This entire storyline is killing me on the inside (in a good way). You can SEE that both sides have extremely valid and understandable motivations… but God are both doing things no one would recommend. Still, I'm cheering for Pollo, Linksano and Harvey all the way; c!Linkara's just… he's trying his best but I don't think he's gonna manage if he's all alone AND has the government on his back for his Secret Shady Operations.
And this had much more Superman than the last Terminator crossover, so I was very happy throughout the entire review. You go Clark and… uh, earthborn angel Linda Danvers. You go.

Gonna be honest, Robocop vs the Terminator was better. This is what Miller was worried about, just Person X meeting the Conor's randomly.
More of an even fight for sure. Its just much harder to believe that the Terminators stood much chance versus the superheroes of a world

The reason the first two movies work is how they state that it was a big deal to send back Kyle and the three Terminators. It was even logical from a machine to send back two terminators to make sure the job was done, with the more advanced prototype being sent back second. The problem after that with the next three movies and especially the tv series is that it seemed more easy to just send countless terminators and resistance fighters.
My guess is when the terminator universe temporarily merged with the DC universe skynet (ie this comic) got more high tech.
A GriffinTV any technology gets easier to use over time. Plus, the human resistance kept blowing up the time machines as soon as they were built. The resources were also hard to find. They had to send back machines just to collect the supplies to do it, which meant after those trips, they had a cache of travel materials and can travel freely now.
Terminatrix was also the name of a softcore Japanese porno movie that was dubbed into English by the old-school LA dubbing corp, including Wendee Lee, Joshua Seth, and Sonja Fox.

eh was never a big fan of the dark Knight returns. the art was angular and ugly it felt the need to have satire about the media and I felt like it was trying way to hard to be dark and edgy.
however I am glad that it did bring the real Batman into the public eye and not the sixties TV show version.

Unfortunately Drk Horse comics didn't have the rights to the t-1000 that's why they only send the older models. But I agree it doesn't make sense they should've at least given a clue why they're only sending the older models

It sent back a T-800 to the 1980s, the prototype T-1000 to the 1990s. And if you ignore the director, and accept movies after T2, it also sent an even more advanced Terminator at the same time as the prototype T-1000.
How fast can Skynet invent upgrades and build them?
The first Superman vs Terminator crossover was the beginning of the threats you faced. I expected reviewing more of the crossover would play a large role in the storyline. I'm still waiting for the visit to Mechakara's dystopian universe. I still want my headcanon of the Atari Jaguar CD being responsible because of that episode of AVGN where it was sentient validated, and the Nerd being the John Connor equivalent because he's knowlegable about technology and is in a shared universe with AT4W and the other Channel Awesome shows. And I still remember you saying you'd discuss the insanity of the Legion of Superheroes timeline, and wondering when you'll do Countdown Arena, and when the Plutonians from Neutro appear because Neutro is real in this universe

Sarah Connor Chronicles pretty much showed that it was multiverse theory when Derek Reese realized that Jesse was not the Jesse from his timeline, and the strong woman he thought he knew was gone, replaced with a shellshocked monster who would gladly kill an innocent girl to fool John Connor.

Erin's actress did amazingly well in this episod. Seeing her reacs to everything with vyce seemed real like this was reao life and not an internet review show. She was really expressive and I enjoy her more and more. Fantastic job!
Vyce is ten steps ahead and Linkara doesn't even know what game he's playing yet.

You know, for some reason I can't help but wonder where the hell Brainiac is during the whole terminators wiping out humanity thing if it happens in the DC universe. Also why doesn't Darkseid use Superman's absence as an opportunity to try and take over? I feel like he'd be a lot harder to deal with than terminators.

