Lets all appreciate the fact that this video was shot, edited and uploaded while Derek and his family are on the road. This is no small task!
Allegedly 😁
Everyone else on hotel interwebz > 😡🤬😩 😁
@@daggarflynn9637 gotta pay that 4.95 extra
for the go juice interwebz when you go to town.
One of the many reasons this channel is so great.
To be fair, a lot of channels do that
What a treat to see the 54 Dodge at the track. That had to make you feel good to meet with the owner again.
I love that car, it was awesome as a fan to see it getting used.
The 54 Dodge was the first episode I ever watched. I've been hooked every since. Keep them coming Derick, love that you have always been family friendly!
Same here! That was the episode that hooked me
The number of people walking around HRPT with VGG clothing on representing the brand you have
created is pretty impressive. Just goes to show how hard you have worked to get where you are. If you work hard for what you want, you will accomplish anything you desire in life. Keep working as hard as you do. You're an inspiration to all the people watching your videos. Really hope I get the opportunity to meet you this week!
That old Dodge is my favorite of all the cars I have watched you wrench on. Glad to see it is still out there!
A VGG video on a Tuesday? This week might not be so bad after all! Y'all have fun and be safe!
It's Power Tour
Truck broke down bad. He's looking for a place to park it and another ride!!
@@intentsmodz what really?? The crew cab, or Longmire?
@@dhag72 I'm hearing it's the transmission. It was locking in 2nd gear
@@intentsmodz damn that sucks, yeah I seen the 2nd gear issues in this video, I'm glad it wasn't Longmire but I mean, still sucks
I have terrible timing. I walked around for hours trying to find you guys with no luck, only to see myself in this video leaving as you were coming in 😂. I've never cared much for meeting celebrities, but had a guy gotten to meet you I would have been happier than a 14 year old girl at a Backstreet Boy concert in 1999. You and your videos have brought back my love for classic cars and helped me remember all the good times I had helping my dad work on his 69 Caprice... Keep up the awesome work!
Sorry I missed you!!
JESSICA'S TRUCK...The best thing for making your front inner fenders is that all my old body drop and bag buddies used to use aluminum/steel trailer fenders then cut and weld them in. Hope this helps y'all! 👌🤘
So nice to see the old dodge you saved still on the road. I remember that rescue. Plus when you took it out and ran it on the snow track. Just plain awesome!
That Dodge Royal is my favorite car you’ve ever revived! It was so great to see that beauty!
32:15 The wires for the tail light and brake light run up the inside of the steering column so that you can have a signal light. I have seen the steering column housing cut into those wires (takes years but it seems that vehicle has had years to cut) and start shorting them out. Such usually causes a blown fuse. In any event, consider checking the wires coming out of the bottom of the steering column for a cut.
The old dodge that's in the intro sound, now can be considered vgg history way to cool, also the lineup for power tour all doing well and looking the part is shaping up for a perfect time.
Derek, thank you so much, I’ve begun to regain some passion for working on vehicles again, and it’s all from watching your videos. Keep up the awesome content please!!!
The '54 Royal was my favorite of all your revivals. Mega thumbs up!
U know it feels good looking out the mirror n seeing all your rigs going at the same time ....thanks for bringing me along
I wondered what had become of the baby Hemi, glad to see it out and about. One of the favorites that i go back to on a regular basis to watch.
man seeing that old dodge car was epic. i remember back earlier in the channel you working on it. i was sour that you got rid of it but looks like you sold it to the right feller. nice video derick. enjoy the rest of the tour.
It was awesome seeing you there! Thanks for snapping a quick picture with me, I will definitely be going to the tour next year. Also a much bigger feller in person.
Hey Derek, I met you down there at ATL motor speed way for a split second. You seemed pretty busy and you were with your family so I didn’t want to interrupt. Just wanna say thank you for inspiring me to tackle new challenges in the mechanic industry, keeping things interesting, and teaching me to as you said to “jump in with your eyes wide open”
.. or as he would say, "Teeth first." ha.
