Whew…I renounced and denounced my membership in Delta Sigma Theta last year after 12 years in the organization. I was a chapter president and VERY very involved in the chapter. What Tommy is expressing is the TRUTH. I felt so convicted even watching this because I didn’t want to think back to all the details of that time that I’ve already renounced and denounced. So that prayer at the end, I said it too!!! Even though it’s been over a year…I still grieve. Walking away was Very difficult and heartbreaking considering the relationships and love I had/have for the women in the sorority but being obedient to the Holy Spirit meant more to me… I used to be the one who looked down on people who denounced so harshly and felt like “you were never REALLY one of us” and so many other prideful thoughts but now I am rejoicing with every one of our brothers and sisters in Christ who have the courage to walk away. I used to be part of Delta Sigma Theta over 20 years ago. My husband was never comfortable with the sorority life. He encouraged me to do some research and what I discovered led me to denounce that life. I said the prayer at the end of the podcast as I had never denounced the pledge. Thank you for doing this. I wanted to join Delta so bad when I was in college. Something in me didn't feel right about it. I kept hearing over and over in my head do your research. I wasn't aware about the different gods and goddesses that each organization represented. That had me like huh? This doesn't seem right... I wasn't even trying to look that deep into it but by the grace of God I did. I then ran across a video of a woman who renounced her sorority. This was before renouncing videos were all over the internet. I immediately was disappointed because I knew I couldn't join. However, years later and knowing more about the spirit realm, I'm so glad God kept me from it!!!
I wanted to pledge Delta too. Didn’t matter what I did I always felt like I was being blocked. I literally asked God why he wouldn’t let me pledge, and gave me a dream that I’ll never forget.
This is so good! I denounced and renounced my affiliation with Delta last year. And the things God revealed to me and the spiritual warfare I had to endure after coming out was intense. I urge every person that’s in these orgs or any secret society to truly seek God, and He will reveal the truth to you.

I was literally going through hell (but I was confused because life was still good). I broke down and cried out in a sincere prayer because I knew it was spiritual. I asked the Lord to lift the veil off my eyes and he showed me through dreams and visions. It’s been a year since I renounced and the Lord then commanded me to denounce 4 months later. If anyone reading this is scared, I promise Jehovah Sabaoth (the Lord of Hosts, Lord of the heavenly armies) will fight for you!! Seek Him and TRUST THAT HIS WAY IS THE ONLY WAY!
This conversation is so good and plainly informative. I know someone who's a freemason and just joined a fraternity. I warned him of the spiritual dangers before he pledged but he did it anyway. He doesn't understand the connection and truly believes he knows God. I pray the scales fall from his eyes.
@@artisticseam Keep praying for your friend. I know someone in same situation, joined the masons and then joined the fraternity. If you are a mason you can join the fraternities without going through so much of the drama. The person I know, is so lost. It’s sad watching him do this just to be accepted by others. I didn’t know he had self esteem issues. They do a lot to make themselves feel important in society. He left the church. In the mason organization they play a lot of games with the Bible, so they make them think it is a Godly organization, just like the fraternities and sororities. God is not pleased with any of these cults that use and abuse his Holy word for their own selfish gain. They bring grief on their families when they are in those organizations. All we can do is pray for them. The love of money and recognition creates a satanic stronghold.
@charityfreecharity It's really sad to see. As you said, we have to keep praying. I showed my friend several comments from former masons, one went high as the 33rd degree, and he even said that he compared his masonic Bible to the King James and was upset that it wasn't the same. My friend didn't want to believe. His biggest downfall is that he doesn't read. I told him, "That's how you'll stay ignorant." Believing everything someone else tells you. He thinks that because they open up and close with prayer, it's OK. They devil knows exactly what to do to keep you stuck.
I had a friend who went through deliverance in a class we were in together and she renounced the eastern star pledges and she said when she did a foul stench came out of her nasal cavity that stunk the whole room up. She also told me a lying spirit came out with it.
I almost pledged to this but I’m very inquisitive😅 I ask too many questions. Before I went down that road I research what the whole process of joining was and it was literally a ritual of being dedicated to a spirit. Ive seen it too many times folks personalities change after joining the greek orgs. Like a spirit took over they soul. Dont even LOOK the same. That played a huge role in me not joining cause for the longest time i wanted to. Thank God for his protection.
Communion! Exactly. I got introduced to all of this in college and more. I would say after I joined is when everything started to fall apart and I was led into new age/ other practices. I was always presented with food.
Powerful. I was very close to this in college. I got the paperwork and everything. I know that God had his hand on my life. My mother was praying against it. I came across a soror who happened to be soror to my suite mate who did not like me. The soror liked me as a person so much, until she revealed to me that my suite mate, who was her soror found out that I would potentially pledge, was in a meeting telling her sorors, while rubbing her hands together, to bring me to her, because she was planning to HAZE ME. There was a leak in the sorority, it was GOD, using the young lady who liked me as a friend, to come to me in private to let me know of the plan. I immediately changed my mind.

