I have read mixed reviews on Faction Fab coilovers. How are they holding up for you? Since we have almost the same climate and crappy roads (IN is way better than MI) I will take your advice over rando's on forums from Cali and warmer climate areas. I was considering the TEIN Flex Z or A coilovers when I tear into that project. I honestly don't care about the ride height so much. I am just looking for an upgrade on my suspension and handling. I added those Megan strut tower braces and they have made a great improvement. I am considering a step further and upgrading the sway bars. What front sway did you try to install that wouldn't work? I am considering the factionFab front and rears but if the front won't work, i will hunt for ones that do. BTW my J pipe is in, wrapped the whole first section and at least 18 inches onto the second. No drone at all. Got the e tune done and it is hitting 20.9 PSI peak according to the gauge in the car. That was with 50 degree temps. Assuming it will be well over 21 Psi in the even warmer weather. thank you again for any advice on the sway bars and your coilover experience.
The FactionFab coilovers are holding up great and will be a good upgrade from stock. I would stick with OEM diameter front bar that may have some adjustment if it exists. Solid end links for sure. Bump steer can be corrected with a relocation kit if your bar gets you the stability you want. #nodronedaily ...awesome!
@@MrCliffWorks I was thinking of going with the Tein type Z or A not sure since they are both almost the same. I like the powder coating Tein puts on their products for these harsh winters. There is enough gunk under my car. I was thinking of upgrading my front and rear end links with the Torque Solution ones. They are the same as the Perrin ones but a little less money. I will keep the OEM front sway bar but upgrade the rear to the FactionFab one. I don't know what bump steer is so I will need to look that up and what it might feel like. For a daily driver, i am hoping I don't experience it. I do have the Megan strut tower braces as well so I am not sure if that will help prevent that. Have you upgraded your pitch stop link and the pitch stop brace? I did mine when I changed out my TMIC. That "funny" jumping in 1st at low speeds and low speed shifting is completely removed. Plus the peace of mind to know my firewall won't get any cracks. That OEM plastic thing is poop! I will need to remember or write down you distance for your coilovers since I am planning to only drop mine 1/2 inch. With the potholes here I don't want to be bottoming out.
Look into the bump steer...90% sure a stiffer front bar would kill your daily ride. Strut tower braces and solid end links will give you a lot better cornering without losing comfort. I would recommend a rear bar and end links, though. That will kill body roll and under steer. At this point, I think I have a perfect daily setup...just wish I had a budget for another 30+ horsepower 😏
@@MrCliffWorks I know what bump steer is now that I looked it up. Since I live off a dirt road every vehicle experiences this when there is wash boarding in the gravel. Nothing you can do but slow down and correct the wheel. Since i am not looking to lower the car more than 1/2 I don't think I should experience it. Maybe i will be wrong. Whiteline does sell a correction kit that is better tie rods and ball joints. I am not really trying to get into all that right now haha. When either takes a crap and needs replacement, I will go with those though. I will plan on the solid end links front and rear. Only upgrading my rear sway bar though. Once that is done I will look to late summer on the coil overs if i get board and wanna tinker. 30 more ponies seems almost impossible for us. We have replaced everything we can at this point. New full length headers and or a upgraded turbo is all that seems to be left. Those are two projects i don't think i ever want to tackle. I know the j pipe added more HP and TQ but I am still not tossed back into my seat when the boost kicks in. Car sounds great though and before I know it I am going way to fast haha.

How do they ride full soft?
I'm going to find out today. I'll be taking out the extra preloading also. I'll check in later today to let you know.
