Last week this person called my boots horrible because he was just jealous for my style and I just shrugged it off because he had no idea how great these cowboy boots really are
Damn straight. Perfect way to go. A few people will be insecure around others who are actually comfortable with their style. Good for you! Keep rocking those boots.
I have rather large feet and have difficulty sometimes finding shoes, so I figured it would be tough to find boots also. As it turned out, I went into a shop just for kicks a week ago to see if they carried my size. Turns out boots that fit me are available, but I wondered if I would feel too insecure to wear them. I didn't buy them, but later in the day, I saw a kid about 12-14 years old walking around with his parents. He had a short-sleeve button-down shirt and jeans, along with cowboy boots and what looked to be a black Stetson. That wasn't uncommon for the city I was visiting, but what stood out to me was that kid didn't display an ounce of self-consciousness. He strutted, he walked tall--or as tall as he could for being a young teen--and just looked as confident as could be. It shook me and I thought to myself, why the hell should I feel any different than this kid if I wore boots of my own? He'll never know it, but that kid changed my entire outlook. Time to go out and buy some boots!
@@JeremiahCraig You made me laugh thinking back to the day that the dry grass caught alight around the barbecue. While everyone seemed worried about wrecking their sneakers, a kid just walked over and casually stomped it out, chatting to his friends at the same time. When a few people asked him if his boots were OK, he looked puzzled and said, "cowboys stomp their campfires out every day". I could not help laughing at the way that people were reacting. 😊
When i moved from my home town (about 1000 people) almost everyone wore cowboy boots to my city (about 60000 people) hardly anyone weats them. I wear them daily and have 10 pairs (wear them everyday) in my collection (they're from the 70's to modern) i had on a pair at walmart and a stranger said he liked my boots and we started talking about boots and music (turns out he likes classic country like me) so now we hang out every weekend with our boots on listening to old country songs. The power of confidence and wearing boots in the big city is amazing
Cowboy boots are made all over the world and evolved in many places. However, I believe that they are the ultimate symbol of the American spirit! That is a big part of the reason why I wear them.
Haven't been in cowboy boots for decades. Just bought a pair of dark brown square tow Ariats and feel like a man again strutting in them! Get some if your thinking about it.
Totally. How could you not compliment a nice pair of boots!? I know everybody's different but I was wondering how the store owner could only wear boots on Thursdays. Everyday is the way to go.
My husband is 47 and I talked him into buying his first pair, because he said he always wanted to. Our teen son was a little weird about it at first and laughed, but finally realized how much his dad likes it and respects that.
Very cool. Good story. I feel like cowboy boots aren't something many people see everyday depending on where you live so it's out of the ordinary. But once you really see how much boots mean to a person, it becomes a contagious feeling. I bet your boy won't be too far behind his dad on getting a pair of boots as well!
Thank you so much. A few weeks ago I commented on one of your videos when I was insecure about my first pair of boots. The first time I wore them a girl at my school (who was also wearing boots) and I starting talking and we’ve even gone out a few times. Thanks so much for giving me kind words because without your advice I would have never met my girlfriend.
Born, raised and still living in the Bronx nyc. I wear my boots all the time. Funny story. I was once arrested and spent the weekend in what we call the tombs. I had my boots on and actually got compliments. It’s rare to see people wearing cowboy boots out here but you do see it from time to time.
los angeles guy... previously i only wore converse and vans... but for some reason i fell in love with cowboy boots! first steel toe square toe, now pointy round double h at work... then bought a black and brown pair for going out and i want more boots... so comfortable!
@@JeremiahCraig About 3. It was a black pair my Mom and Dad got me. They may have been my older brother's originally. Anyways, I wore cowboy boots a lot during my childhood. And real ones at that! Then I stopped wearing them in my teen years and throughout most of my 20s. It was just a little over two years ago that I bought my first pair of boots in almost 20 years.
As a swiss guy, I started wearing cowboy boots two weeks ago and I don't want to go back to other shoes. At first it needed some self-confidence to get out there, but now it feels more like wearing these boots is pushing my self-confidence. Most people actuelly don't even notice it. What I've experienced is that those who notice give you compliments.
I'm originally from the Dominican republic and i was fascinated with cowboy boots. I used to watch old western movies with my grandpa who own several and we develop a strong bond, now that his gone i still wear two of his lucchese boots. i hope i can inherite these boots to my future kids.
I just bought a pair of Justin boots a week ago. I get compliments everyday. I am In Kansas though. Back home in Northern Kentucky they would have put me in the hospital for wearing cowboy boots.