Glad the rigs ran decent and made it safe with minimal issues. Stay safe and have a great ride.
Friend of mine used that AT-205 in his early 2000s 5.3L to also solve a rear main leak and it hasn't leaked since. Takes a little bit to start working but once it does it's a great product!
Isn't that 54 Dodge the one that is sliding through the snow in each Vie Grip Garage intro's? Good to see it again.
The first episode of VGG I caught was of you working on that old Dodge! Love that car!
Super cool that someone brought an old VGG car to powertour. Nice to see it again!
Hay Derek thanks for helping out Half Ass Kustoms .you have great heart. Have fun on the tour.
That's amazing that you can keep putting these old school together and keeping them on the road running in Tip-Top shape keep it coming I have watched and learned so much from you man appreciate you for sharing the knowledge and things that you do know
Great job on the video, really enjoyed watching them tackle the 250-mile challenge effortlessly.
Safe travels! Thanks for taking us along! Have fun! Power Tour will always be a special thing for me,it's where I met a feller a couple years ago!
My son and I were hoping to make the tour this year, but couldn’t quite pull it off…..thanks for letting us ride shotgun, though! You do a fantastic job with your video production (even on the fly). Just wondering where you get all your music…..love that stuff!
I think the first episode of VGG I watched was when you did that blue Dodge. It's nice to see the feller keeping it going!
I’ll always enjoy these events through your eyes. I doubt that I will ever get to experience for myself. I hope you appreciate the fact that you can entertain us fellers that are just trying to get through our mundane lives. It really makes my day when you videos post. Keep being you.
I can't say enough or even how much just watching any of vgg it don't matter if I've watched the episode 1000 times I just enjoy the videos they make you laugh and at the same time can catch some nostalgia. this channel will always be important as things and people get older so everyone can see and remember how great cars and trucks where then compare to today's vehicles
U guys rock thanks as always for bringing us along! 🇺🇸
I got impatient waiting for parts for my 68 C10, and I took the lenses off the turn signals, and tail lights, and clear coated them. It worked great.
That was another awesome episode Derek. It was also great to see the Old Dodge Royal still running strong. Thanks for sharing this amazing experience with us. ✌🤜💥🤛
Boy do I remember that old Dodge. Still one of my favorites, and it is still in your intro.
Derek coming in CLUTCH with a Tuesday upload!!
3 awesome vehicles on an adventure...doesn't get better than this guys!!! Thank's for bringing us folks who can't be there along for the ride!!! Have a blast n be safe guys, all the best!!!
The tour is definitely on my bucket list! But man is it one expensive road trip...
We got some "rapid unscheduled disassembly" Love this channel!
That 54 Dodge is awesome! Great to see you all there Derek, Jessica, and crew!
Its so nice to see that old dodge, I always had a good feeling about that car !!!! I'm so glad he left it all intact, rock on !!
Derek and team, thank you so much for allowing us to be part of this wonderful event😊
That blue Dodge Royal revival was the first VGG vid I ever watched! I clicked on it because no one ever talks about that era Chrysler and I think they're neat (even though I'm not exclusively a MOPAR guy per se). Derek as usual was really funny in the video so I kept watching plus he's had some pretty cool builds and revivals etc. over the years obviously. Anyway nice to see that old rig again!
Thanks for the updates and ride! Looking forward to the next one! Thank You for everything!
Really hoping to catch up and meet a guy! My dad and I are picking up power tour tomorrow in rockingham and hope to finish out the rest of it. It will be our first time out for it, so it will be a completely new experience for us
Hard to beat a Holley carb, a turbo 400 and a gear vendor overdrive…
Since most of these events you are traveling with friends in multiple cars, cb radios would be a cool addition to these rigs for communication purposes.
Or, say.... cell phones? Oh wait.;-)
Nah, cb's , cannonball style. Lol
Breaker, breaker, one-nine, we got ourselves a convoy!
