    I taught myself all this over, now, 49 years of dealing with fascial constriction misdiagnosed as carpal tunnel with acute sciatica (accurate). I made myself the tools you've shown and more, and bought a TheraCane in the mid-'80s. Following along with you, I picked up the TheraCane right away to save my hands. I was still working on my traps and rhomboids when you got back to scalenes. 🙂 Only this morning did I search for "fascial constriction" and got your clip. I'm glad I did.

      @@Ariele.FosterI just read about your course. I'm going to sign up. I have the optp roller & another roller with spikes plus 2 soft balls, which I never use. I never use the roller bc it kills everywhere on my body. I used the spoke roller tonight for 1 hr & did 3 min holds in the areas that are so sore. When I would go back to that area 10 min later it was not even relieved. It still killed me. I guess this is years of built up fascia. And I have been getting regular deep tissue massage & acupuncture for years. I am always tight & sore when pressure is applied. I hope working the fascia more with your course will be the answer to release all this tension. Thank you

    When I move my head like this I hear crackling. Is that the fascia loosening? Is it good?
    TIA ❤

    • @Ariele.Foster
      @Ariele.Foster  11 місяців тому

      cracking is usually a sign of synovial joint pressure change -- not fascia at all. A physio exam can help clarify if this is a sign of some other problem or not.

    I’ve tried yoga, massages and stretching, foam rolling and even a.. my traps and shoulders get very tight along with my upper back.
    Could fascia be the reason why? I will try these later today and let you know it goes!

    • @Ariele.Foster
      @Ariele.Foster  4 роки тому

      Maybe. Or you may want to get your neck and shoulders and upper back evaluated by a physical therapist / physiotherapist. I think waaay too many people suffer with upper trap tightness for years without getting the neck testing and strengthening they deserve.

    • @Ariele.Foster
      @Ariele.Foster  14 днів тому

      Shin splints are typically a result of hard heel strike when running or landing. The way to prevent is lower leg and core and softer jump training. You would also want to rule out a tibial stress fracture in someone who pole vaults. A physical therapist can guide through all of this. To book online sessions with me: wellilo.janeapp.com