Ciao Jeremiah, your vids are so great! Thanks a lot. As a German male I have been wearing cowboy boots since my puberty, my first pair was Longhorn, very pointed shape and wedge heels, black suede. My shoemaker has saved it so far. And I wear them even in office. Many talks with colleagues who are admiring my Sendras, too. And they are disappointed when sometimes I wear Converse Chucks.
Yep...love wearing them every day. I started wearing them this year. My dad always wore them and passed away last year. Probably why I started. Anyway I've noticed we cowboy boot wearers tend to notice and nod to each other haha
Definitely! The boot wearers are very outgoing with eachother. It's like wearing a conversation ice breaker. I've always thought cowboy boots carry a lot of memories because they go through so much and can last so long. It's awesome to be able to carry memories like that and be constantly be reminded of your dad. That's really special man
J, I have fallen into that category for so many years. Suppressing the inner cowgirl in me. Thanks to your videos and encouragement I have already purchased several pairs and have been sporting them with pride. Thank you so much for the fantastic videos! Your subject matter and reviews are always spot on. Huge fan!
I’m Asian just 38 this year. I like country music and always wanted western square toes. I bought a pair of Chippewa pull on boots years ago but I never had the balls to wear them going out. I ended up giving them away. I’ve really wanted a pair of Justin’s work boots but still not confident enough.
I just recently started to wear cowboy boots because I don't want my dad to be the last one in the family to do so, and besides that, cowboy boots are just bad ass. He gave me an old pair of burgundy eel skins a few years back, not my choice in color but it's getting me use to wearing boots. Now I'm looking into buying a couple pairs more to my liking. Your videos are definitely helpful in my journey.
@@HarrisPilton789 I bought a pair of Los Altos in python skin, natural color and black leather and a matching belt. I want to get some gator skin in natural too.
I live in a hood ass city, I love cowboy boots but wearing them in my city feels a bit sketchy. It puts to much unwanted attention on me. So I usually wear them if I’m in a safer area.
Makes sense. Nobody ever says anything to me about my boots and I live in a similar place currently. When you give less fucks, fewer people fuck with you
I wear cowboy boots most days although I live in the city now (Berlin) and in my office I'm most fondly known as the Cowboy. I actually only get compliments on my boots.
Great advice buddy, we all appreciate the encouragement. But, on the other hand, it has taken me too many years to "get over my boot insecurities", so I do understand why guys are hesitant at the beginning. I always felt that I could "not pull off" wearing cowboy boots, for all the silly reasons. Somehow, I didn't feel tough or masculine enough, and that guys would secretly laugh at my phony look. It has taken my too many years to realize that I looked good in my boots, and it was OK for everyone to notice. Anyone that may ridicule or tease, is secretly just envious because they don't have the balls to wear the boots...It is always helpful to have a wingman or wingwoman along when you first hit the streets in your boots, "confidence in numbers" always makes it a bit easier....Thanks for all your encouragement JC....Don
Thanks for the story, Don. I think we all have had boot insecurities. I felt the same way in college and I felt like people would see me as a poser but I realized that most people don't care. It can be a long journey to be completely comfortable in cowboy boots but I just wanted to share this quick to maybe be that last push for someone to go all in. If one person feels like that after this, it was worth it. Thanks again for sticking with me on this channel. I really appreciate the support
VERY VERY motivational thanks man this video is the reason I wear my cowboy boots now it helped me a lot it's also gotten more of my friends wearing there's as well
Just getting into boots myself, and your channel has been the most helpful resource out there in learning about them. Especially the boots and jeans videos. Thank you, sir.
I'm a cowboy boot man myself. I love wearing cowboy boots because they are so comfortable and so very awesome. I get a lot of complments about my cowboy boots. That's why feel good and confident about wearing cowboy boots.
Have wanted to wear cowboy boots for years but was to big and heavy but over the past year I have lost 100 pounds and now have 3 pairs favorite is a pair of goat skin from Los Altos from yeehaw cowboy
When i was shopping for my first pair a week ago, i felt super insecure but as soon as i found the right size and style, i became very confident in myself. No other shoe made me feel like that.