Thank you for bringing us along in your tour. Appreciate the extra videos!!!
Another great episode Derek, thanks for bringin' us along. So awesome to see all the old stuff out on the road. Coming up July 15th in Emmett, Idaho is Cruise Night...1979 and older vehicles cruise the main drag through town....they all meet at the city park around 8am, park all the cars, a show and shine most of the day and the cruise starts around 6pm, they close off the roads, and let em cruise....so awesome to watch. Everything from old Model A's and Model T's, to built rat rods, hot rods, etc. Myself, I love when they keep 'em stock but they come up with some really awesome performance stuff too. Wish my aunt would have gotten her 72 Mustang El Grande going, I would have cruised it for her, needs some work though, and I'm pretty sure the thing is stone dead because its sat for the past 4-1/2 years unfortunately.
I replaced the sparkulators and ignition lightening coils in my Superduty V10 last weekend, what a chore that was, not too bad, just a terrible lack of space to work in to get to them.
Have a safe trip and great time! Thanks for all the entertainment.
Watching Derek drive his vehicles around the back country roads it always amazes me how similar the countryside is to rural England. Narrow two lanes through wooded rolling hills.
Awesome rigs you guys! Hope you have a blast on Power Tour, Stay Safe and God Bless!
Eventually I’ll do one of the hotrod powertours with my car, I’ve always wanted to but never been able to yet. It’s definitely on my bucket list on things to do, but thanks for sharing with us. Keep up the great work and best of luck.
great video congrats on your cars making it without problems. That Challeger looked like it only did a one wheel peel.
The grandstands, Pressbox and Luxury suites are still looking impressive. As are the Apartments there at Atlanta Motor Speedway. My friend Jon Williams and I designed them for the owner (B. Smith) when they changed the race track from oval to it's current Big D shape or tri-oval. Southern Bleachers built them and they did an excellent job. The design was so good Mr. Smith used it for the Texas Motor Speedway.
Yea! A Friday video on Tuesday!!! I love your videos. I think I have watched them all over the years. And I am waiting on my "Bring The Thunder" keychain. Two chances for the Dew car. And it is a Buick!
Thanks for taking us along on the power tour. Day 1 seemed like a success and I hope you can keep that transmission shifting.
Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us. Ordered and got my merch and have gotten some compliments on the shirts. Again, thank you for what you do!
I've gotta make it to a power tour one of these days. Looks like a blast.
Have fun, be safe, post often... Thanks for sharing the trip...
Cool video. Thanks for taking us along. Bet it was that transmission that left ole VGG stranded.
Been looking forward to seeing power tour videos!
I've always dreamed of bring my rig down for power tour. It will happen. Love this content.
Doesn’t matter if they make it or not,……it’s the journey as far as it goes…..all the best from Montreal, Canada and a subscriber 🇨🇦👍
Y’all went through grovetown earlier and had me driving around all day😂. Loved the whole thing.
Good show Derek. Have fun looking forward to the backroad adventures
Awesome as always. Wish I would have known earlier since I moved from Jersey to South Carolina I would have loved to come see you in person. Keep doing what you're doing, love all the content!
It was great to see the trio of vehicles make it to the Atlanta speedway. All of you drive carefully and have a great time 👍✌️🇺🇲
We love the videos. I thought I was the only one who couldn't find the entrance to the infield lol. We just left my truck in the registration lot and walked in the pedestrian tunnel, so we didn't miss some meet and greets. Turned out great because when we came back to get my truck, my wife saw y'all getting ready to leave and was able to get some pictures with y'all. We were in the orange 67 C10 stepside. Our 350 mile round trip was well worth it! She made it with no issues. Hope to see y'all again soon.
Great video Derek. Love all your cars but that 54 Dodge Royal you use to have is my favorite. I seen a bunch of those old hemis in a junkyard, but that was a long time ago.
