Why do all of the black fraternities and sororities not have frat or houses? The non black Greeks are living in mansions on these campuses and y’all don’t even have your own houses?
The Nationals refuse to support those houses because if something goes wrong people can sue the Fraternity as a whole so no houses can be displayed with the letters unless it’s the chapter letters
The AKAs have a house on sorority row at Alabama. When they first moved in there were a lot of racist problems. It was so bad my aunt would not let my cousin go there.

Just from the outside lookin in as just a “regular”(former)college student around campus these were my personal stereotypes of some of the frats Kappas- Always showin off for the females Ques- 9/10 the loudest/most aggressive in the room (was cool with a few I had class with tho lol) Iotas/Sigmas- the more down to earth/ chill frats(was cool with quite a few from each) Alphas- The mix between Sigmas & Ques
I went to Morgan and even though iota was founded on my yard, they were still kind of looked at like not part of the divine nine, it was more like divine eight. It’s some old… old single letter chapters on my yard.. like your gamma chapter 1916, which is damn near as old as your organization, kind of hard to compete with for an organization founded in the 60s. All of my friends were PBS.. and it was an eclectic group, from nerds, to Mr. Morgan, State University, to thugs with high GPA’s, to athletes, musicians, it was like everything jumbled into one, pretty boys, they had it all, so I don’t know who the most popular group was. On campus, Delta and a.k.a. We’re crossing lines of 1 million each… that kind of boost, popularity, but it definitely wasn’t the iotas

I don't think that Frats and Sororities are evil. If anything they promote acts of service towards movements to make change, and help those in need. Wouldn't God promote loving and helping others in need? Yeah sure they party, but majority of HBCU Greek Life is Work, Service, Community, Selflessness, Self awareness, Betterment of self and others, Brotherhood and Sisterhood.
And there are chapters of these organizations that are God centered, they go to church together on Sundays, have Bible Studies and all in all serve God.
🩷💚 here and I love the D9. The only difference I see are the colors. People are going to be people, but these orgs have been built on service and I love that. I love my Sorors and I respect the other orgs ☺️

My mom's an AKA and she's really humble and down to earth. She has a PhD and will spend a bag on purses and her dogs lol. BTW my dad is a sigma