As I mentioned a few weeks ago,; I was waiting for my Cartwright's from Tecovas.. got them! Honestly, it took me a week to say: ok, I'm going to keep them and wear them off the carpets. I truly love them and wearing them! It's funny that it took me so long! Thanks man! Frank from Boulder, Colorado
I am totally digging your Channel. I'm from Southern California. Straight up living in the Hood South Central Los Angeles to be exact. I own 5 pairs of Cowboy boots and I wear them like a second skin. When I'm wearing them. I don't walk... I Strut! If I wasn't already wearing my boots and not at all interested in them. After watching your channel I'd be all in. Looking for my first pair. But I've been rocking the boots since my 20s. My first pair Tony Lama black alligator. I still wear them. Women love to see men in boots with the nice jeans and the GOOD smelling cologne. Women love it. But for me.... Amazing! Could be just my State of Mind. When I'm riding my Harley and i got the boots on and my Machine is clean. You can't tell me NOTHING! But hey.... I'm Loving it. Thanks and Job well DONE. Keep the vids coming.
Jesus Tony Lama alligator were your first boot?! You went all in right from the start! RESPECT! More videos on the way! Thanks so much for watching and keep on strutting!
My hat is the last damn thing I'll give up! Keeps the sun out of my eyes and off my neck, love it. You are correct however, I do get more sh!t from it than anything else I wear though.
I was walking out of a business building and I held a door for a lady and I had some ariats with the jeans tucked in and she said those are some nice boots and I said thank you
Hi. Your statements are always so strong and good. Thank you for that. I've been wearing cowboy boots recently. At first I was laughed at disparagingly. And I have to listen to stupid comments too. Now no one says anything and I feel really good in my cowboy boots (Mayura boots)! Thank you for your support and help!!! Please excuse me, my English is not that good. Greetings from Northern Germany. 🤝👍
Thank you so much for all your videos and advice Jeremiah ! I’m a greaser and I was growing a bit tired of engineers and creepers and yesterday I stumbled upon your videos. I watched a few and started looking at pictures online thinking : “ hey those boots do look really good ! “ and today, I went to a shop in my town that I thought I would never go into and bought my first dark brown cowboy boots. They are so comfortable, so cool looking and go really well with my perfecto and other jackets. I raise my boots in the air as a knight would do with his sword and say : “ long live Jeremiah Craig and long live cowboy boots ! “ Love from Switzerland :))
AWESOME! Congrats on the new boots! This is the best. What kind did you end up getting? Thanks so much for watching and welcome to the world of cowboy boots.
Jeremiah Craig I got the 2 inches boots ^^, I’m 5 ft 8 so they add some height. They are quite snug but they are already softer than they were the first day I’m gonna get the 1 and a half inch boots soon, I love the heel shape of these ! Thank you for your reply, it’s cool to see that you take time to talk to your fans :) Btw my real name is John Seeberger, I joined your cowboy boots club yesterday

Would love to see what you went with.
Just like you said they're easier to put on and walk in each time Thank you for all your kind words Jeremiah :). I'm looking forward to your next videos ! I will share pics of my boots soon, I have to go with my brother to a sunny spot this week so I can get some good looking photos. oh and I went on a little motorcycle ride today and I listened to " Voices in the overtones “ on repeat, and let me tell you, with the sunset, the mountains and the lake, man... awesome ! Your music makes me feel like you are telling me stories near a campfire. I did not know a whole lot about folk music but that's another thing that you made me discover ^^ ! May the Force be with you !
I haven't worn cowboy boots for many years, but just started to wear them again and I missed out on how great they are to wear! They go with any outfit and just look cool on your feet. I know this will get laughs from the "Die-Hard" cowboy boot fans, but the two brands that fit my feet the best are Wolverine and Durango. Yes, I said it, Wolverine and Durango! I'm not going to apologize for it, LOL!! Love your videos JC, keep it up!!!
I’m a bit insecure to were cowboy boots, al my friend make jokes of my boots, they really make me feel stupid ,I look your video, listening what you say,you right you really make me confidence to were cowboy boots, I mean it, I look all your video ,greeting from the Nederland
I'm so happy I can do that for you. At the end if the day we wear boots to be our most true selves and that's all that matters. Stay booted Savitri! Thanks for watching!
Thank youuuuuuu!!!! It's that I'm originally from Venezuela, but years of being American and I love cowboy boots so much, that that's the ONLY thing I want to wear for the rest of my life...! I already have 7 pairs and counting, and use then for EVERYTHING, but still feel people think I'm being ridiculous... 😢
I have three pairs of custom-made Wilson boots from Montana. One pair for my 1880s character for historic work with my Quarter horse as well as two other modern versions which are everyday wear. My feet demand custom-made because of high arches and wide sole which does not allow me to wear any kind of canvas/tennis shoe without significant pain to my heels from no support. Western boots eliminate that problem altogether and experience no pain. When I have no pain, I have much to gain!
i have never felt too insecure to wear cowboy boots..i am going to say something i heard when i was 5 yrs old "why should you care what other people think what you wear.your not wearing them to impress anyone so why let it bother you" . to this day i still don't give a crap what others think what i wear .i wasn't put on this planet for the enjoyment for others to judge me .so let them talk.and judge you that's there problem not yours.it just Leeds to hate for another person . i also don't let others tell me how i should dress or act the way they think i should act .there is more to life .than dressing to impress .