One problem I always saw with the "50 Terminator"-Thing (and I never saw the movies, so it's really only a guess), is ironically time. The whole reason Skynet is doing this, is because the resistance is a threat to them. So waiting, until 50 Terminator are built and then sending them back in time is a dangerous gamble, when just building 1 or two, who by all means should be more than enough for the task, is quicker and logically the safer bet. They concluded, the probability of those Terminators failing is lower than the probability of the resistance gaining the upper hand in the time to make more Terminators. Both probabilities are laughably low, but do exist, which is all that counts for the machines

All I can think when seeing Superman draped in the American flag is Jon Stewart's line from Batman v Superman: "I assume the only reason he's not using the Declaration of Independence as a cape is that he thinks it's too on the nose".
Also, Sky 1 and DC superheroes? Being from England, that seems like a familar combination...

Ya know, with how the plot seems to be going, I wouldn't be surprised if Linkara is going to become Vyce due to shenanigans, with his buddies trying to stop him and ruin the true villain's plan of making Linkara fall as a hero.
Oh Lord the problems with all the terminators, the original was a last ditch attempt as Skynet was on the verge of collapse and humanity captured the time facility straight after Shwartzy and T-1000 were sent back which is how they sent Resse back. And that's part of a whole causality loop.
Skynet's ability to keep upgrading and sending more Ts back after that point is... unexplained and makes no damn sense. Unless Reese was wrong about them losing. Maybe Skynet had a secret Cell lab.
Given that one of the driving forces of the first couple Terminator movies is horror, namely ordinary people versus a murderous enemy that is very difficult to damage or destroy, this gets blunted in a superhero crossover where you have so many characters that could mow through these things like blades of grass. There are horror comics, but these are either more background ambiance, such as with characters like Etrigan or all the demons in Constantine, or with actual horror which DC has plenty of. But mainstream superheroes versus a horrific enemy, the Terminators lose their edge when you compare them to all the mechanical monstrosities of the DCU.
Might have been more interesting with a Legion tie in. Supes gets sucked into the 31st century and Skynet has merged with Computo! There's a scary thought.

You know what would make for a great dramatic twist? If actually someone interrupted the review. That would be surprising and terryfying
Two things that are major points as of this story:
The biggest one is that the Magic Gun hasn't acted up. Sure, her actress might not be available for whatever reason, but something tells me there's more to her not acting up at this point.
The other is that if 90s Kid and Vyce had been working together for that long, why hasn't the former told the latter that the Entity IS gone. He should know, having been possessed by it. The fact that the former is working with the latter despite that ground-zero-gained knowledge, to put it one way, means that the Entity isn't indeed as dead as thought. And it may not even be a new Entity, but Missingno itself.
Those two are the biggest linchpins to this entire mystery, about what's actually going on.
reyonXIII and to add to this, we know that The Entity's followers made the gun, making it ineffective against The Entity. Maybe the gun has been trying to reach out, and MissingNo has been keeping her quiet
I always suspected that Batbot Changer would turn out to be evil... or at least Chaotic Stupid.

One I saw that title card coming. Two the Terminators make sense in another way. Many LSH stories mention a "Great Disaster" that presumably is NOT Kamandi, as he's the last boy on earth. So why not a robot apocalypse?

So... I'm not sure if I posted this back on the last one where Linkara booted everyone out (in a sense) But... Anyone else getting a Teen Titans feeling from this? And to clarify, I'm referring to the two episode run where Robin thinks Slade is back, and thinks he's gonna bomb the all around the town, but the rest of the Titans don't find anything... This feels really similar, but also has it's own thinks to make it different.
A few things you should absolutely never do with the terminator franchise: focus on the lore (it's not what's important and it loses it's mystique really quickly), exploit the time travel until it gets convoluted (It's a straight forward action thriller chase movie), give Skynet a face and a voice (those are identifiably human qualities which make it less alien), show several terminators getting destroyed effortlessly (terminators are supposed to seem unstoppable, being hunted by one is meant to be tense and scary).
I'm high as hell because I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. Time for AT4W!

So on the subject of Cyborg Superman...what do you think of the current Action Comics story arc? I for one have been liking it, especially that last page of 982, with Super-Lex and the rest of the Supers standing ready to support the Man of Steel against the Superman Revenge Squad! Who'd have thunk that "Lex flippin' Luthor" would ever stand between Superman and certain doom?
Linkara should build the Death Bomb II to lure Vice in to a trap.
