I really like the redesign. Most of the times when a brand does a redesign or facelift of an existing model, it usually ends up looking like a completely different gen or they just ruin the original looks all together with a bunch of flair. The new GTR not only looks better than the first version of the R35, it still manages to bring more resemblance to the R34 than the previous 2 versions of this model. This is the one to get for sure!

No one wanted me except that monster, right there, at the time I had no clue what a GTR was! Let's just say, from that night forward, I respect the GTR til this day! Good to see you again GTR, looking mighty good!
that interior is probably the best and the most comfortable looking and the most simply intuitive and dare I say, utilitarian, cyberpunk, substantial, interior, that I have ever seen!
This car's development started in year 2000 along with the Lexus LFA as design sketches. The GTR is an absolute beast, engineering marvel, hand built classic. Thank you Carlos Ghosn and Nissan, for completely losing your minds and bringing Godzilla to life. Hard to think of anything as mental as the R35 GTR except maybe Bugatti, but those things cost millions. This car has gained legendary status forever.
great video as always. this T spec is beautiful, love the Rays wheels on this GT-R. my only problem is the price, in this price range there are some very good and more modern cars. even so it is still a good option

If anyone is considering buying a GT-R do it. Once you get one IMO they are all very close to the same. With a few mods any GTR can be as fast or faster than a T-Spec. My GTR bring me so much joy. Only advice is buy one that has good record of maintenance.

That's why. I drive a pickup because ..... potholes, speed bumps, construction sites and the ubiquitous human speed bumps.
I believe this is the end of this masterpiece of a car. Because obviously Nissan doesn't have money to develop another car like this. What is great about this car is that it's ability to still keep up with it's competitors in term of performance. The base GT-R (costs $93k in Japan) performs at the same level of a $160k R8, while my favourite Track Edition GT-R (costs $115k in Japan) with 600hp performs better or at the same level of a non-Z07 $115k Corvette Z06, $184k 992 Turbo, $210k R8 Performance and etc. It's still somehow avoids inflation. I think this is best time to buy a GT-R before it's too late.

It seems the majority are unhappy with the car and wouldn't get one. I have a deposit on a T-spec midnight purple for 184K. Was the best deal I could find in all of California. I am very curious as to what others would buy for that. Other cars in this range I've looked at are marked up as well or a year's wait it seems. Lambo's and Ferraris are 300-400k starting now. Porsche seems to be a good option, but again, years wait and also high mark ups. Nothing else seems comparable to me. Two key points: AWD is a big win for my preference. I mourn the fact there is no manual transmission option. I feel like I'm making a mistake, but this has been the dream car for me since Grand Turismo came out in '97.

The gtr is an amazing car. What made them appealing in 2009 was it made 465hp and was a monster on a road course for only 69k. At 120k for a base model you price out your potential buyers. People who can afford 120k + aren't looking for GTR's. They should make a mass production model with an engine thats not hand built something built on the assembly line and price it at 70k.

I'm glad I got my Gtr's when I did. I would never pay so much for so little. I bought a 2016 brand new and have been daily driving it since. Currently making 1,100whp on a semi built motor and trans at 98,000 miles and also bought a 2016 to build into a 2,000whp monster. I have purchased and built both cars for less than the cost of a stock nismo. It just doesn't make any sense. But I guess it's for collectors and people who prefer to drive stock cars that are over priced.
Still one of my dream cars, I've been driving a 370z for the last 10 years. I remember when these both came out around the same time in highschool. Glad I got to experience at least one of these amazing machines from Nissan :)
I wish manufacturers would stop using alcantara on seats and stearing wheels. That shit wears out to easy over time. Leather is the way to go. Also, nissan needs to redesign the GTR. Love this car but the platform is 15 years old.
I thought I was the only person that knows about the garbage pail kids lol. But Joe knows it. I still have my collections from the old days. Love ‘em. I think if I ever get a GT-R, I would go all out for the Nismo version. Even if it’s over $220k.

GTR has aged well...would take it 10X over any new Corvette, Supra, Porsche, NSX super car types