Man, I wear my boots everywhere I go. Jeremiah is 100% correct; it brings up many conversations that wouldn't have been started without my Laredo's. They are the most comfortable shoes I have, and I got introduced by my best friend from Virginia. So not only are they comfortable, they are friend-makers. Honestly the best shoes anyone could wear in my opinion. Not Laredo's specifically, but cowboy boots in general.
@@JeremiahCraig I just love my boots, and don't see any reason to not want to. Sure, if you find a different style out there that you like, go for it! But if you like boots, don't hesitate to flaunt them and rock them!
If i could wear hats at school i would wear my cowboy hat more. They are not confidence booster for me it is just my style. Country music is my confidence booster( even some upchurch)
Hey pal. I saw most of your videos. And this one makes me know that there is someone who is that crazy about cowboy boots as I am. 👍. It was an amazing watch. For sure. Thanks for being you👍👍👌👌
I'm insane for boots haha. I really don't know how they aren't more popular. They are so durable, versatile, fashionable, and comfortable. Literally the best footwear hands down. Thanks for your support, Mark. It means a lot.
Been wearing since 9, i only got compliments ever since, i am lucky to wear and stand out different from my crew. Because we got style that only few folks can have.
I get more crap for wearing my rodeo king 10X than my boots. The hat would be the last thing to go, love that thing! Nice wide brim that keeps the sun out of my eyes and off my neck. Extremely practical!
I just bought a couple of pairs of Ariat boots. One is the groundbreaker and the other is the patriot, both are really comfortable and several of my friends have already ordered the same ones. 👍
In my country cowboy boots are barely seen,i have my own,but in hundreds of thousand people in my country barely 10 people wear it,sorry for bad english tho
Cowboy boots is all I wear I got 5 pairs in my collection so I always got a back up if I get a hole in the sole or heel like my brown bull shoulder tony lamas got a hole in heel and the nail is stickin through so i gotta get em repaired
Love cowboy boots. Where I'm from in Ontario Canada a good amount of people do wear them. If you wear a black pair of ropers most people don't even realize you're wearing cowboy boots
Dress, casual, you name it: I enjoy it! Due to my time with the 82nd Airborne Division Band, I picked up a bad habit called spit shining. Some clowns may look down on us for wearing them. My challenge to them is to match the shine before they criticize. As for my favorite kind of music, I go for classical.
Lots of people combine spit shining with the polish! Putting the mositure into the wax does help it shine more. Matching shines of both boots can be a challenge for sure. The struggle is real!
Hey man, great vid, and I love your channel. You’re absolutely right about boots and them leading to conversations. Since I bought my Ariat Ramblers, I’ve had like 4 or 5 people come up and say that they’re really nice, and where did I get them, and it lead to serval conversations, and a sense of pride and confidence
Wow, just revisited this vid. I believe this is the first one I ever watched. About a month ago I think. I'm thinkin' who's this skinny dude talking cowboy boots! Dug the motivation and positivity so I subbed. I appreciate all of the work you do my friend and it's been a blast watching you chase your dreams! We got your back buddy so no worries!👍
I generally don't see the problem (or why people would even feel insecure wearing them). I own a pair that I wear all the time, and I'm typically happy-go-luck and outgoing. Granted, some people may sometimes mistake me for a little boy wearing hotpants and give me weird looks, though that may because my short hair. It happens.
Awesome! You know your style. I dig that. Some folks are still unsure and that's cool. That's why I wanted to make this. What kind of boots do you have?
Thanks for the videos, Thanks to you I just purchased a wicked looking pair of Roper Criss Cross CCS Concealed Carry boots today. You should show them on your videos.
Another great video ! My dad being a cattleman has always worn Cowboy boots so in grade 6 my mom let me buy my first pair of boots and worn Boots everyday since. My best friend of 30 years finally bought his first pair and had to suffer lots of teasing from his kids but once that passed he wished that he had found the courage to wear them years ago....he enjoys the masculine confidence in wearing his boots now !
Thanks! Teasing always happens in good fun but once you're really in it, the comments are just in good fun most of the time. I always like to bust balls right back for the folks who wear boat shoes and sneakers regular if they wanna bust my balls for boots. There's not a day to waste outside of boots!
