I've just bought a new washing machine, had the guys install it and one of the taps is leaking. Only been here a month. Thank you for explaining the process. Rather than ask the agent to get someone in, I think I'll do it myself. Just need to buy some tools to do it.
Hey mate, long time sub here! Love the vids. I just noticed how you use your adjustable wrench when you were loosening the tap, no biggie but if that was really tight, chances are you would have slipped due to wrench was facing the other way. You should always point the adjustable side on where your turning just like when you were tightening the tap. Keep it up mate
Thanks bill huge fan of your content, you have an amazing ability to simplify everyday tasks. out of curiosity what is your trade and how does one become an all around handy man?
Same here, on a very old tap. I could see a red fibre washer cemented between the parts and there was no budging it, for me - gave up and bought a new fitting.
Hey, this is from Jukin Media we are still interested in your video and want to partner with you. Please contact us back so we can discuss more. Thank you.
Thanks, really helpful and proud I did change the washer myself but the tap really needs to be turned off tight to stop dripping - too tight for kids and elders to manage. Grateful if you can advise my next step?

@Billshowto how do you remove a wall tap spindle that's stuck? It hasn't been removed in a while
Multi grips 👍👍👍
@billshowto Any brands do you recommend? Do I need to apply WD40?
no wd40 and any brand will do. The multi grips will allow you to bite onto the spindle with leverage to undo it
What did you tighten before you put on the handles again?
Do they no longer have hot and cold tap washers?
Did you do the exhaust fan video bruv?
Awesome thank you heaps 👏🏼😍
Do we need plumbers tape and grease on thread?
so helpful
Quality in the tap washer helps those cheap plastic crap
Thank you
I probably would have done the seatings as well
Top stuff 👍
The fan makes it sound like something scary is about to happen, like in paranormal videos 😂😆😂😆
Don't say that, I'm just about to do this job 🤣
Thanks
Good thank muck

It pays to turn the taps fully on before you start, especially when you reinstall the tap body!
👍👍👍
Don’t you hate it when your tap dips!
u didn't change the 4 O rings.
