Standing ovation for such an excellent informative review. Everything this man said is 100% spot on. Given that it was uploaded 7 years ago….he was right when he mentioned to expect a significant increase to swiss-made watch prices. This watch is currently $5400! Unbelievable
I love that this watch may very well be the most "haute-horology" watch piece one would be issued in the military. Aside from an EMP, there's no practical reason you'd have an automatic movement in a watch for the military XD
No battery to die in a mechanical watch. As long as you have a mechanical watch serviced as recommended, they are absolutely dependable. Even solar quartz watches lose their ability to take a charge.
Such a cool watch! Great job on the video as well

But is that a Harris Tweed you're using as a backdrop.
Great video!
Outstanding review, thank you for sharing
Apologies if I missed it, but is this battery powered or did I read somewhere that it is self winding? Thanks.
It is a self winding automatic movement.
Quick queston, how wide is your wrist ?
What is the price ?

Traditionally, military-issue pilot watches have been automatic. It would reduce the risk of battery death during duty.
There are cheaper watches, with a valjioux 7750 movement, that don’t cost nearly 5,000.00 the only problem with this watch.
The price same sinn and fortis
@@Joker-yb6ks All of these brands have become insane in regards to price. Better to stick with high-precision quartz nowadays.
