Wrist check : today I’m wearing my 1950 Hamilton “Frankenstein”. It’s a recased 1950 Hamilton pocket watch in a very Panerai-like square cushion silver case on a brown alligator leather strap. Odd? Yes.
Wrist check- today was GMT Rootbeer. Yesterday Tudor BB Burgundy on rubber strap. Tuesday was Speedy Sapphire Sandwich. My Tudors are still some of my favs.
Started my official collection journey with the santos . I have others but they don’t deserve to sit next to this watch. Can’t wait to give it some good company
Yes, well done! Besides two watches, that's mine and every watch-lover's list! But having the Swatch and the Casio and not having the PP Nautilus and specially Xenith El Primero for the race for the chronograph, it's really a pity... Wirst Check - Baume & Mercier Classima Open Heart.
Man! Honestly, I'm still regretting not being able to get into my watch box that Zenith EL Primero Chronograph! Wished I could get one at a bargaining price!
The Overseas looks fantastic but my OCD cannot get over a 5th (it should be 4th/quarter) of second sub second track with an 8 beat per second movement! There is no need for a sub second track outside of the five minute/minute one on a three hand anyway and it should just be a steel rehaught IMO.
Some great picks. I must admit to having tried on most of the available ones at various boutiques and AD’s. I also love seeing the varied pieces your viewers have. Today I’m wearing a vintage Seamaster De Ville with quick date set.
Wrist Check - I am wearing a 1960’s Swiss Made Midilux Automatic with an ETA cal. 2452 in 34 millimeters. My first mechanical watch, I absolutely adore it. It features a beautiful sunburst blue dial, so I am wearing it on a gorgeous blue leather strap, in the same shade of blue.
Great watch. I have the gen 1 version. Needs to go in for a service though along with my seamaster 300m chrono. I fell in love with the seamaster 300m chrono when I saw Cody and Mitch wearing one in the old Baywatch series.
My grail watches amega speedy, jlc reverso med size,VC 222 and American 1921,ap royal oak,ALang & söhne chronograph, and anything from fp journe and kari voutilainen 😊😊
A HUGE congratulations to you Sir!!! You have won our giveaway. Could you please email marketing@chisholmhunter.co.uk and we can get all the details sorted? 🙌
Wrist check: cheap Seiko X Solar, but I own an Omega Sapphire Sandwich Moon watch and a Breitling Aviator on a lightweight titanium bracelet. So many great watches, so few discretionary dollars 🤣
Can’t be bothered with what everyone has or wants! Real world wrist check: Citizen BM8180… love this watch.. wear it on the links when it is hot! As reliable as my Ping Eye 2s!😎
Missed on list IWC Pilot (!), Rolex Daytona, Patek Nautilus (more iconic than Overseas). Tudor & Moonswatch, Casio could be left outside of list (even though I own all 3).
Great video mate..........as always!! But, it amazes me that so many iconic "sought after" watches are so fkng boring! Sub mariner, Royal Oak, Black Bay, Santos.
The first diver watch was the Blancpain Fifty fathom released in 1953, the submariner was announced at Basel World in 1954 (it’s documented and easy to verify), but Rolex states on its website “launched on 1953”… pure marketing stunt, playing on words, just like the explorer and everest… anyway when the video starts with the Rolex marketing material that made my ears bled…
100p incorrect the Blancpain fifty fathoms being the first dive watch claim has been debunked. Blancpain has been pushing that false narrative since 2002. They lied through their teeth. The articles are there check it out the brand is beyond lame

I have been tempted buy a Speedmaster or a Tag Carrera Glassbox but something about both just isn’t pushing me to purchase. Possibly because I really want a Panda Daytona but won’t pay over RRP
On the wrist tonight Mr B..Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow 1957. This was the fatal wormhole that was fallen into a few years ago. You know it's an addiction, don't you..? Keep up the good work HB..
I would remove the BB, from the rest I like the Moonswatch not as a watch but as a marketing concept. All the others I think are not questionable. I would include a Panerai, truly iconic.
I have a beloved 2021 Omega Speedmaster "Moonwatch" on my wrist right now. Love the bracelet, could not be happier with it!
Nice video. I have an Omega De Ville solid 14K gold vintage (1963) on my wrist today. Love this watch. 👍

LOL
@@RPE-OfficialYou can collect interesting watches under “luxury level” if you’re blue collar.
You arent poor if you cant collect watches from Patek and AP😂😂😂
There isn't much to watches other than their movements. A poor man's collection will still be 90% there.
Define poor?
Sub £100!
Or sub £500, is not really cheap or poor.
Baume & Mercier Riviera 10714, with 39mm case, transparent smoky blue sapphire dial, and blue alligator leather strap 👌
Wrist check: IWC Pilot Mark XVIII Heritage Titanium. A lovely and super lightweight watch for the weekend

Agreed with pretty much all of these save for Tag Heuer. Don't care for them, but the rest... spot on!
Tbh i have a comprehensive collection but today I am wearing my good ol SKX009. Class less classic daily beater..👍👍
Casio on the wrist today because my explorer ii is getting engraved on the caseback at the moment.
Great stuff, love the video. On my wrist Aquaracer Professional 200 in blue
Nice view, but had a debate with a watchmaker. Both didnt see the point of spending 4000USD for a Service and spending 400USD for a braclet link.

The Cartier Santos is on top of my list. (Going to get one early next year.)
Very good list overall other than for the Moonswatch!!
Drop the swatch and replace it with a Seiko. Turtle or Alpinist me thinks.
I go surfing in a submariner and an Explorer. If I still dived I would wear a submariner diving too. I would not dare wear it in London though 😬
Which model? I have a 14060M and love it!
Cheers
You nailed that from a collectors point of view 😊
I always wear my casio square solar on the weekends while I work in the shop. That's what is on my wrist now.

Actually, this is incorrect and a myth. The Rolex sub WAS the first out, with Blancpain following the next year.
Blancpain has a hard time deciding on their own year of inception.
A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing…Delve deeper and you’ll see the Sub was actually before the FF.

Got my IWC Pilot's Chronograph 41, racing green dial, green rubber strap on! Would love to see you do a review of this bad larry!
Love that watch. I am looking to put a green strap on mine! But IWC strap is £270 🤦🏽♂️
@cookingwithchauhan1924 yeah I paid out for the strap AND the buckle. Is it stupid expensive? Yes. Do I like it and enjoy it? Yes. Haha
i took my submariner diving and surfing recently. some of us still use them for their intended purpose.
