Seriously, in counseling evil (a continuation of the evil council mini series) Keith teaches Marik how to be an American villain. That means expositing his backstory. Keith explains that the cosmic cube changed his nationality (a spoof of Captain America's short time as a Hydra double agent)

Was it me or was the guy who gave the kids guns looked like un-costumed Snowflame!? *SNOWFLAME LIVES* but had set backs!
Who knows, maybe that character's design was the inspiration for Fabian Orozco, Snowflame's secret identity in the fan comic
I love how the only thing Linkara's villains know him for is beating Vice.
Vyce had a massive reputation for himself across the multiverse - it's why Linksano fled his own universe when he heard he was coming its way. Creatures like the Entity (Lovecraftian monster-Gods and the like) don't tend to go out of their own realms, but Vyce was a continual active threat... until Linkara managed to take him out.
Well, there's that 😛
yeah plus Vyce was basically the only villain anyone really KNEW about. LInksano was basically just a harmless asshole, The Entity had basically hid itself from everyone aside from its followers and only Vyce knew about it, Mechakara was purely largely focused on Linkara and thus hadn't set up a name for himself outside of that and anyone else was basically just restricted to linakra's univverse or a more or less myth, and even aside from that Vyce's defeat was basically the one people would most likely hear about due to the sheer NUMBER of universe's he invaded and the myth surrounding him.

DC really needs to bring back Snowflame. I've heard that they have implied he's around in the rebirth universe, but we need to see him!
Some of the New Guardians bits have been mentioned in more recent stuff, so it's not impossible. It might be fun to see him fight Section8, who do get revisited from time to time.
Section 8? You want him to fight HUD?
Not sure who HUD is. There was a team failing heroes that first appeared in a 90s DC comic called Hitman who went by the name Section 8. They've cropped up a few times more recently. Noteworthy members include Sixpack (who can get drunker than any other human), Dogwelder (a legacy character that fights using a MIG-welder and a dog corpse), Friendly Fire (can shoot lasers out of his body, but has no ability to aim them) and Bueno Excellente (who lowers the tone). Mostly seen as a joke by other heroes.

Kinda wish theyd go more into detail about Betty and the Dreamtime. I know that all myths are true in the DC universe, but theres not as much focus on Australian folklore (as far as i know) and it deserves better
Yeah Marvel has done a lot more with Aborgine Dreamtime stories....DC basically treats Austrlia as a joke still

Ha you know I was just thinking the other day how rare it is to see Aboriginal or Australian stuff depicted in popular media. Like you see the Greek and norse GODS in everything even weird add stuff like Mayans, native Americans and Celts get more love and recently there's being something of a boom of interest in passific islander stuff. But when was the last time anyone saw say the Rainbow serpent in a line up of GODS. Or an Australian super hero?

I was struck by the significance of the guy at the AIDS clinic makes a big deal of his still being there three years after diagnosis. It's a stark reminder how much has changed, considering that these days in the developed world, if you can secure access to treatment and are diagnosed early, you stand a very good chance of being able to live with the condition for decades.

That guy at the end is like a mix of Lord Vyce and Emiya Kiritsugu. If he fights Linkara I am sure there's going to be a lot of pain. Also, I didn't knew Snowflame got powers from Cocaine. That would explain why Rick Sanchez is so powerful.