Just makes me think of how Masonry was created by the Caucasians back in England and they would not allow Black people to join; so, that’s when Prince Hall formed the Black version of Masonry. Will we ever learn that some doors will not be open to you, because it is not good for you. It’s amazing what we will go through trying to achieve what someone has, instead of just following the word of God and allowing him to bless to us.
I was under demonic attack. I found out that my great grandfather who was born in 1906 was a mason. The Bible tells us that the sins of the father are passed down four generations. I am a part of his fourth generation. I repented and broke all family generational curses and covenants with free masonry. The attacks lessened immediately but were still there. Months later, my aunt mentioned that my great grandmother his wife was an Eastern Star. I went back into the spirit realm repented and denounced/renounced all family covenants and curses attached to that organization. The attacks immediately lessened to almost none. Black people are so thirsty for fake prestige, ghetto notoriety and belonging as a result of being born to neglectful parents that their low self esteem blindly links up with anything that resembles family. If you didn’t ask God if you could be in any of these organizations, you shouldn’t be in it.

I could never understand why people would do anything just to be a part of a group. This is really sad to me for anyone that went through that. That is not Love of no kind of brotherhood or sisterhood.
That was the turn off for me. For any group or organization. I never wanted to be a part of a group so bad that I would humiliate myself. I always felt if you liked me you treated me kind and accepted me. If I have to prove myself and be mean and be treated bad. That didn't correlate into friendship or acceptance to me.

A line manager tried to initiate me into a fraternity which I refused . Herself and husband were in the fraternity. She described the process of getting initiated and it’s similar to what is being discussed. She staged my death without success then I was abruptly sacked from work no reason given. Third time I have escaped this experience. I became born again at 8 yrs old and love the Lord since ❤. Lost two jobs cos I refuse to so much as agree with the idea and goo with these persons. Escaped 13 road traffic accidents cos I will not join, punishment was death cos I refused.
That’s the price I had to pay for refusing to get initiated by family member and managers at work… I stood my ground in my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ despite suffering dangerous hardships. I have tasted the deliverance power of God, His divine favour amidst the hardships, His love, I understand the psalms like king David wrote. The bible is alive to me it’s like I am reliving the scriptures. Too much to write now suffice to say God is real and nothing to fear in life. God stands by His words. Good to know Go.

Shalom everyone. I dissolved my affiliation with Delta Sigma Theta after 42 years. I was merely being obedient to God. I later found out about the terminology of denouncing & denouncing. One Thing that is crystal clear: you can continue to says these oaths and vows, giving allegiance to a pagan god and profess out of your mouth that you belong to the family of God. It's no way you can mix this lifestyle with that of following God. Take time to seek HIM on the truth. May the Lord continue to open the eyes of His true followers to SEE as HE sees. Someone recited the Sol Invictus poem at a party last year...felt a bit uncomfortable as the poem itself is well written but I don't like the unconquerable soul part. A shame.

@BrianNjagi-z2q The Word describes how one who has given their lives over to Jesus, learned the truth and lived out the Gospel, but made a u-turn and has gone back to the world (fleshly desires, rebellion, sin, etc.) and compromised their right standing with God. Consequently, that person is in greater jeopardy spiritually than when they were saved. He runs the risk of even more torment by Satan and his demons, causing more struggles. However, there is hope through true repentance and hatred for sin. His heart must be even more humble and submitted, keeping mind that tomorrow's not promised to anyone. It would be a terrible thing to die in that backsliding and be on the other side of God's mercy.