Gave up on sneakers since i started working lmao and tired of wearing my works boots for outside of work too. I have Carolina loggers too but there’s also more for work steel toe and uncomfortable. So cowboy boots pretty much the only thing left
I wear cowboy boots everyday and have for years. At first I was self conscious, now I’m embarrassed if I’m not wearing them. Nothing better than pulling on a pair of broken in cowboy boots in the morning and leaving the house feeling like a badass. To hell with everyone else, rock the boots!
I've tried several times, but my calves are too huge and just can't get any to fit. I actually prefer the look of jeans tucked into boots, so they would have to have a large calf. Low top are of no interest to me.
Very true Jeremiah I actually don't give a fuck what people say about my cowboy boots especially my family got nothing nice to say about my cowboy boots saying that people nowadays don't wear cowboy boots but I seriously don't give a fuck I will forever wear my cowboy boots.
Cowboy boots are cool. I haven’t wore cowboy boots since I was a kid but I’m gonna start wearing boots again. But they can be expensive. I only stopped wearing them as a kid because the pointed toe killed my feet. But the other day I went looking at some and noticed a large number of more comfortable square toe and rounded toe and plenty more styles now available. Just gotta save up the $$$$.
You should go up a size or try a different brand if the round or pointed toes hurt. There are lots of different styles for lots of different feet. Square toes are confortable too that's for sure
Jeremiah Craig Is Ariat a good brand ? I saw a lot of cool looking boots from this brand. Cavender’s had 3 isles of Ariat and 5 or 6 isles of other brands and some crazy expensive exotics . I’m gonna try a keep it around $200. I wear 9 1/2 in my normal hiking tennis shoes.
I've heard mixed things about Ariat. Either people love them or not so much. I haven't tried them yet. I did just try the Justin Bent Rail series and that's pretty awesome for that price range
Jeremiah Craig I’ll definitely try several different brands on. They look cool but yeah they gotta fit good and be comfortable. I haven’t seen all the boot brands available in my area. I’d be hesitant about ordering online unless I knew the brand and sizing . So far I’ve mainly seen Ariat & Justin I’m sure there’s some other brands around here. Not sure what brand the exotic boots were but I didn’t look at them long with that $500 or $600 price tag. I know they probably got way more expensive. Hopefully I can get something cool for $150-$200 maybe $250 at most. Tight budget. I’ve even thought maybe later getting a western style work boot for work since traditional leather soles would kill my feet on the concrete factory floor, but I want a good real cowboy boot first.
I told my mom I wanted boots. What I didnt say was i wanted cowboy boots. So we got some doc Martin boots. And for a while i wore those. Until i was like mom I would like some cowboy boots. And she was cool with it. I wore them a lot when I was little though. I was super scared to tell her I wanted cowboy boots though.
Honestly the only thing that people say that would bother me is if they assume you are gay and hit on you because you wear pointed cowboy boots with full exposed shaft.
Boots are a thing in the gay community and that's cool. People should do what they want. I always wear my pants over the shaft anyways and rarely get hit on but that's just how I wear them
If you do wear cowboy boots thats kool. I wear them too. Just dont go around Northern Kentucky with cowboy boots on. I left Northern Kentucky almost 2 years ago and yes Northern Kentucky is that violent. Thats why i moved away
Fashion is regional, but in the United States cowboy boots can "fit in" most anywhere outside of big coastal cities. A Chelsea boot would probably draw less attention than the embroidered shaft pair of cowboy boots and serve virtually the same function and be just as easy to put on/take off. Goodyear welt and blake stitched Chelseas are far easier/simpler to resole than wood pegged cowboy boots, too.
Hey Jeremiah- I had a bit of a cowboy boot Jones several years ago and now have umpteen pairs of them (my father told me I was not a centipede!) and they’re super nice too- DAN POST, JUSTINS, NOCONA’S, Complete with hand pegged soles, etc. with inlays varying from eel to snake but HERE’S MY PROBLEM: Seems I don’t have any skinny jeans and although I’m a huge thrifter I usually go for Vintage Levis, Wranglers, etc. that are straight or boot cut. With bootcut the beautiful shaft of the boot is covered up and IMO they look best when tucked into skinny jeans- any suggestions? P.S. I also favour the roach killer/ super pointed toe (reason for the edit- ☹️)
I'm not sure. I'm not a huge fan of skinny jeans but American Eagle makes some nice stretch ones I used to have before donating them because I never wore them
Jeremiah Craig Noooooo.... Only 100% Cotton for me and True Vintage when possible (Made In 🇺🇸) via thrifting. Abhor spandex and when it “springs” it’s hideous (you know, that wrinkled area usually at the upper thighs) Guess I’m in a bit of a sticky wicket then Yeah?
