Saw this exact car today at Nissan Headquarters in Victoria. It looked amazing and was so loud as they brought it inside the building for display. Such an amazing end to an era.
I still think this car is amazing and will hold a special place in a lot of people's hearts as one of their favourite sports cars of all time, including me~ Idc if it's 15 years old and moderate updates were made, I still think this car looks amazing, the interior is nice and simple to use, power and acceleration are still amazing for modern standards with that 3.8-L twin turbo V6, and just the old-school, mechanical, and analogue feel of the GT-R gives it personality. It may not beat modern supercars today, but it can still keep up with them no problem, which is still impressive. The GT-R should still be respected, and for how old it is, it's just something special. I want to buy one in the future, and just keep it stock tbh. Also, that Skyline R32 GT-R and that R35 GT-R Nismo in the top left *thumbs up* ~~
Good comment re NZ availability. So people in Australia are asking A$1M for these online. How much to import one from NZ - purchase new for NZ$250k (A$230k), pay GST, import duty and shipping, say A$50k. So in your driveway for no more than $300k. But silly me, maybe that Aussie compliance plate is worth $700k…
Sure has aged well. Pity it didn't sell that well, maybe Nissan should have responded to the demand of common trends better. Would still get one but would def get rid of those plain, ugly rims x
12:48 is just an awesome side view. the r35 side view is just beautiful

A well evolved car; perhaps a lesson that regular improvements to older platforms could be the way to go. Thanks Ponch for an enthusiastic review.
Holy shit, this car has everything someone born in the 90s would want and need. Beautiful Car!

"That's perfect for going camping." Hahaha...always dry, thanks Nathan.
great detail on the new colorway
Nathan did it again. Minute 7:21 the backseat is for taking a body to the morgue 🤣🤣🤣
What a weapon.
Weapons grade price too but that sort of performance doesnt come cheap.
Very true.
7 speed gearbox? Surprised they added a cog.
Did they? Or he made a mistake?

My ultimate Dream Car! Vrooooooooom!
So sad to see it go, always dreamed of owning one - maybe second hand in the future. Great video!
Us too!
I have a feeling they will never be cheap
Nathan made a reference about not needing a compliance plate, when does this kick in?
I want one. If I was an Aussie I'd leave
Am I the only person that feels that the midnight purple in the R35 has pretty much no colour compared to the midnight purple (‘s) on the R34?
Great review! Thanks for the best automotive content on UA-cam
This is the last knight of an era! But for that price I will be better looking for a 911 Turbo S or GT3... :)
Used Lambo
@@thecommentsectionguy731 Lambo breaks a lot… Same as the Ferrari… 😂
love it. sad it will go
Problem is they were $257,000 but speculators bought them all up and are asking $600k now.
Is it just me who mistakens the 2 cars on the top left for another picture superimposed on the video? 😂
Clever positioning!
Is it just me or there is an R35 Nismo in the background?
There is
Is agreat great car, hope it last forever
Boy they need to change that body style old already
They'll change it soon, but we reckon it's help up quite well
Put down a big deposit on a house!
What's so special about this car compared to a premium
Why do you keep calling it 'GD-R'?
He’s saying GT-R?
Paying more than MSRP…. Bad move..

Plain ugly rims? Gold and lightweight. Form and fuction so i don't see anything bad about it
Nissan has neglectd this car in terms of updates.
👍👍😍
Would you really care about the boot space not really a car to go shopping in
We cover everything
Why not? Mad flex.
No isofix in the back would be a deal breaker for me
Interior looks so outdated for being 2022
It's quite an old car now, and for most it's about the dynamics. How about the green leather? We like that
Buy a house.!
I wish I could buy a house for $250k
Hell no I’ll buy the GTR
