I relate to all of them! I struggle with regulating my emotions a lot, especially because I’m an HSP, where you not only feel your own emotions but also the emotions of others. I’m doing my best to change, the first step to change is to be mindful of your triggers which make you lose yourself. Noting them down, introspecting them and finding solutions would help you to come to terms with your emotions, embrace them, accept them and as a result you learn to regulate and calm them. It’s like coaxing a little child from throwing a tantrum and Inwant to say this, even if we are adults, we merely wear a mask that shields our inner child. There’s no shame in being childish, not at all. What matters is that you do not let your inner child cause harm to others. Others who are struggling the same way, we’re all on the same boat called life, so don’t worry, you are not alone. Hopefully we can get through all this and become better individuals, best of luck to everyone, you can do this! 🥰❤️
Emotion clouds judgement. We have emotional reasoning skills and logical reasoning skills. If I use emotion I usually am perceived as over reacting while I think I am just being passionate. I tend to exaggerate and make mountains out of mole hills when reacting with emotion.

i have to say i have been bottling up anger for years and it does seep out from time to time, but i make sure not to lash out at others, rather i lash out against myself.
Now at 50yrs old and a HSP, I've learned to take a step back when events get too emotional. However, my 27 yr old stepson lives with us and is diagnosed with bipolar and BPD. There's a chaotic cycle with him acting out all sorts of paranoias, always when his father is out of town. This last one that I'm desperately trying to recoup from, targeted me. It's hard y'all...HARD. To be accused of ugly, hateful things that just aren't true and my growing resentment has reached its peak. My compassion for him has run dry. I'm tired and depressed at this point. Time mends much but I'm not sure this distructive, mentally exhausting dynamic will.😔
My brothers are always like this, and I used to be like this when I was younger. It’s so natural to have anger, but overtime I’ve learned that we should forgive each other bc our god said so :) it’s not good to use anger as a standpoint ;-;
When I was dating a narcissist, all of these applied, and it felt very uncomfortable. My BPD (diagnosed after that relationship crescendoed, mainly from a court-ordered evaluation though I'd known something was wrong since at least 25 years earlier) compounded everything, and everything fed everything else, and the happy result is that I've moved on from that connection. Now it's mostly my own crazy that I'm dealing with, which is much simpler.
I'm still trying to work on my anger, I try not to let it control me..it's hard because when I take my anger out on people, I feel horrible when I do it. I have improved over the years and I have gotten better on controlling my anger. Lesson learned: don't push away the people that love and care for you because if you do lash out at them, you will regret it.