I have worn cowboy boots for nearly 30 years. Nobody has ever made fun of me to my face. Most people don't pay attention to them. When people notice them, they love them. I also don't listen to much country music. I listen to Van Halen and ZZ Top.
Hallelujah Saint Jeremiah! xD Hahaha When you mentioned you're fb-group something like "Anonymous Cowboyboot Wearers" came into my mind hahahaha Keep up the good work J.!
Haha thanks Philipp! It's all about sharing the love of the best footwear available to the human race and maybe getting more people to jump on board the cowboy boot train. I appreciate you stopping by the channel again!
I REALLY want to wear cowboys boots but don't/can't wear them because I'm from the UK and it's damn near impossible to find a pair that fits right and they aint really that popular over here plus I'm 6 foot 3 and already get abuse for being tall so a 2 inch heal will just add to that abuse...
@@JeremiahCraig sizes are labelled differently here in the UK, a US size 10 is the equivalent to a UK size 9, so in the past I've tried US 9 and been too small and tried US 10 and been too big! another annoying thing is that I have very narrow feet...
Last week this person called my boots horrible because he was just jealous for my style and I just shrugged it off because he had no idea how great these cowboy boots really are

Born, raised and still living in the Bronx nyc. I wear my boots all the time. Funny story. I was once arrested and spent the weekend in what we call the tombs. I had my boots on and actually got compliments. It’s rare to see people wearing cowboy boots out here but you do see it from time to time.
haha good story. Are there any good boot stores in the city?
Jeremiah Craig not that I know of. I drive into New Jersey. There are really good shops out there.
los angeles guy... previously i only wore converse and vans... but for some reason i fell in love with cowboy boots! first steel toe square toe, now pointy round double h at work... then bought a black and brown pair for going out and i want more boots... so comfortable!
They're easy to fall in love with and you can never have enough of them!!
Hey Craig, I’m Asian American and I’ve been rocking cowboy boots for 30 years.
I always get that feel good nostalgic type feeling whenever I wear cowboy boots cause I always remember how much I loved wearing them as a kid.
Nostalgia is so real with boots. That’s very cool. when did you get your first pair?
@@JeremiahCraig About 3. It was a black pair my Mom and Dad got me. They may have been my older brother's originally. Anyways, I wore cowboy boots a lot during my childhood. And real ones at that! Then I stopped wearing them in my teen years and throughout most of my 20s. It was just a little over two years ago that I bought my first pair of boots in almost 20 years.
As a swiss guy, I started wearing cowboy boots two weeks ago and I don't want to go back to other shoes. At first it needed some
self-confidence to get out there, but now it feels more like wearing these boots is pushing my self-confidence.
Most people actuelly don't even notice it. What I've experienced is that those who notice give you compliments.
That's a great way to describe it. Boots push confidence and that's why most times you'll hear compliments from people
I'm originally from the Dominican republic and i was fascinated with cowboy boots.
Here In southwest Kansas it's odd if you don't wear cowboy boots
Yep...love wearing them every day. I started wearing them this year. My dad always wore them and passed away last year. Probably why I started. Anyway I've noticed we cowboy boot wearers tend to notice and nod to each other haha
Definitely! The boot wearers are very outgoing with eachother. It's like wearing a conversation ice breaker. I've always thought cowboy boots carry a lot of memories because they go through so much and can last so long. It's awesome to be able to carry memories like that and be constantly be reminded of your dad. That's really special man
I got 5 different kinds and feel wrong not wearing them
Me too. Wearing boots just feel natural
It’s a rare sight here in NYC, I make sure to wear the ostrich leather boots to school and to work (:
I'm a black male from Arizona not too many people out here wear cowboy boots but I want to give it a try
My buddy did it and he's from Cleveland! He talked about it in this video ua-cam.com/video/mI68w1MB_N4/v-deo.html
“Thursday is the day I wear cowboy boots and listen to country music.”
Very cool, nice meeting you Sheldon.
Awesome!! Burgundy is a great color for a first boot. It goes with so much
What colors have you bought?
@@HarrisPilton789 I bought a pair of Los Altos in python skin, natural color and black leather and a matching belt. I want to get some gator skin in natural too.
im earning money to get a pair of cowboy boots of my own right now and ive gotta admit that i love this comment section
When you give less fucks, fewer people fuck with you
Flat as fuck foot gang assembleeeeee!!
