    Quick overview of the Fuel-It! flex fuel sensor we're using on the Mom Wagon. Part numbers used are outlined in the video, and available on the shelf at most parts stores. Total was around $420 including the Ethanol sensor.

    Awesome content for the ST community!

    Hi! Thanks for the video! If I understood correctly, this only allows you to read the current ethanol percentage blend in your fuel. Once you know that, do you tune the ECU? If so, do you use a handheld tuner? How often do you do this?

      I am so sorry for the late reply on this, for some reason I wasn't seeing all of these comments. Correct, this only tells you the content, you then need to adjust the tune accordingly. Thanks for watching!

    Awesome - is there a good ground point to use for the fuel it that you used?

      I used one of the bolts secured to the bracing in the cowl panel right by the fuse box. The fuel-it! sensor is relatively low current, and the bracing there seems to be an adequate ground point so far.

    What model number is the fuel it sensor? They have a couple. They only show for 2.3 ecoboost. So would this be the universal with 3/8 connections? Also it asks on site what size sensor small medium or large? Which did you get?

      #13577379 - That should have 3/8 in/out and be the exact one you see in this video.

    When I contacted Brett about the kit he told me to get the 5/16th he said it works with his kit do you no if that's true

      I definitely would recommend to go with what Brett advises, however I will say my Fuel-It sensor is 3/8", which is the size of the ST's fuel lines. Might make double sure that's what Brett recommended before ordering just in case.

    The kit you showed is for 5/16 fuel line. But you have all 3/8 hardware?

      Hello! The fuel-it sensor kits are available in both sizes, and correct you will need the 3/8 size one for the ST. Thanks for the question!

      On the Fuse box for the actual cable you bought off Amazon did you still use a 20 on the jumper cable or did you use another number

    • @BigAlsGarage
      @BigAlsGarage  11 днів тому

      @@jonathanirizarry3246 , I used the smallest fuse available, I believe like a 5a for the jumper fuse since the flex fuel sensor does not require much current. I wouldn't use more than a 10A at the absolute most.

      @BigAlsGarage sounds good so the Fuse connector I could use a big one and use a 5v for the actual connector

      @BigAlsGarage I'm looking at my fuses and I have a 5v small and a 5v big connector the others are 15 and 20 so I was thinking I could use a big connector and use the 5v Fuse for the sensor if that makes sense
