DUPE any LEGENDARY in Baldur's Gate 3: Weapon Duplication Glitch

- We show you how to duplicate ANY weapon including legendary weapons in Baldur's Gate 3. This glitch is complicated with several unexpected hitches so you want to watch all the way to the end.
You can do this at the start of Act 3 at the Rivington Circus. Boney the Mud Mephit will sell you a statue of the character talking to him. You only want to wield one weapon, the one you plan to dupe. Command drop will take the dupe off the statue, but you probably need to blind a camp follower and pick up the weapon in stealth because of a bug. Boney is impervious to pickpocketing. To get back your 5,000 gold, you should kill him in a cloud of the spell darkness. You can use Withers and divine intervention for level 10+ clerics to duplicate a single legendary mace multiple times. The self-same trial in Act 2 of Shar's Temple cannot be used to duplicate dropped or disarmed weapons.

baldur's sword seems to be the best option here if you have 2 characters that can wield it ofc
Pact Blade warlock.
Bind pact weapon.
Add binded weapon and random weapon to wares.
Sell wares infinitely at the price of bound weapon.
Bound weapons cannot be sold off your character.
(You will have to buy back the other weapon if you want it back. Easy to do as this is an infinite gold trick)
Has this been patched out as for today and does it work on consoles?
didn't work for me, made a statue with the Nyrulna trident and when I succeeded a command: drop against the statue, got the text that it had succeeded, but there was no weapon on the ground to pick up
Try a different one than the trident. It still works with several others. The Trident seems to stay on the statue. Perhaps changing the person holding it may get it to drop.
command: drop don't work with bound/returning weapons. Or at least should not work...

The trident has the text you cannot be forced to drop the trident so I’m guessing that holds true for the duplicate too

Ive been trying to find a way to kill it so i can dupe armour too but no luck so far. Interestingly if you become a displacer beast, you can teleport it around but thats about it

@@MinosPrimeInHisPrimeOngOng I have not sadly, and disarming it is gone now too :(. Best idea I had was teleporting it onto a big box tower but didnt take fall damage. Havent tried on latest patch but I doubt anything changed

Can you use basilisk oil to turn the statue into a human?
I just tried this and I think they fixed it. The statue can't drop it's weapon anymore.

bro i was so exited to get an extra 10% crit chance by duping bloodthirst... bbut its bound. fml
Make sure it is showing up in the hand animations before commissioning the statue.

Wrong video :} This is about duplicating weapons. This weapon dupe was patched with Patch 3 though.
