I've been a lifelong Benchmade guy and picked up a Phaeton last year and it checks all the boxes. S30V blade, great action, spine tigger, and aluminum handles. Great OTF.
Love my Microtech UTX85! Have carried my daily for almost 6 years. I use and abuse my knives (cut a piece of sheet rock with it one time) and she’s still kicking. Would definitely pick another one up, without a doubt.
I’m a Microtech fan! I’ve looked at the Benchmade otfs but think that Microtech is the better choice! I’m a little bias since they made in NC only about 2 hours from my house. They just fire like they mean business! Thank you for your content! I think my next Microtech is going to be a Combat Troodon or a Scarab 2! I want one of the bigger ones, I currently have 3 Ultratechs, a Ram Lok Stitch and the Tachyon 3( which is Microtech’s old balisong)! I love Benchmade too just not a fan of the otfs that they offer.
CPM D2 is made by Crucible Powder Metals (they also make CPM 3V, CPM S30V, and so on). CPM D2 is basically a powdered version of D2, I still don't like it but I heard its like CPM S30V in its performance.
I've got the ultratech TE Dirac delta partially serrated Mini hera Socom elite Socom elite auto Socom bravo TE 3 MSI black cf, apc g10, and a sw polymer. Ram lock stitch Ram lock amphibian Gen 3 combat troodon.
As always the best reviews on the web the most entertaining, the most exciting,I've watched for a couple years now and I love it,I like otf's but I'm a spyderco guy para2 to be exact, this one is pretty sick looking and like you said the fidget factor is cool,I would like to see more on footwear ,what's your go to sneaker ,boot??
the green one is dang beautiful !!! and its a magnacut !!! but well as I fight on overage every week I tend to not love carring knives after being in a lot of knife fights that here in europe, I think it's not safe having a knife for defence, and less even a OTF, but I like more for as a fidget, it's really cool, otherwise if I have to carry for x whatever reason, I than like fixed blades only .. though I have to admit the green one is a good collection peace !
my favorite otf knife i have is the combat troodon hellhound same one in john wick 2 the train scene i carry it everyday since i got it along with my g19 g5
I bought an OTF Microtech, but I never carry it because the edges on both sides are dull don't get me wrong it would be great for self defense not for daily tasks. I still carry a foldable knife from Kershaw.
I still have most of the knives from when I was a kid. With that being said, I still can't justify spending that Benchmade level money on something that isn't multi purpose. The OTF Lighting's are cheap and I won't get pissed if I break the tip off using it on a screw. But I quit carrying that knife because the internals wear out too quickly so makes rattling noises when carrying it in pocket.
Wow, how useless of a blade! Why do 0TF means daggers to the knife Noob crowd? Ya know plastic usually means, screw you our profits means more. (every other industry) and you're still paying big money. "we're BENCHMADE!" yer missing a Lightning!
The guardian tactical recon 40 is my all time favorite otf used to be the troodon until I had the recon 40. Too bad it took me a year to get 1. I would get the email that it was in stock and hurry up and log on and too late sold out, oh well it was worth the wait.

You’ve gotta get a Hogue otf they are great quality knives and gun accessories.
You need to try a Kershaw livewire. For the price to size and material it can’t be beat. Especially being USA made and Magnacut
The Kershaw live wire is the best otf for the money. Kershaws launch line and OTF are hard to beat and the for the price!

I miss Zach in the Wild's channel 😭... Tell me it was an early April fool's joke 😢

I agree, the CPM version is better but the internet trolls still hate the thought of D2 😂
Great collection but now you gotta add the OG and still king of otf the benchmade infidel!!! Thanks for the vid 🤙

Thank U for the Info and links 👍
Microtech scarab 2 gen 3..I just got one. Super dialed
the green one is dang beautiful !!! and its a magnacut !!! but well as I fight on overage every week I tend to not love carring knives after being in a lot of knife fights that here in europe, I think it's not safe having a knife for defence, and less even a OTF, but I like more for as a fidget, it's really cool, otherwise if I have to carry for x whatever reason, I than like fixed blades only ..

Nice otfs man!
Nice collection! Believe that 25 th anniversary blade is called a bayonet!
Gotta check out the Kershaw livewire man! My new favorite and I’ve owned microtechs, GTs, etc.
terrible blade for sharpening! too much $$.
Cool 🐣 on the claymore ✌️
my favorite otf knife i have is the combat troodon hellhound same one in john wick 2 the train scene i carry it everyday since i got it along with my g19 g5
Nice!
Whent the mini Claymore OTF dropping?
Later this year I believe
I bought this knife and it came off track and I couldn’t fix it. Had to send it back and Benchmade repaired it. Besides that I love this knife
Seeing these knives makes me want to move out of California
Do it!
Good, looking knives
Amazing vid bro thank you! Absolute follow 👍🏻
You need a new microtech combat troodon. Or the new hera.
What are your thoughts on the Cobratec OTFs?
Kinda budget side of OTFs but I don’t have any real world experience with them
I bought an OTF Microtech, but I never carry it because the edges on both sides are dull don't get me wrong it would be great for self defense not for daily tasks. I still carry a foldable knife from Kershaw.
Cpm-d2 is world different than traditional d-2 steel. Cpm-d2 is a high end steel, it is on par with cruwear
What watch is he wearing?
Explorer II
Oooh nice, thanks 👍
I need some new knives
Awseome i like
BM pricing is Absurd 🤣
CPM D2 is slightly higher quality then regular D2

I’ve been contemplating this one. I lost my infidel a few months ago and I’ve been really bummed out about it.
from what i have heard cpm d2 is way better then chinses d2 still gets a bad rap though
Agreed. That info won’t change people mind on the internet tho 😂
....
Benchmade still not supporting 2A? No? Ok...guess I will stick with my Microtechs
Wow, how useless of a blade! Why do 0TF means daggers to the knife Noob crowd?