This interview is amazing and hits home. I agree with everything he says with understanding a Christian can’t share the identity of Christ and a Greek God(devil). I was pledging to be An Alpha phi Alpha and went through the humiliation pledging rituals. I would have been the youngest Alpha that was ever sworn in because I didn’t even have a semester under my belt. They had to write a letter to the main headquarters which got approved. The only reason I wasn’t sworn in because a few of my line brothers dropped and they said our line wasn’t strong enough. I know now that God had protected me from partnering with this demonic oath. My grandmother & granddad were affiliated with Greek life. I was told I didn't have to if I didn't want to & so I asked my spirit if that was something I needed to do & the response was no. So I didn't pledge, I did lose some status with ppl, but God had other plans for me. I graduated from the college my mother finished from & I'm very proud of that cause it's not many 2nd generation grads when I finished. I have been asked to join many organizations but my spirit has lead me to do self mastery which serves no other for now. I do believe in servicing the community but not other God's other than self 1st.
There's no such thing as self mastery. Christ Jesus said in the Holy Scriptures that "if anyone is going to follow Me, he/she must deny him/her[self], take up his cross, and follow after Me." Self mastery is a denial of your need for Jesus to have died on the Cross, been buried, and and been raised from the dead. Where did you receive that "spirit" from that you were mentioning?
My experience may be rare, but as a 53 year old black man who grew up in the inner city (Detroit) and attended a PWI, today was the first time I'd ever heard that acronym. So, maybe it's not quite as widely used as people may think.

I used to be part of Delta Sigma Theta over 20 years ago. My husband was never comfortable with the sorority life. He encouraged me to do some research and what I discovered led me to denounce that life. I said the prayer at the end of the podcast as I had never denounced the pledge. Thank you for doing this. I wanted to join Delta so bad when I was in college. Something in me didn't feel right about it. I kept hearing over and over in my head do your research. I wasn't aware about the different gods and goddesses that each organization represented. That had me like huh? This doesn't seem right... I wasn't even trying to look that deep into it but by the grace of God I did. I then ran across a video of a woman who renounced her sorority. This was before renouncing videos were all over the internet. I immediately was disappointed because I knew I couldn't join. However, years later and knowing more about the spirit realm, I'm so glad God kept me from it!!!

I was literally going through hell (but I was confused because life was still good). I broke down and cried out in a sincere prayer because I knew it was spiritual. I asked the Lord to lift the veil off my eyes and he showed me through dreams and visions. It’s been a year since I renounced and the Lord then commanded me to denounce 4 months later. This conversation is so good and plainly informative. I know someone who's a freemason and just joined a fraternity. I warned him of the spiritual dangers before he pledged but he did it anyway. He doesn't understand the connection and truly believes he knows God. I pray the scales fall from his eyes.

If you are a mason you can join the fraternities without going through so much of the drama. The person I know, is so lost. It’s sad watching him do this just to be accepted by others. I didn’t know he had self esteem issues. They do a lot to make themselves feel important in society. He left the church. In the mason organization they play a lot of games with the Bible, so they make them think it is a Godly organization, just like the fraternities and sororities. God is not pleased with any of these cults that use and abuse his Holy word for their own selfish gain. They bring grief on their families when they are in those organizations. All we can do is pray for them. The love of money and recognition creates a satanic stronghold.

I showed my friend several comments from former masons, one went high as the 33rd degree, and he even said that he compared his masonic Bible to the King James and was upset that it wasn't the same. My friend didn't want to believe. His biggest downfall is that he doesn't read. I told him, "That's how you'll stay ignorant." Believing everything someone else tells you. He thinks that because they open up and close with prayer, it's OK. They devil knows exactly what to do to keep you stuck.

Communion! Exactly. I got introduced to all of this in college and more. I would say after I joined is when everything started to fall apart and I was led into new age/ other practices. I was always presented with food.
Powerful. I was very close to this in college. I got the paperwork and everything. I know that God had his hand on my life. My mother was praying against it. I came across a soror who happened to be soror to my suite mate who did not like me. The soror liked me as a person so much, until she revealed to me that my suite mate, who was her soror found out that I would potentially pledge, was in a meeting telling her sorors, while rubbing her hands together, to bring me to her, because she was planning to HAZE ME. There was a leak in the sorority, it was GOD, using the young lady who liked me as a friend, to come to me in private to let me know of the plan. I immediately changed my mind.