I wear cowboy boots most days although I live in the city now (Berlin) and in my office I'm most fondly known as the Cowboy. I actually only get compliments on my boots.
I’m a 66 yr old man and I just started wearing my boots a year or so ago. I love them and really don’t care what’s others think. Great vids J.
Your support and encouragement will surely help many guys overcome these unnecessary insecurities, so they can truly enjoy being in boots. D
VERY VERY motivational thanks man this video is the reason I wear my cowboy boots now it helped me a lot it's also gotten more of my friends wearing there's as well
Sweet! Glad to hear it. Thanks! Keep spreading the word!
Just getting into boots myself, and your channel has been the most helpful resource out there in learning about them. Especially the boots and jeans videos. Thank you, sir.
I like your short film I think all guys should wear cowboy boots I wear cowboy boots all the time
Awesome thanks! Keep rocking those boots!
Cowboy boots and long hair. I feel like a rock star!
I am a rock star haha!!
I completely understand Frank! Sometimes you just got to know it's right down to the bone. I'm glad you decided to keep them!
Cowboy shoes are not a problem to wear. It's the hat that gets me self conscious.
Same here lol
My hat is the last damn thing I'll give up! Keeps the sun out of my eyes and off my neck, love it.
You are correct however, I do get more sh!t from it than anything else I wear though.
Cowboy boots are simply the most comfortable "shoes" Ive worn. They just make you feel so confident. Nothing better
I’m 14 just ordered my first pair
Awesome! Congrats! What did you get?
I just got mine at Cal ranch on Monday it hurt my feet at first but now it feels great
I was walking out of a business building and I held a door for a lady and I had some ariats with the jeans tucked in and she said those are some nice boots and I said thank you
It's hard to ignore somebody in boots. Especially when they're being nice! Good for you!
@@JeremiahCraig thank you
Love from Switzerland :))
AWESOME! Congrats on the new boots! This is the best. What kind did you end up getting? Thanks so much for watching and welcome to the world of cowboy boots.
Jeremiah Craig
I got the 2 inches boots ^^, I’m 5 ft 8 so they add some height. They are quite snug but they are already softer than they were the first day
I’m gonna get the 1 and a half inch boots soon, I love the heel shape of these !
Thank you for your reply, it’s cool to see that you take time to talk to your fans :)
Btw my real name is John Seeberger, I joined your cowboy boots club yesterday
@@michaelsebi Nice. Yes new boots will continue to break in as you wear them. If you think they're comfortable now... JUST WAIT! Thanks for watching my videos and joining the group, John. I just enjoy talking with other people about the things I like so it means a lot to me that you'd comment at all. I really do appreciate it. Share a pic of your new boots on the FB group! Would love to see what you went with.
Just like you said they're easier to put on and walk in each time
Thank you for all your kind words Jeremiah :).
@@michaelsebi I just moved to Solothurn CH, Where in the heck did you find cowboy boots?!?! I havent found any REAL cowboy boots.
I agree with you 1% he should be yourself and be able to wear what you want
I haven't worn cowboy boots for many years, but just started to wear them again and I missed out on how great they are to wear! They go with any outfit and just look cool on your feet. I know this will get laughs from the "Die-Hard" cowboy boot fans, but the two brands that fit my feet the best are Wolverine and Durango. Yes, I said it, Wolverine and Durango! I'm not going to apologize for it, LOL!! Love your videos JC, keep it up!!!
Thanks! I can't laugh at those brands. The fact that you're rocking the boots is the most important part!
I swear western boots are incredible. They are perfect for so many feet. even custom. Wear boots and win!
Same here, worn them all my life and feel odd when I have to wear oxfords or something else. Comfortable, keep them up and they last for years.
For real, they are so durable. I’m always impressed by cowboy boots
i have never felt too insecure to wear cowboy boots..i am going to say something i heard when i was 5 yrs old "why should you care what other people think what you wear.your not wearing them to impress anyone so why let it bother you" . to this day i still don't give a crap what others think what i wear .i wasn't put on this planet for the enjoyment for others to judge me .so let them talk.and judge you that's there problem not yours.it just Leeds to hate for another person . i also don't let others tell me how i should dress or act the way they think i should act .there is more to life .than dressing to impress .
Friend makers indeed! Thanks for your support Paul! I appreciate this. A lot of people are still on the edge of wearing cowboy boots but not for long!
