    Still holds up today. Thanks! I added one more thing to it. Make a group 'keep by normals' so the scatter is Y up when using other types of meshes.

      the only thing I could see deprecated was manually making a ribbon sweep at the end of the tut

    about the curve issue, checking le reverse option in Curve node worked for me, instead of resample node.
    this is my first Houdini's try so not sure at all this is the best thing to do but if it could help !

    The loop stuff can be made so much simpler with attrs and a copyStamp. Is there a technical advantage with doing all these stuff with loops and those meter long expressions ?

      From my understanding copy stamp is pretty slow (and I don't really know how to use it). And I use a loop so each piece of the cliff is cut in a unique way, as a lot of it is driven by the iteration of the loop.

    Hey man! I ran into an issue after I plug the boolean node into the copytopoints node. It seems to have made the tube turn smaller and the middle apart disappearing. I followed the video over again, but it only happens once the boolean node is hooked up to the copytopoints node

      make sure the boolean tube's divisions aren't to high, or the point jitter isn't too high either. if the boolean's shape is too wonky it can mess stuff up. if that doesn't work let me know

      waluigi58 I just played with the input numbers for the radius scale and the height of the tube, but there is still some floating pieces and some little ones on the floor of the grid. Thank you for responding!

      I found out what was wrong!! In the boolean node I think the Operation option is automatically set to Subtract!!! I just need to change it to Intersect!!!
