    It would be so great if you could test the consumpsion at different speeds like 80/90/100/110/120 so you could find the sweet spot between consumpsion and speed. With this car for example increasing a 33% of speed translates into a 50% of consumpsion increase but in the Enyaq only represents a 42%.

    • @helderpais2169
      @helderpais2169 2 роки тому +1

      I am pretty sure that the slower the lower the consumption, since the wind drag increase and electric cars have 1 single gear. One of the reasons engine cars have sweet spots is because of the gear box. That's why you now have cars with 10 gears just to reduce the RPM at any speed.

    Mach-e has a bigger battery but also notice the tire width compared to the others. The Mach-e weighs almost 2000 kg. and has skinnier 225 tires than most regular sedans that wear at least 235s. The Mustang Mach-e has skinnier tires than any other Mustang in the lineup as well which is odd because they are all smaller and lighter but have tires that range from 235s-265s.

    As (in Norway at least) there has been alot of focus on max payload on electric cars lately, it would be great if you could include this in you spreadsheet. That way, viewers can get an idea of what is possible to carry around in the car(passengers + luggage + roofbox/rack). We might also get a bit more focus on this from the manufactures as well.

    It's a nice looking car and the performance and range are very good but I'd take the ID.4 GTX or the Ioniq5 AWD on a road trip before I would take the Mach E. Charging speed too slow for road tripping. I've seen other videos where the Mach E take 45 minutes to go from 10% to 80%. 36 minutes for the ID.4 and 18 for the Ioniq5. Thanks for the videos. Well actually the charging speed on Mach-E and ID4 is exactly the same. According to Bjorns video, Mach-E charges 56 kWh in 36 minutes and ID4 charges 56 kWh in 36 minutes. Mach-e takes only longer to 80% because it has 10 kWh more battery than ID4. Mach-E charges even fast than Ford claims (41 minutes Bjorns result vs. 45 minutes Ford claims).

    The efficiency really tanks at higher speeds (120 km/h) to as bad as the Ioniq 5 AWD with 19's. This despite running on bicycle tires (jk) and being RWD. Is Ford modernizing the idea of "no replacement for displacement" with "big battery better"? It is crazy the the model x has better efficiency at 120 km/h rolling on 255/20's.

      Well but also remember that they were cheap, most parts came right off the Falcon. I've driven both a Falcon and several 1st gen Mustangs from the 60s and they're all the same. Surprisingly rickety even for a car of that age.
      It's basically a sporty version of an economy car, like a hot hatch of its day.
      Later generations grew in size and werent quite the same. The low point is probably the Fox Body in my opinion.