Get it man! Gotta love that western style. Including the music
Jeremiah Craig thanks for replying. Cowboy boots are sooo important to me.
Good stuff, wear mine everyday. Have several pair
You got to! It's tough to own only one pair
Jeremiah Craig yep, absolutely!
I am confident wearing Cowboy Boots. Not shy at all.
Been wearing since 9, i only got compliments ever since, i am lucky to wear and stand out different from my crew. Because we got style that only few folks can have.
Just got my first pare today most comfortable thing I’ve worn in years
YES! That's awesome! Congrats!!!
I am a teacher at a school and I proudly strut around in mah boots.
On of my favorite teachers in high school wore boots everyday. That means a lot to students even if they're not wearing boots now. Keep it up!
@@JeremiahCraig Thanks man! Keep up the great work.
Such a great video ! If I’m not wearing my boots I literally feel naked. They are a part of my everyday life ! Won’t wear anything else !👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Hell, I’m insecure when I’m not wearing cowboy boots.
I get more crap for wearing my rodeo king 10X than my boots. The hat would be the last thing to go, love that thing! Nice wide brim that keeps the sun out of my eyes and off my neck.
Extremely practical!
So happy I found this channel.
I happy you found it too! Thanks for watching!
That's the way to do it!
It's so much fun to have those ice breaker conversations thanks to boots. Keep rocking them!
Thanks man! I really appreciate it. I love sharing my story and my travels too. It's all about staying positive!
Tecovas.
Thanks for the videos, Thanks to you I just purchased a wicked looking pair of Roper Criss Cross CCS Concealed Carry boots today. You should show them on your videos.
I don’t run my life off the opinions of others.
You’ve made me feel more comfortable wearing my boots but I’m still not sure about it or wearing them to school
I always wearing my cowboy boots and listening to country music! I do every fucking day
That's what I'm talking about!
I needed this
Happy to help! Wear those boots!
Jeremiah Craig
Is Ariat a good brand ? I saw a lot of cool looking boots from this brand. Cavender’s had 3 isles of Ariat and 5 or 6 isles of other brands and some crazy expensive exotics . I’m gonna try a keep it around $200. I wear 9 1/2 in my normal hiking tennis shoes.
I've heard mixed things about Ariat. Either people love them or not so much. I haven't tried them yet. I did just try the Justin Bent Rail series and that's pretty awesome for that price range
Jeremiah Craig
I’ll definitely try several different brands on.
Why do you think you were so scared to ask for cowboy boots?
I once cares wearing them. I don't care anymore. I even wear them to church. In the cooler months I wear them everyday.. wear the boots.
Couldn’t imagine wearing anything else to church or anywhere else for that matter! Just wear the boots
Honestly the only thing that people say that would bother me is if they assume you are gay and hit on you because you wear pointed cowboy boots with full exposed shaft.
Boots are a thing in the gay community and that's cool. People should do what they want. I always wear my pants over the shaft anyways and rarely get hit on but that's just how I wear them
@@JeremiahCraig guys with cool boots can look so damn sexy... ;)
If you do wear cowboy boots thats kool. I wear them too. Just dont go around Northern Kentucky with cowboy boots on. I left Northern Kentucky almost 2 years ago and yes Northern Kentucky is that violent. Thats why i moved away
How bout a “y’all” every once in a while, you’re killing me with the “you guys” lol
Those boots are awesome ( ones you're wearing ) what are they?
Thanks! They're my first pair. Brown Boulets
Try wearing them in Europe, that will attract some crazy ass looks 🤣🤣
No doubt!
Haha don't know. I'm not an expert on skinny jeans. I'm sure they're out there with your requirements.
You are awesome man. Thanks a lot for that video
I have worn cowboy boots for nearly 30 years. Nobody has ever made fun of me to my face. Most people don't pay attention to them. When people notice them, they love them. I also don't listen to much country music. I listen to Van Halen and ZZ Top.
I wear Justin’s cause I like them I don’t care what other people think but compliments r welcome I’m looking to get Abilene’s
I'm right there with you, man. I'm cool with compliments or general chats but they should keep that negativety to themselves
Haha that's what I'm talking about. Sucks to hear about the lack of boots near you. Do you know what size you are?
@@JeremiahCraig sizes are labelled differently here in the UK, a US size 10 is the equivalent to a UK size 9, so in the past I've tried US 9 and been too small and tried US 10 and been too big! another annoying thing is that I have very narrow feet...
Damn i just bought my first paid im a minority lol i got hella compliments and Sparked up many conversations
That's what's so special about owning boots no matter who you are! Congrats btw. What did you end up with?