I keep meaning to comment with this. I got to meet DW at Sonoma Raceway a few years back. Such a cool dude. Very gracious. I was actually working the race, doing social media displays for it, and I ran in to him at the craft food tent for production. He was a gentleman, even though I was in full fan boy mode.
Dereck and crew thanks for sharing. Just love the sound your cars put out. Jessica looks like she is having a ball. Can’t wait for the next video. Have fun Artie 🇺🇸👍
Great to see the scenery and small towns on the backroads , 👍
Very cool to see the Dodge again. Y'all be safe and have fun.
Many thanks to you for doing these great videos and bringing us “along for the ride”! Greetings from Sweden.
I’ll be dipped, another upload! God bless you and the family Derek! Safe travels🤘🏻
Ole Dodge looks good with the clear! Longmeyer looks to good from behind going down the road. Thank you for bringing us along! Stay safe🙏🏻
I love that you guys are doing it old school this time! Be safe out there!
early 60's chevy fleetside my all time favorite pickup - more episodes rebuilding this specimen please!!
rock on dude
Drive safe Y’all! Enjoy the ride
l realy do think alot of you show Derek you keep it so intertaining aswell edukasyonal for old guys like me. l watch your family and friends you have around always keeping clean so l can let my grandson watch un filtered.
Thanks for the early week video. Hope things are going well on power tour and that you’re having fun.
Hi, Derek, it's great to see all three of your rides doing well so far. I do have one possible problem that I think I'm seeing with Longmire; the rear end is looking quite low, and I have been seeing a lot of concern about what is called "the Carolina Squat". I hope that doesn't cause Jessica or you, or who-ever may be driving it at the time any problems. I have been reading about a lot of problems in North Carolina over this issue. (I'm living in South Florida so I don't see that problem down here) I just don't want to see any of your group have problems. God Bless and stay safe and have a Fantastic Hot Rod Power Tour.
florida n
Awesome video Derek! Hope there's no more issues and yall make it home safe! Can't wait to see that truck.
Truck died. He's looking for a place to store it & a new ride to finish the tour!
@@intentsmodz uh huh.. Guess we'll see on the next video
On a Tuesday! You continue to amaze me with your work ethic
Really liked that 54 Dodge episode. Great video! Be safe out there.
It seems that you took all the right steps to make sure that you wouldn't run out of Chads on this year's Power Tour. That's really what separates the pros from the rooks!😅
Yo Derek one of the fans of your channel came into my work this past week and hooked me up with free passes to an event and we bonded over his VGG hat and just wanted to say thanks for being awesome, I should have known once I complimented his hat I had a new friend, much luck on the road trip!
That is awesome!
Thanks for the ride along 👀 Looking like a great adventure 💯
Loved it! I wanna do that one day. But I don't have a cool car to bring😂 can't wait for the next video!
you rock man! Absolutely love all your content. You've been a big inspiration to me to finish some of my project's. I've got a 65 buick special soft top that I'll hopefully have together enough to bring to hot rod tour next year and hopefully meet a fella. Thank you for all you do
I really enjoy being one of your vicarious "passengers" on these road-trips, Derek and Jessica. Thanks.
Staying up late in the UK to watch this, thanks guys, you never disappoint! :)
What time is it there? It’s only 7:00pm here in Pennsylvania/ USA
@@Dick_Fitzwell69 Hi, it's around half past midnight in the UK now, 00;30. :)
Man, longmire is such a beautiful truck
Looks like I know what I'll be watching for the next while love the content. Also I have been watching for 5 or 6 years now.
Have to admit that Dodge Royal was my favorite car from the "early days" of the channel. Ran great and did it all. Even made the VGG opening sequence. Nothing like a gen 1 Hemi. So glad we got to see it again! Have fun be safe!
Drive safe and above all, have fun!
👍👍
Ohhhh the Royal..... I love that car... one of my favorite vids you made.... please don't ever remove it from your Intro.... thanks for sharing!!!!! You inspired me to buy a 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe mostly customized already....but schweet ....
damn wish I had the money to do these car shows like this. Felt like I was there!
