Marathon’s choice to talk up Incabloc feels strange and like their marketing department is scraping the bottom of the barrel. It’s been around since 1934 and has many competitors that all do the same thing. I guess they, like Tissot, find advertising their much more resilient quartz options to be unsexy…
While many could do the same this thing and most of the marathon SAR series are tanks. Overbuilt and have a great toolish feel which they are. Under $2,500 there’s not a better built or featured chrono from a major brand. Sure there might be micro brands shoving the 7750 into their models but this CSAR is pretty good. I prefer it to my former Omega Planet Ocean 45.5 mm chrono.
Now that is a watch with function in mind.

I no longer have the CSAR but it was beautiful on a black isofrane. Much better fit than the stock Marathon rubber.
How do you get the watch started? Do you wind it or just move with it on your wrist?
I used to give it 5-10 winds and then wear it for the day.

How large is your wrist?
I’m fluctuate between 7.35-7.5 ish - this watch is awesome but you need beefy straps to hold it like canvas or isofrane.