Just makes me think of how Masonry was created by the Caucasians back in England and they would not allow Black people to join; so, that’s when Prince Hall formed the Black version of Masonry. I was under demonic attack. I found out that my great grandfather who was born in 1906 was a mason. The Bible tells us that the sins of the father are passed down four generations. I am a part of his fourth generation. I repented and broke all family generational curses and covenants with free masonry. The attacks lessened immediately but were still there. Months later, my aunt mentioned that my great grandmother his wife was an Eastern Star. I went back into the spirit realm repented and denounced/renounced all family covenants and curses attached to that organization. The attacks immediately lessened to almost none. Black people are so thirsty for fake prestige, ghetto notoriety and belonging as a result of being born to neglectful parents that their low self esteem blindly links up with anything that resembles family. If you didn’t ask God if you could be in any of these organizations, you shouldn’t be in it.

That was the turn off for me. For any group or organization. I never wanted to be a part of a group so bad that I would humiliate myself. I always felt if you liked me you treated me kind and accepted me. If I have to prove myself and be mean and be treated bad. That didn't correlate into friendship or acceptance to me.

A line manager tried to initiate me into a fraternity which I refused . Herself and husband were in the fraternity. She described the process of getting initiated and it’s similar to what is being discussed. She staged my death without success then I was abruptly sacked from work no reason given. Third time I have escaped this experience. I became born again at 8 yrs old and love the Lord since ❤. Lost two jobs cos I refuse to so much as agree with the idea and goo with these persons. Escaped 13 road traffic accidents cos I will not join, punishment was death cos I refused.

That’s the price I had to pay for refusing to get initiated by family member and managers at work… I stood my ground in my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ despite suffering dangerous hardships. I have tasted the deliverance power of God, His divine favour amidst the hardships, His love, I understand the psalms like king David wrote. The bible is alive to me it’s like I am reliving the scriptures. Too much to write now suffice to say God is real and nothing to fear in life. God stands by His words. Good to know Go.

Shalom everyone. I dissolved my affiliation with Delta Sigma Theta after 42 years. I was merely being obedient to God. I later found out about the terminology of denouncing & denouncing. One Thing that is crystal clear: you can continue to says these oaths and vows, giving allegiance to a pagan god and profess out of your mouth that you belong to the family of God. It's no way you can mix this lifestyle with that of following God. Take time to seek HIM on the truth. May the Lord continue to open the eyes of His true followers to SEE as HE sees. @BrianNjagi-z2q The Word describes how one who has given their lives over to Jesus, learned the truth and lived out the Gospel, but made a u-turn and has gone back to the world (fleshly desires, rebellion, sin, etc.) and compromised their right standing with God. Consequently, that person is in greater jeopardy spiritually than when they were saved. He runs the risk of even more torment by Satan and his demons, causing more struggles. However, there is hope through true repentance and hatred for sin. His heart must be even more humble and submitted, keeping mind that tomorrow's not promised to anyone. It would be a terrible thing to die in that backsliding and be on the other side of God's mercy.

I was pledging to be An Alpha phi Alpha and went through the humiliation pledging rituals. I would have been the youngest Alpha that was ever sworn in because I didn’t even have a semester under my belt. They had to write a letter to the main headquarters which got approved. The only reason I wasn’t sworn in because a few of my line brothers dropped and they said our line wasn’t strong enough. I know now that God had protected me from partnering with this demonic oath. My grandmother & granddad were affiliated with Greek life. I was told I didn't have to if I didn't want to & so I asked my spirit if that was something I needed to do & the response was no. So I didn't pledge, I did lose some status with ppl, but God had other plans for me. I graduated from the college my mother finished from & I'm very proud of that cause it's not many 2nd generation grads when I finished. I have been asked to join many organizations but my spirit has lead me to do self mastery which serves no other for now. I do believe in servicing the community but not other God's other than self 1st.

There's no such thing as self mastery. Christ Jesus said in the Holy Scriptures that "if anyone is going to follow Me, he/she must deny him/her[self], take up his cross, and follow after Me." Self mastery is a denial of your need for Jesus to have died on the Cross, been buried, and and been raised from the dead. Where did you receive that "spirit" from that you were mentioning?
