360 games run on my console just fine. Armored core 6, lies of P and persona 3 Reloaded are all great new releases which I have been enjoying. Lastly, most xbox games go on super cheap compared to the ps4 ones. Meaning Xbone (w/s or x) is super great for those on a budget.
When Xbox One S launched I had a friend who preordered it so he sold me his launch edition Xbox one for $100, still one of the best deals I’ve gotten, runs smoothly, has a great library, and hell even halo infinite multiplayer matches run well on it
When my buddy bought a launch series X, I took advantage and bought his one x for a steal. Still one of my fav consoles and I honestly don’t feel the need to upgrade anytime soon
Got one from a yard sale. Super clean and taken care of. Just plan on using for my YT channel for simple games that came out the same time for this Xbox. Like hello neighbor, prey, cuphead and hopefully dark souls remastered if it's playable. Simple games like bendy, codbo3 etc. as long as it does it job I'm happy for my channel
ZERO reason to with Series S's being dirt cheap and the Series X being a good value as well If Xbox One modding was easy (to play 360/Xbox One backups offline) it would be worth it however that's not the case
I bought one Xbox One S with two controllers really cheap as a Gamepass machine and it is great! I have 1 terabyte to install titles I use mostly on my house such as Diablo IV or EA FC and titles to play with friends such as APEX Legends, Back 4 Blood or Fortnite when they come home (me on my PC and them on the Xbox). I plan on replacing my computer's SATA SSD (2TB) for a 4TB one and move the old one to my Xbox for more storage and speed. I also didn't have a Blu Ray player so there's that as an extra bonus with this purchase. If you find a good price I say go for it!
If you're a little more technical and are comfortable taking the Xbox One apart, I highly recommend dropping in an SSD. The difference in the loading times and just overall responsiveness, even on just the home screen, is night and day. I did this on my old One X and don't regret it a bit. You can get a decent 512GB model for like 40 or 50 bucks if not less. Maybe that cuts too deep into the value proposition of such an inexpensive box, but if you can make it make sense, I wouldn't hesitate.
Xbox series x has stellar compatibility for last gen games, but price wise Xbox one hardware is a great bargain right now. The games are cheap and fun, I’m still going back and playing a lot of Xbox one games I missed out on.
My VCR is still my entertainment system. I run 2 TVs remote off of it it’s been money for the last 10 years. I’m not a big gamer these days though. I play forza and COD occasionally like 15x a year. But for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, UA-cam it’s the best. Also I know how to repair any issues that could ever come up.
This summer I bought an Xbox One X for the equivalent of about $100 and tried Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Can't imagine a gaming experience with better value for money.
I got an Xbox One S recently that a coworker didn't want, and it's been a blast rediscovering Xbox/360 games. XB1 games also tend to be even cheaper than PS4 games in my experience, so certain multiplat games like Maneater "feel" like Xbox games to me, if that makes sense. It's really nice to play exclusive stuff like Hydro Thunder Hurricane and the port of Guardian Heroes too. The load times ARE pretty crazy though, but I've adapted. XB1 is a system I let start up while I brush my teeth, warm up food, etc. 😅 Also, I DID have the Xbox One VCR first, and overall enjoyed it. Just moved to the One S since it was being given away. I gave my One VCR to a friend and he loves it.
Ive been using the base xbox one for almost 6 years now, its been a good time. Although, im upgrading to a series x soon, so i gotta let it go, but ill probably give it to my sister so it doesnt go to waste and collect dust

