Thanks Cal, very information rich video. Might mention that since the Brown Trout planting program is no longer supported, many of us Old Timer's at Almanor are practicing "Catch & Release" for the Brown's if boated in good shape and no injuries.

Heading up to Silver Lake in a couple days. I’ve never been there but the old timer I kayak fish with has. He’s older and won’t kayak fish Almanor because of the wind. Have you ever fished Silver Lake?