My Series X is 99 percent digital I only own 1 physical game black ops 3
@@gabrieljohnson1854 What are you thinking of? The Xbox One as it was when it was revealed? Microsoft changed the Xbox One after all the backlash and the Xbox Series X isn’t like how the Xbox One was suppose to be either. You can sell used physical Xbox games and you can use them more than once, and it doesn’t download a digital version because if you buy the game physically, you need to insert the disc every time you wanna play that game. The majority of my Xbox game collection and my game collection in general is physical games. All of my physical Xbox games work exactly the same as my physical games for other consoles and my physical movies. I play digital games too, but I will always prefer digital being an option, rather than a replacement. That doesn’t just apply to video games, that also applies to movies, TV shows, music, books, all types of media. With digital and streaming it can be taken away from you anytime and made not available at all unless you pirate it. With the physical version of a game, movie, or other type of media you actually OWN that copy. You can keep that piece of media forever. You can also sell that copy, return it, give it away, or let someone borrow it if you want to. Plus with physical you can get a used copy which can save you money. You can’t do any of those with a digital copy. Also look at what happened with the Wii, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PSP, and soon the Xbox 360. Eventually when these consoles are old, outdated, and discontinued. Their digital stores are shut down, leaving a lot of games that were only released digitally to become lost and unplayable for anyone who didn’t already have them. That happening to a digital only console would make the system USELESS. But luckily you can still buy and play a lot of games for those systems since they were released physically. Physical media is important for preservation. Also not everyone around the world can get a good internet connection, which you NEED for digital/streaming. You don’t need any internet to use a physical copy. I will ALWAYS support physical media.
I just bought a NES OLED Switch because Xbox went away from physical media. I guess I finally am "that old" because paying money for a digital game that I always have to be hooked up to the internet really drives me away. Plus growing up and trading NES games was the way to go! With a digital game, I can't ever recoup any money. Thinking about picking up a second hand Xbox One (yet again) and keep that around for the Xbox games that I always loved.
I got the old VCR Xbox and Series X. I play games on the console it was made to on. Example: i played Halo 1 and 2 on Original Xbox. 3 and 4 on Xbox 360. Guardians on Xbox one and Infinite on Series X. And mind you, i didn't start playing the Halo games until last year
Having almost exclusively played games one the Nintendo switch since 2017 I have been entertaining exactly this solution to catch up on a lost generation off games before maybe splashing out for a ps5 to catch up on those exclusives.
i collect consoles so i have an S and an X, if you collect get one, even boxed they are cheap and if you have retired your 360, there are a lot of games to play on xbox one

Dang thats a cute story
My brother just moved back in after unfortunately being homeless due to drugs. (He's doing well getting clean)
He got an Xbox One as a teenager and 10 years later he's gotten back on it and playing EA FC which is helping him keep distracted whilst trying to get sober.

Games for the One are dirt cheap at GameStop.
Thankfully there was something good from their bad launch. Every game is cheaper than most other platforms and they play offline.

The Xbox One S was my first Xbox console. Loved the backwards compatibility
Which one do recommend playing online? For example black ops 2

360 is infinitely better than the Xbox one, it’s not even comparable. No debate to be had here. Nostalgia is strong but let’s be real shall we…
@@godnamedtay I agree it's just that I had more time to use the one so I believe it is the most memorable personally, I still prefer the 360.
@@godnamedtay no, I know. I have a 2 360s and I play them all the time now
iI understand what you're saying; I have years of experience on the Xbox 360, with over 2000 hours spent operating and playing on that system.
The funniest thing is I actually bought that Xbox one halo 5 limited edition console just recently that’s shown at 0:38 💀

My hang up with Xbox One, is that it requires an internet service to initialize it after a factory reset. Someday the servers won't be there, and the console will not be able to be part of its retro golden years.

Series x is a beast
Still use my Xbox one VCR. In fact, that’s why I’m here. I was playing Diablo IV, and I streamed a lot of Starfield.
I do own a series x, but I leave my Xbox one at my parent’s house, and play on it when I visit.
Theres many factors are definitely worth considering for the One, specifically the S and X imo due to the better hardware which opens up more games to being far more enjoyable:
I have a 1TB XBOX One and thought on doing this, is it a significant inprovement in your opinion?
Yes. I have done it as well.
I love your videos thank you for putting so much effort into them
Got one this week for £40 - only had a Switch otherwise. Looking forward to playing GTA V again, and Fortnite/Rocket League at frame rates that don't suck and bit at 720p
Weird he didn't mention any of the media playback features like 4k disc player and upscale video plus kodi support
Because the OG Xbox one doesn’t not have a 4K disc player
Good stuff for $70-$80
I still play on the original Xbox One I got when I was about 13 in middle school as my main system lol, I hopefully will be upgrading to a PC soon
4 generation
Put an ssd on the xbone.
Simple Phil Spencer cross gen gaming policy which more for those 3rd party studios still use HDR tech over series X/S units ability game in Dolby Vision with HDR10 color spectrum technology. In simple words much more colors with more realistic look like AAA First party game like F1 racing or everwild or star field would look.
i would have stayed with the OG X1 had they found a way to make it without the giant power brick
Interestingly, it is possible to use a 360 power brick to operate an Xbox One, although it is not recommended.
As someone still rocking a Xbox 360 in 2024, this would still be a decently big upgrade especially now that the marketplace is closing. I'm gonna go for a series S tho alongside my "gaming" PC for my studies
alternatively, a modded xbox 360 is a great to have.
no more worrying about the marketplace shutdown
Xbox One S w/ internal SSD, amazing.
Or just buy a used Series S and get Game Pass.
@@JustinTheGreatof that is the case just get the One X 😂
If you're really going to rely on Game pass then you might as well get a One and spend less cash, a Series S will not do anything when streaming that the One can't.
Its not as budget but that's my opinion
I got my original Xbox One back in 2014 and I had some good memories on it. Then it died this year and I upgraded to Series X and I remember saying to my self “how did I ever play games before”.
Awesome points. Time to dust off the ol VCR
8th gen was wild because Nintendo should have called the “Wii U” the “Wii 2”, & Microsoft should have called the “Xbox One”, the “Xbox 720”
No, literally no they shouldn’t. Don’t quit your current job.
What if you just buy every Xbox in existence then you don’t even have to bear the option in your head
I still have the xbox one x gears of war edition and I love that thing I still play it and have good times with it😊
When Xbox One S launched I had a friend who preordered it so he sold me his launch edition Xbox one for $100, still one of the best deals I’ve gotten, runs smoothly, has a great library, and hell even halo infinite multiplayer matches run well on it

ZERO reason to with Series S's being dirt cheap and the Series X being a good value as well
If Xbox One modding was easy (to play 360/Xbox One backups offline) it would be worth it however that's not the case
Irs super easy to install a sata ssd and replace the thermal paste on the consoles. Definitely consider at least the sata ssd a mod.
@joshmcgootermier2301 The average person isn't messing with the interiors of a console, soft modding is what gets people interested

If you want the physical disc its always worth it
If you're a little more technical and are comfortable taking the Xbox One apart, I highly recommend dropping in an SSD.
I got a brand new xbox one off ebay sealed brandnew for 50$ my cuz broke my xbox series s and i bought the xboxone
Xbox series x has stellar compatibility for last gen games, but price wise Xbox one hardware is a great bargain right now. The games are cheap and fun, I’m still going back and playing a lot of Xbox one games I missed out on.
I tend to cloud game more on a small screen. E.g. mobile. I’m tempted to upgrade my Xbox one with an ssd. Speed up boot time at least.
In the UK you can get a Series S second hand for £80. I’ve seen then go for as low as £60 on Facebook marketplace.

Why does Kevin Kenson looks so much cooler than he did in 2013
This summer I bought an Xbox One X for the equivalent of about $100 and tried Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Also, I DID have the Xbox One VCR first, and overall enjoyed it. Just moved to the One S since it was being given away. I gave my One VCR to a friend and he loves it.

Arent these prone to messing up cause of faulty hardware hence the low value? Still a steal but id hate to have it crash and lose all games and data
9:27 wht???
i collect consoles so i have an S and an X, if you collect get one, even boxed they are cheap and if you have retired your 360, there are a lot of games to play on xbox one
I have a Xbox one x for 100€ and I think it’s a very good upgrade from ps4
In modern day the xbox one has some features that modern console have / don’t. Think of it as a 4/1 with the xbox one you can play last gem games, music CDs and blue ray movies.
Last time I played fortnite on my xbox it was like 3 years ago. And it could not hold a locked 60fps. While building it would repeatedly go down to 30fps and eat inputs
The Xbox One for £70 is worth it if your moving from the 360 since that gets locked out of the Store at the end of July. I heard its a decent 360 upscaler
I mainly play on PC but still have my day one xbox one and I use it as a secondary console to play with my kid.
Your video was so convincing that I went out and bought one. Only one problem, I already have one.
